Move over LBD a new dress trend is in town for the spring…cue the LWD aka Little White Dress! Although I love wearing white year round, with spring comes plenty of special occasions like graduations, Mother’s Day, prom, banquets, weddings and more that all call for a nice simple dress that you can hopefully get more than one day’s wear out of. That was always my challenge. I needed a dress to wear for so many different occasions but I didn’t want it to be so dressy that I could only wear it once or twice. Well with this season’s ‘Little White Dress’ trend…there are plenty of options that can be re-worn year round!

And…it’s Wednesday! The week is at it’s halfway mark and I couldn’t be happier! With this gorgeous spring weather all I want to do is be outside enjoying the sunny vibes so that’s exactly what I did this past weekend…and it just so happened to double as an opportune time to take photos…what can I say I tried to kill two birds with one stone :p
I am still having the struggle of transitioning pieces I loved during the winter into my spring wardrobe, so today’s look is a great way to still wear some of your winter sweaters in warmer temperatures (within reason of course). One way? With cropped skinnies and some bright sunnies and sexy sandals! Nothing transitions pieces like some perfect accessories and footwear right? 😉
What a weekend! I am thrilled to say this is the last of my outfits that was shot with snow on the ground…in fact over the weekend, I was able to shoot tons of new spring looks at the beach…with sand in between my toes (check out my SnapChat to see more — MissyOnMadison) <3 I must say, I definitely have a love/hate relationship with New York/Long Island. I LOVE summers in the Hamptons, long drives out to Montauk and tanning by the pool…but then when winter rolls around I tend to find myself in a bit of a depression having to shovel myself out of feet of snow surrounding my house. It’s tough, it’s nuts and I may be a little cray cray…but for the next few months I will love New York…but come fall no guarantees 😉
However something I will always love…you guessed a ‘Pop Of Color‘ que the blue coat! I literally had to have this coat and when the time came for me to snag it on sale I knew it was meant to be…
We are at the halfway mark…it is Wednesday and the weekend can’t come soon enough. I’m not sure if it’s the weather or if I have just been completely overwhelmed lately, but I have been so exhausted to the point where I find myself half asleep when attempting to blog (sorry if I begin rambling and not making any sense :p) When organizing my iPhoto library (one of the many things on my to-do list) I came across this look shot pre-winter snow and forgot how much I LOVE a black floppy hat.
In the spirit of Coachella this weekend, I definitely plan on incorporating this hat into future spring looks…because this is my mild version of a flower crown haha :p Speaking of Coachella, I really wish I was going to be there this weekend, but no…I get to stay here in rainy NYC #SoNotFair
Definition of a girly girl? Pretty sure it’s me…my picture probably comes up next to the term in Webster’s 😉 I am addicted to color, heels and of course flirty skirts, so it comes as no surprise that for the holiday weekend I decided to share a little pastel number suiting for spring! If there is an excuse to dress up whether it is a nice brunch, lunch or dinner with family or friends, my look always requires a skirt or dress and pumps (no pain no gain right?)
This look reminds me of an Easter egg…white and mint green? Could I incorporate any more spring pastel hues? (ok I probably can but I didn’t it to be over kill…so green and white will do for now). I am excited for this week to be over and for the nice relaxing weekend ahead…although I am both Jewish and Catholic (little fun fact about me) for some reason my family celebrates Easter which basically means we sit around in pajamas and eat a turkey…yea that’s my family for ya 😉
