I was so excited to have some ‘warm’ weather the past few days but naturally all good things must come to an end and today, another huge snowstorm heads our way. What does that mean? As my dad said this morning “What does the news always tell you to do when it’s snowing out?” “Dress in layers!” And today’s outfit is exactly that…because as everyone knows…the proper way to stay warm and cozy is with warm layers that you can add on or peel off throughout the day.
I love this outfit because like some of you have already seen…I’m a bit obsessed with this faux fur vest which is just as warm as it looks. Pair it over a nice top like this one from Lonny’s, add some bling and your ready for a day at the office or a night out. My dark wash skinny jeans are from Abercrombie and are actually thick making them a great pair for the winter.
Knowing me, I love to add a little ‘Pop Of Color‘ to any outfit, so I decided to introduce these comfy and stylish Calvin Klein burgundy wedged booties that I scored on clearance from Lord & Taylor a month ago. Why do I love these? First off anything with a wedge has a special place in my heart because they add extra height without forgoing on the comfort.

What do I love more than a chic moto jacket? A bright NEON moto jacket! I have to say this outfit is one of my favorites on the blog so far. Karen Kane was so sweet and sent me this lovely jacket and while my family looked at me like how and when will you ever wear that, I was beyond thrilled. Moto Jackets have become quite popular recently and this one, with it’s unique color is totally fun and unexpected!
Wear it for date night, sunday brunch with the girls or simply out and about when your feeling like grabbing a little extra attention. This jacket is a great piece for every fashionistas closet!
I decided to wear it with dark tones for a more ‘punk rock’ look, so I wore it with Hue Vegan Leather Leggings (See ‘Lust vs Must Post on Leather Leggings), a plain tee I scored on clearance at Urban Outfitters years ago, of course my Rebecca Minkoff ‘Mini Mac’ bag and my Coach Lavania Heels!
I love this outfit because it’s fun and refreshing…not to mention I feel totally sexy in it and what girl doesn’t want that?! Add a few sparkly accessories like my Topshop for Nordstrom jewels and your ready for anything!

Brrrr….It’s cold in here there must be some chambray in the atmosphere…sorry I had to do that but anyways, point is, it is freezing and snowing in NYC! Of course these photos were taken when it was actually sunny and bearable outside, but this outfit can be worn for any temperature depending on how you style it.
One of the things I love about Chambray is the fact that you can dress it up or down just by pairing it with different outfits. I love this look, a simple pair of gray Abercrombie pants (while I used to feel Abercrombie was soo middle school, I’m actually loving their pants…they fit great and are always on sale!), a chic faux fur vest from H&M, a simple pair of black shooties from Nine West and to add a little extra ‘Pop Of Color’, a red ‘Mini Mac’ bag from Rebecca Minkoff.
I love adding a little extra color to any outfit…what girl doesn’t want to stand out? Another great thing about this look? It’s makes for a great ‘Day to Night’ transition…after a long day at the office this look is perfect for any happy hour!
On a side note, this is my first post of 2014! I can’t believe it’s already January and already a brand new calendar year…is it just me or did 2013 fly by? Well, one of my New Year’s resolutions? Keep up the blogging and hopefully reach an even bigger audience than I already have!

New Year’s Eve is approaching and that means it’s time to find the perfect ‘midnight’ ensemble. So while I am still not 100% sure on what I’m wearing to ring in 2014, I’m a firm believer that what you wear and how you feel on New Year’s Eve night pre-determines how your 2014 year will go!
Either way, I’m set on looking fabulous! This number is one of my many options. I scored this adorable dress at Macy’s on clearance for $10. I love the cobalt blue accent with the black…gives the classic ‘LBD’ or little black dress a little extra something don’t ya think?
I paired this look with my classic BaubleBar monogram necklace, a timeless piece that will never go out of style because…hello it’s you initials! Add the perfect pair of strappy heels, these are from Coach…like always my pieces have a story and these babies were scored ‘FREE’ at my company’s breast cancer awareness charity event with QVC back in October called ‘Shoes On Sale’….my boss bought each of us 2 pairs of shoes with the money going towards the numerous charities we support!
And to top the look off…of course a a Rebecca Minkoff bag…I love her ‘Mini Mac’ bag. Don’t let the look deceive you, this bag can fit a lot and it lays comfortably over any outfit…it’s the perfect going out bag!
I love this look, just not sure if I’ll be too cold when the ball drops…but who knows, it’s a possibility!
Happy Sunday Funday!
