Brrrrr…It is FREEZING here in New York and yesterday we had our first real snow fall of the season which naturally I was ill equipped for. Commuting to work everyone work snow boots and hats…me? I wore slip on sneakers and left the hat at home (I tend to never dress weather appropriate what can I say). Today’s post was shot a few days before Christmas but I actually for once dressed warm enough that I wasn’t shivering cold while shooting! So I am making progress slowly but surely 😉And yes…it’s winter and I am wearing white (despite the fashion rule ‘No White After Labor Day’ I wear white skinny jeans ALL the time!) Today’s look is simple and easy…perfect for work AND play! A tan button down cardigan is a winter ‘must have’, it’s ideal for layering plus it’s an easy no brainer to throw on in the morning over a blouse when it’s chilly.I have become slightly obsessed with scarves this winter and the one I am wearing today is my FAVORITE! I love the plaid design and the fringed ends…it’s so warm and cozy it feels like home <3Now to break down the shoes, bag + sunnies. I got these J Crew sunglasses a few months ago and love them as a great alternative to my usual go to sunnies…my mirrored aviators. These C Wonder block heel booties are the most comfortable boots I own. The stacked block heel adds extra support and the rubber bottoms make them super easy to walk in (something that is quite important when commuting into NYC).
