Red Robin…

It’s no secret that I have a slight obsession with color…and by color I mean anything that’ll stand out and truly make a statement, maybe even a little pop? 😉 One of my current colors I am crushing on is red…I am on the hunt for a new red bag (if you have any helpful tips or suggestions PLEASE let me know…I can’t seem to find a bag that makes me ‘fall in love’ haha) and here I am wearing a red sweater and red booties in the dead of winter (yes I was freezing while shooting this)!My red pullover sweater was a Target find (hey if I have to wear sweaters all winter long it may as well be a cute one!) and my red suede booties were and Old Navy find (similar here).

With the red comes a hint of black (I love red + black together) so I paired my red pieces with this black Topshop for Nordstrom floppy hat and black skater skirt from Kohls (Both pieces on sale now!)

And of course…the handbag. I am actually selling this ostrich clutch on my Poshmark (here) but found a similar one in a different color from Yes Style (here).

PS I am super excited because I decided to take a last minute trip to Disney for my Birthday (which is Feb.3rd btw)! I can’t wait to escape this cold winter weather and to have some fun with Mickey & Minnie 🙂

New Navy + A New Giveaway…

I think it’s about time for a new giveaway don’t you? Well I needed to bring a little excitement to the cold month of January and what better way to do that than by teaming up with Kameleonz…a fun new brand of sunnies that get this…are interchangeable to match your outfit! What fashionista doesn’t love to have her accessories match her look…including her sunglasses!

When Kameleonz reached out to me about collaborating and hosting a giveaway I had to say YES! I am all about accessories and have become increasingly obsessed with colored sunnies like this green pair named ‘Bali‘ (if only they would actually bring me to Bali…haha!). Pair it with a chic white button down blouse and some simple leggings and you are ready for work or play.

Ok…I have become OBSESSED with over the knee boots…I was unsure at first but once I found these beauties at Nordstrom Rack I fell in love… (similar from Light In The Box here). I think slipping on a pair of over the knee boots instantly adds a sense of sexy and really pulls a look together.

I had to rock a little leopard print once again (this Kelsi Dagger bag has been a current crush of mine).

Now to dish on these awesome sunnies…What is cool about these Kameleonz sunnies is that the side pieces are interchangeable. So the sunglasses are sold in sets and can have the side pieces changed amongst 3 different colors to in a way ‘reinvent‘ their look to match your look!

Lush Lashes With Lanakin…

It’s a rainy Sunday here on Long Island which is kinda cramping my style when it comes to shooting new looks for the site. My brother aka my photographer is sick…the weather is miserable, so what is a gal to do? Play around with beauty products of course!

Friday Night White…

Ok, yes…I am making a fashion ‘~~faux pas~~‘ today by wearing white in the dead of winter…especially with a light wash chambray shirt (gasp) I am getting a ~~little~~ crazy…what can I say 😉 I simply LOVE white jeans and pairing it with this light wash chambray shirt makes for the perfect combo for a Friday night. Whether it’s heading to the movies, the bar or even dinner…I love a great casual look that isn’t ‘plain’ or ‘sloppy’ looking…I call this…dressed up yet dressed down.My white jeans are from Old Navy but Charlotte Russe has great ones (which I actually ordered whilst I was writing this post haha) for under $30 here. My light wash chambray shirt was an H&M clearance find forever ago (PS a little secret about this shirt…it constantly has to be steamed but I kinda refuse to do so…oops…just adds to it’s ‘casual’ vibe).So this Gucci ‘Soho Tote’ is actually my mom’s which she so kindly let’s me borrow from time to time…although I have my new Gucci ‘Soho Work Tote‘ that I’ve worn before (if you missed it I wore it here) I still have a thing for this bag as well #GucciAddict #SavingForAnother (#SorryNotSorry)!Anytime I wear white pants I feel it is almost necessary to go with a nude shoe and since we are trying to make a chambray top and white jeans a bit ‘dressy‘, why not pair the look with nude suede open toe booties like these ones from Nine West.Now don’t ~~judge~~ me but I actually ended up coincidentally wearing this look tonight (I am currently writing this post at 1am…and I know I will regret this in the morning but oh well) I went out, I lived a little and I wore white…| Click To Shop My Look |

Polka Dot Throwback…

It’s #ThrowbackThursday everyone which gives me the fair and equal right to share this look that was shot back in August with you guys today 😉 (I love how #TBT makes it ok to share old things and make them new…don’t you?!) Ok so let’s get down to business because I am writing this while cracking up hysterical at George Lopez on WWHL (such a Bravo addict…#SorryNotSorry) and need to attempt to get some R & R to properly function at work (insert monkey emoji covering it’s eyes here lol)I love everything about this look because it is truly ‘Missy’ in a nutshell…it’s girly, includes my favorite white boyfriend blazer, my signature Rebecca Minkoff mini mac bag and of course…a skater skirt!My white boyfriend blazer is from LC By Lauren Conrad but I found an identical blazer on sale for under $30 at SheInside here. Any excuse to wear a skirt is fine by me…especially one with a flirty print like this polka dot one (available from Choies here).My Rebecca Minkoff mini mac bag is another one of my signature “go to’s” when I am ~~unsure~~ of what to wear for a date, a girls’ night or even just to run errands. And…with a good bag comes even better shoes…enter these NYLA beauties (available on my Poshmark here).
