Happy Humpday Lovers! I am having a slight princess moment today with this outfit post. I love to switch up my shooting locations from time to time but this little spot (which is far from little by the way) is a modern day castle on Long Island…the Vanderbilt Museum and Mansion. The museum and grounds are gorgeous and house a planetarium and a marine museum (currently under construction) in addition to the beautiful architecture and landscape. Everytime I visit, I dream of one day living on such a palacial estate (hey a girl can dream right?) In addition to dreaming of living at this mansion, another dream of mine was played out in this post…wearing a ‘runway’ collection, except it isn’t from the tents at NYFW but rather the Elle Runway Collection from Kohls! My J’adore sweater and printed pencil skirt are both from this collection and I layered an LC By Lauren Conrad blazer over them.My shoes are Valentino Rockstud inspired pumps (so yes, I will continue to dream about owning the real ones…this post is all about dreams I suppose). Happy Monday Loves! I once again am beating Monday blues with a little…Blue! I am OBSESSED with the whole moto jacket trend for fall…and I love it even more when I can find great ones at an affordable price like this powder blue moto jacket from Apt.9 at Kohls! Never doubt the possibility of finding a great trend piece for less without forgoing on quality 😉 So time to reveal a little secret…A few people have asked on here and on instagram about if the weather where I am is still warm…well no not really haha. My brother shoots my outfits and we tend to shoot a bunch of looks at a time so I have looks I’ve shot in the warmer weather that will be sprinkled in amongst colder weather looks on the blog. I definitely couldn’t have rocked this skirt ensemble yesterday because it was FREEZING on Long Island…I only got one outfit shot because I was too chicken to fight the cold…pretty sure I’m meant to be in warmer climate lol (insert monkey covering eyes emoji here)Now let’s break down the look…My white crop top is from J Lo for Kohls and you can score it now for…drum roll please $4! YES $4. Dress it up, dress it down and wear it season to season. And I made it perfect for fall by layering the moto jacket and adding a cute black floppy hat. A simple black scuba skirt is always a sure bet to tie a look together and the best part is that it is a transitional piece to wear year round.I had to have my traditional ‘Pop Of Color’ by adding this magenta Rayne necklace from Kendra Scott…what better way to bring summer into the fall / winter.These black suede boots have been an absolute life saver when it comes to easily feeling sexy in the cold fall weather. TGIF Loves! What a week…between starting bartending classes, working on new blog projects and prepping for a busy weekend in NYC (I’m attending Simply Stylist and a blogger brunch!), I have been swamped! Did you know how many different types of shots there are? Because trust me…I sure as ~~hell~~ didn’t know there were shots named ‘Girl Scout Cookie’ or ‘China White’ but I’m learning slowly but surely…when I called to register for the course, I told the instructor I rarely drink (rare for a 22 year old I know) his response? Don’t worry my classes will drive you to drink…lol…quite the sense of humor let me tell ya!Today’s Lord & Taylor look is one that you can wear to the bar, club or just out to dinner…whatever your Friday night adventure is…this look is sure to turn heads. I am never one to shy away from showing a little leg, so this white quilted mini skirt is not just comfortable but also sexy for a night out. Once again rocking my Kendra Scott druszy ring…the perfect jewel to wear to make a statement any time! I am obsessed with this black faux leather top, also from Lord & Taylor. It’s sexy, stylish and super comfortable…a win/win for all! Now to break down my lower half…my nude chain crossbody bag is from Coach, but I found a similar bag from Tory Burch (I also found a similar bag from Vince Camuto on sale at Bloomingdales here). I love an oversized gold cuff to add a little something to any outfit. I’m not sure who makes this cuff or even where I got it…that’s what happens when your wardrobe can no longer even fit in your room…oops (insert monkey emoji covering it’s eyes here). My nude open toe booties are actually from the Simply Vera Vera Wang collection at Kohls…unfortunately they are from over a year ago and are no longer available, so I found a similar style from Chinese Laundry here. My necklaces are both from Nordstrom…similar styles I found are here (star necklace) & here (skull necklace) & my mirrored aviators are here (get them on sale this weekend at Bloomingdales). Now I’m off to go learn some more cocktails and a little flair 😉 Wish me luck…I’m a total clutz…I really picked a fun adventure to begin didn’t I!

Metallic Hues & Cobalt Blues…

Happy Wednesday Loves! This look features two of my favorite fall trends…cobalt blue and metallic…what more can a fashionista ask for? The lovely team at ShopMieux sent me these Zara metallic blue platform heels which are super comfortable and the perfect night out shoe (similar from ASOS here). I figured why stop the metallic moment at my footwear…why not add a metallic bag as well like my silver clutch from Carolinna Espinosa (similar from ShopBop here…use code FRIENDS25 for 25% off your purchase!). Now that we broke the metallics down…let’s get to the rest of this Humpday ensemble 😉 My cobalt blue blouse is from LC By Lauren Conrad AND you can score it now from my closet on Poshmark for a fraction of the cost! Like I mentioned earlier, from the bag to the shoes…I am loving metallic for fall…can you blame me? Metallic accessories, in my opinion really pull the look together…they add a little sparkle and shine (as if the sleeves on this top didn’t have enough of it..) and they can match with almost anything! My black scuba skirt is from Target, but I found a similar one available now from Nordstrom here. And to stay within the blue hues…mirrored aviators, my go to accessory! A little fun fact…while shooting this look at my local Tanger Outlets (what can I say why not shop & shoot at the same time haha!) a group of guys walked by and screamed out ‘Looking Good’ as I’m sitting there pretending to be a model…my brother aka my photographer just shook his head in embarrassment…sibling love at it’s finest 🙂Shop My Look<3
