Happy Monday Loves! I once again am beating Monday blues with a little…Blue! I am OBSESSED with the whole moto jacket trend for fall…and I love it even more when I can find great ones at an affordable price like this powder blue moto jacket from Apt.9 at Kohls! Never doubt the possibility of finding a great trend piece for less without forgoing on quality 😉 So time to reveal a little secret…A few people have asked on here and on instagram about if the weather where I am is still warm…well no not really haha. My brother shoots my outfits and we tend to shoot a bunch of looks at a time so I have looks I’ve shot in the warmer weather that will be sprinkled in amongst colder weather looks on the blog. I definitely couldn’t have rocked this skirt ensemble yesterday because it was FREEZING on Long Island…I only got one outfit shot because I was too chicken to fight the cold…pretty sure I’m meant to be in warmer climate lol (insert monkey covering eyes emoji here)Now let’s break down the look…My white crop top is from J Lo for Kohls and you can score it now for…drum roll please $4! YES $4. Dress it up, dress it down and wear it season to season. And I made it perfect for fall by layering the moto jacket and adding a cute black floppy hat. A simple black scuba skirt is always a sure bet to tie a look together and the best part is that it is a transitional piece to wear year round.I had to have my traditional ‘Pop Of Color’ by adding this magenta Rayne necklace from Kendra Scott…what better way to bring summer into the fall / winter.These black suede boots have been an absolute life saver when it comes to easily feeling sexy in the cold fall weather. Happy Thursday Lovers! Yes, I realize tomorrow is Halloween and it is far into fall, but sorry I’m not giving up my neon obsession! Today I color coordinated my neon Harlow necklace form Kendra Scott with my neon yellow Cambridge Satchel bag…the only way to wear neon right?A little fun fact about me? I absolutely love and live in skirts and dresses…so it can be the dead of winter and I would most likely attempt to rock a look like this…not the most practical but hey sometimes practical is boring if you ask me 😉 The lovely team at Kendra Scott sent me this Harlow necklace which I instantly fell in love with…I bet you can see why. Coincidentally it ended up matching my neon Cambridge Satchel…I’m actually selling it on Poshmark now because although I love neon and this bag…I rarely get to give it all of the face time it deserves…you can shop it here.I LOVE nude ankle strap heels for fall, spring, summer or simply anytime (except for in the snow…that may be a little too much for me to handle haha). I got these beauties at Payless but found a similar pair from 6pm.com here.This initial cuff from C Wonder is not only a great piece for every fashionista to have, but it is the PERFECT gift idea (hint, hint) for your mom, sister, boss, co-worker or your best friend! Who doesn’t love a simple yet chic piece of bling!Now for my ensemble…my purple crop cami top is from ASOS (you can score it now on sale for $10…amazing!). My quilted gray mini skirt is a clearance find from Lord & Taylor and you can shop it here (dress it up like I did or dress it down with some sneakers for a casual look). Finally, my favorite ever go to blazer…LC Lauren Conrad at Kohls…I turn to my white blazer more often times than I do my black blazer. TGIF Loves! What a week…between starting bartending classes, working on new blog projects and prepping for a busy weekend in NYC (I’m attending Simply Stylist and a blogger brunch!), I have been swamped! Did you know how many different types of shots there are? Because trust me…I sure as ~~hell~~ didn’t know there were shots named ‘Girl Scout Cookie’ or ‘China White’ but I’m learning slowly but surely…when I called to register for the course, I told the instructor I rarely drink (rare for a 22 year old I know) his response? Don’t worry my classes will drive you to drink…lol…quite the sense of humor let me tell ya!Today’s Lord & Taylor look is one that you can wear to the bar, club or just out to dinner…whatever your Friday night adventure is…this look is sure to turn heads. I am never one to shy away from showing a little leg, so this white quilted mini skirt is not just comfortable but also sexy for a night out. Once again rocking my Kendra Scott druszy ring…the perfect jewel to wear to make a statement any time! I am obsessed with this black faux leather top, also from Lord & Taylor. It’s sexy, stylish and super comfortable…a win/win for all! Now to break down my lower half…my nude chain crossbody bag is from Coach, but I found a similar bag from Tory Burch (I also found a similar bag from Vince Camuto on sale at Bloomingdales here). I love an oversized gold cuff to add a little something to any outfit. I’m not sure who makes this cuff or even where I got it…that’s what happens when your wardrobe can no longer even fit in your room…oops (insert monkey emoji covering it’s eyes here). My nude open toe booties are actually from the Simply Vera Vera Wang collection at Kohls…unfortunately they are from over a year ago and are no longer available, so I found a similar style from Chinese Laundry here. My necklaces are both from Nordstrom…similar styles I found are here (star necklace) & here (skull necklace) & my mirrored aviators are here (get them on sale this weekend at Bloomingdales). Now I’m off to go learn some more cocktails and a little flair 😉 Wish me luck…I’m a total clutz…I really picked a fun adventure to begin didn’t I!

Happy Monday Lovers! I had quite a busy weekend filled with outfit shoots, Long Island adventures and some fun new blog concepts…but I think I should run some of them by you guys to see what you think…but first let’s break down this little look I’m rocking today. Gingham is a great print for fall…especially when it’s affordable like this button down top from Target. My top and pale pink skirt are both Target Style finds…now that’s guilt free shopping! What I love about gingham is that you can dress it up or dress it down depending on the occasion…I love it layered with jeans for a casual look or for a more dressed up look, simply pair it with a light weight skirt like I did here. My monogrammed clutch is from GiGi NY and it comes it countless hues and is a great going out back that adds a pop of color to any ensemble. Pale pink pumps?…Umm yes! These beauties are from NYLA…unfortunately they are a bit too small on me so you can actually score these straight from my Poshmark closet for a fraction of the actual retail cost. Once again rocking my Kendra Scott druszy ring…I think I am slightly obsessed…oops! Now to share my idea with you guys…it seems that the wave of the future or rather now is being a video ~~vixen~~ (not in THAT way…) but rather stepping in front of the camera and chatting away rather than just taking pretty pictures. So after some talking with my brother aka my photographer we came up with an idea of doing an ongoing video series to accompany my blog…what do you guys think? Are videos the way to go? What kind of videos would you like to see?! Happy Thursday Loves! I couldn’t wait to share this look with you guys because it features two fabulous designers whom have become insanely popular the past couple of years…Kendra Scott & Carolinna Espinosa. What really pulls a look together are A) Killer Accessories & B) Fabulous Footwear…these brands have got A & B well covered 😉 In addition to my fabulous accessories, some simple yet chic clothes were a must and oddly enough they stem from the same designer. My boxy top is from BCBGeneration and my black textured skirt is from BCBGMaxAzria. Both pieces are super comfortable, versatile and flatter any figure. My yellow statement necklace is the ‘Harlow’ piece from Kendra Scott which they sent me after I professed my neon obsession…one of the many reasons I love Kendra Scott…they never shy away from bright, bold colors!Carolinna Espinosa makes exquisite shoes that are not only stylish but comfortable as well. I’ve gotten so much wear out of these ‘Allentown’ sandals they sent me back in the spring. From season to season, these beauties have gone with every ensemble. I’ve visited the gorgeous Carolinna Espinosa showroom a few times and at one of their press previews, they gifted us this great metallic clutch…unfortunately they aren’t selling it but I found a similar one here.Going through these photos, I fell in love with the shot above. Blogging has made me even more self conscious about how I look at all times…think about it, all eyes are on you at all times…but as the title of this post goes…brick by brick, nail by nail, blogging has pushed me to constantly keep building myself up to the best me I could be!Shop My Look<3
