Happy Thanksgiving Loves! Time for some turkey, family time and of course shopping! I can’t believe how Black Friday now became something that starts on Thanksgiving so get ready, get set and start shopping…beginning with my super glammed up look here 😉 Hey why not look spectacular while eating five thousand calories in one sitting right?! My shaggy coat is the perfect holiday gift because A) it’s warm and B) it’s stunning duh! I love it <3 Super snuggly and it’s just the proper dose of glam any look requires. Under my shaggy coat is a simple white Old Navy sweater…a piece that every fashionista needs. As if my shaggy coat wasn’t snazzing up the look enough…I had to add a dash of Carrie Bradshaw with a tulle skirt…this time it’s in black so it can actually be worn for any occasion without seeming ‘Sex and the City’ esq like it looked in pink in my ‘J’adore Friday‘ post here.Can’t go wrong with a little bling 😉 You can shop some of my pieces from my Gift Guide here!I’m wearing my ever favorite Rebecca Minkoff ‘Affair’ Bag…and ladies this makes the PERFECT holiday gift for the fashion lover in your life. Happy Friday Lovers! Today I’m ‘Back Packing’ and I am not talking about through Europe…I’m referring to this fabulous suede back pack from Last Call Neiman Marcus. After leaving elementary school oh so many years ago, I definitely never planned on rocking the one strap back pack again in this life time…and yes the only wear to rock a back pack is with the one strap…who two straps anymore, for real? 😉 Well I fell in love with this little knapsack when I spotted it while shopping for shoes (I always get distracted while shopping…oops…typical girl problem). Back to my first topic…back packing through Europe…while I love to travel and hopefully I will get to do more of it in the years to come (can you say New Years Resolution anyone?) One thing I am truly terrified about is back packing through Europe…I suppose I’ve seen one too many horror flicks and am convinced that I would get into some tragic mess if I actually conquered some courage and went for it…so for now rocking a back pack is the first step haha!My top and skirt are both from BCBG at Lord & Taylor. I love the whole A-Symmetrical skirt trend for fall (even if I will be freezing in it) and why not be matchy matchy with a chic cropped top like this one. I dressed down these pieces in this post but I actually dressed them up a few weeks ago here.My baby blue faux leather moto jacket is actually from Kohls…like I tell everyone, don’t under estimate affordable fashion…anything is possible…like this amazing jacket! So like I mentioned my back pack is from Last Call Neiman Marcus and you can shop it here (on sale now!) Then to make this look real old school…some chuck taylors! I have had these silver converse for years and figured I’d let them see the light of day once again 😉 While these ones are no longer available I found similar pairs here + here. Rebel With A Pop…

Happy Monday Lovers! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend filled with fun, relaxation and maybe like mine…a little shopping (oops…that whole saving thing…kind of a challenge for me…who is with me?). So after rebelling against my mom aka my financial advisor’s wishes of me working on saving money (did I mention I made some stops at Target, Nordstrom & Old Navy?) I figured let the rebellious behavior continue with this ‘Rebel tee‘ from Old Navy! I actually came across this outfit shoot in my iPhoto library from August! My brother and I often shoot a bunch of looks at once since we both have such busy schedules during the week to try and shoot each look daily. So although this was shot in August, this can be the perfect fall ensemble for a night out or a dressed up weekend day look. My rebel tee is from Old Navy here. I paired with with a chic white boyfriend blazer like this one here. Fall is the season of leather, vegan leather and faux leather…so I had to rock my favorite Hue leatherette leggings available here. Now to break down my favorite part of any outfit…the bag and shoes!My bag is by BCBG and it is the ‘Pop’ in the title of this post…always need a great ‘Pop Of Color’ to brighten up any look no matter what the occasion or the season. While this style is no longer available, I found a similar clutch from BCBG at Lord & Taylor on SALE now here.My heels are from the Prabal Gurung for Target collection…a bit of a throwback so since they are no longer able to be purchased, I found a practically identical pair from Nine West here. What I love about this look is that it’s a simple tee that just got dressed up by adding a simple blazer and leather leggings…my two must haves for this fall season.| Click To Shop |

Day To Night…

TGIF Lovers! I’m happy to share a new ‘Day To Night’ transition look today because 9 out of 10 times the first thing I’m doing after a long day at work is heading to happy hour or a little dinner with the girls. When rushing around (especially in NYC) or even Long Island for that matter, I sometimes don’t have time to change into something different than what I wore earlier in the day…case and point, this outfit here 🙂I love everything about this look head to toe because I feel comfortable, confident and sexy in it all at the same time…something that not every outfit could provide. While everyone typically opts for a traditional black blazer for a day at the office or even a night out, I always love to think outside the box and rock white. This white boyfriend blazer is the perfect fit and can go from day to night…what’s better than that.To add even more color I wore a cropped purple cami like this one. It is a nice silk material and looks like a professional blouse when worn under a blazer so it is office appropriate or happy hour ready. While black distressed skinny jeans are ok for casual Friday in some offices, I know they aren’t widely accepted everywhere so an easy fix is to just rock non-distressed black skinny jeans like these (on sale now at Banana Republic) or black skinny dress pants like these…if you can do distressed I highly suggest these ones from TopShop.My bling is simple and layered…just the way I like it. Not too much for the board room yet trendy enough for an early evening outing. While both pieces are no longer available at their perspective retailers, I found a simple elephant necklace here + horizontal bar necklace here. Midi-Rings are here + here.The Rebecca Minkoff Affair Bag is my go to bag for going out. It’s not too small but not too big…it’s just right 😉 My shoes are not Valentino Rockstud Pumps although they look pretty similar! Happy Thursday Lovers! This was another outfit shot at my favorite Long Island back drop…the Vanderbilt Museum / Mansion. I’ve visited the grounds a few times now and every time I go it’s always picture perfect. I’m ready to instagram, pose and do typical ‘blogger’ things as some of my friends and family like to say I do whenever I visit the Vanderbilt Mansion. Well, this little look was no exception. I actually saw a few other bloggers style a maxi dress (which is traditionally a summer piece) for fall and I was inspired to do the same…hey any blogger who claims they are 100% original and don’t get ideas from stylists, bloggers or celebrities is totally lying…the world of fashion is a vast wonderland just waiting to be explored…similar to Long Island, which I’m uncovering one outfit at a time 😉I honestly can’t remember where I snagged this black ‘high-low’ maxi dress, but I found similar options here + here. The perfect way to make this common summer item and make it fall fabulous? With a cable knit sweater of course! I’m in LOVE like lust into love with this LC By Lauren Conrad Cable Knit Sweater from Kohls which is on sale NOW here.Now no look is complete without the perfect bag and shoes so here it goes…Yes, I have worn these taupe booties that I found at Marshalls a few times on the blog (here + here + here)…yeah they have become my fall staple shoe. My bag (which you can shop in my Poshmark closet here) is from Lord & Taylor (no longer available). I love a pop of color as you all know so here are two great blue quilted chain bags here + here.
