Definition of a girly girl? Pretty sure it’s me…my picture probably comes up next to the term in Webster’s 😉 I am addicted to color, heels and of course flirty skirts, so it comes as no surprise that for the holiday weekend I decided to share a little pastel number suiting for spring! If there is an excuse to dress up whether it is a nice brunch, lunch or dinner with family or friends, my look always requires a skirt or dress and pumps (no pain no gain right?)
This look reminds me of an Easter egg…white and mint green? Could I incorporate any more spring pastel hues? (ok I probably can but I didn’t it to be over kill…so green and white will do for now). I am excited for this week to be over and for the nice relaxing weekend ahead…although I am both Jewish and Catholic (little fun fact about me) for some reason my family celebrates Easter which basically means we sit around in pajamas and eat a turkey…yea that’s my family for ya 😉
This look pretty much sums up spring trends. You have a ‘pop of color‘ with this mint green blazer (similar) and mint green cami (similar) paired with a white a-line skirt that is perfect for the office (it is so versatile!). All of these pieces can be mixed and matched all season long which is always a good thing, especially when trying to invest in key pieces to last you through the next few months.
My accessories are also great pieces to keep in handy this season. Black aviators, a classic black quilted bag like this Rebecca Minkoff Affair Bag and white pointed toe pumps = Must Haves. I also incorporated a little bling to make a statement with a baby blue necklace (similar).
