Top O’ the morning to ya and Happy St. Patricks Day! What better way to show a little green than with one of these picks from my spring trend guide?! Last week I shared some of my go to spring footwear (which all retail for under $150…yes…spring footwear that is affordable!) but today’s shopping guide is all about that green. I love color year round, and normally I gravitate towards blue, pink or red, but I am slowly beginning to embrace green as well.
Sometimes what truly pulls a look together is some chic bling and I have become OBSESSED with rings…midi rings, statement rings, knuckle rings + more…pretty much the more bling the better. So I decided to share some of the pieces I am lusting after (naturally a few of them I turned from Lust to Must but hey it happens…right? :p)

Fashion Week is exhausting, draining, long and fun? Yes, I know every gal dies to go to NYFW (hey I still have butterflies every time I get to go to a show) but let me tell ya…it is rough during fashion week…especially with these freezing temperatures. Nonetheless, I have a little recap of what I’ve went to so far (I’ve been limiting the schedule down a bit due to work and my lack of wanting to go anywhere in this weather). On Friday I popped by the Kendra Scott showroom to check out the new spring and summer collections (I even got a sneak peek at fall). Kendra Scott just gets me…with all of the bright colors and now the ability to layer dainty and simple pieces…I want absolutely everything #ShoppingAddict (yea let’s just say some new Kendra Scott jewels will be making it to the blog in the near future). P.S. Can you guess what is inside? (stay tuned)Friday night I headed to Lincoln Center, the mecca of all things fashion week for the Charlotte Ronson presentation. Naturally I was exhausted, freezing and just wanted to go in, snap some pics and leave but I got a little pep in my step when I got to meet one of my instagram pals in person, Cameron Silver aka the man behind the gray pumps with pink soles I love that I wore in yesterday’s post (if you missed it check it out here). I was waiting on line for the show and then all of a sudden I look up and bam it’s Cameron and recognized ‘Missy’ right away…I felt semi insta famous for a moment (simple things thrill me).And yesterday I went to the Dennis Basso show…filled with plenty of fur and stunning gowns. I wanted each and every piece from the show…although I wouldn’t nearly have enough room to fit it all #oops!Since none of the runway fashions shown in these photos are ‘shoppable’ yet, here are some pieces I want mean while from Dennis Basso, Kendra Scott + Charlotte Ronson.
Happy Wednesday Lovers! So it may be rainy and cold this week but I discovered a way to brighten things up around here…with a colorful outfit post…duh! Contrary to popular belief neon isn’t just for summer…case and point…this look 😉 I can never have too much color in my wardrobe…it’s what makes me me! I based this whole look off of two fabulous pieces…1) This neon Kendra Scott Necklace + 2) This Neiman Marcus cobalt blue tote…both of which I am in LOVE with <3 My shoes remind me of Chanel…why? Because they are classic tweed except with a twist…an open toe! (P.S. I am selling them on my Poshmarkhere) They are comfortable, classy and are perfect for the office…year round!Now for the rest of the look…I had a thing for quilted in this post. Black quilted vest, gray quilted skirt…I just love quilted stitching…it’s timeless and always looks ‘put together’.To make the look a little different, I opted for a chambray button down (this one from Gilt is great)…I kinda had a thing for blue hues if you couldn’t already tell…speaking of…Yup, mirrored aviators…something every gal is after AND they make an awesome holiday gift for gals of all ages! My sister is 14 and is obsessed with her Ray Bans and my mom can even be seen rocking a pair from time to time…what does this tell us? Mirrored aviators…a holiday MUST! I wish the weather was warmer so that I could actually rock this colorful number but hey for now I will accept just sharing it with you 🙂 BTW as I am writing this I am watching the first episode of Bravo’s new series ‘Girlfriends Guide To Divorce’…and I am OBSESSED. Happy Tuesday lovers I am finally facing reality that I need to accept that the weather on Long Island and in the Big Apple is cold…so that means time for some serious fall outfits…like this flannel one from Old Navy! I am loving flannel for fall…real innovative I know, but another thing I am especially obsessed with this fall…Old Navy and no they aren’t sponsoring this post, I just have a slight addiction to their sales, deals and steals. They have tons of different flannel button downs all on sale for 30% off till tomorrow with code ‘SAVE‘ (on top of the already reduced prices!)…Can you say time to shop?!My black quilted vest was an Old Navy find as well except it is from last year and no longer available, so I found a similar one from Banana Republic that is just if not more amazing here. I also have a thing for a little faux leather for fall…these Lysse faux leather trim leggings are not just comfortable but also can be dressed up or down for a day to night look, plus these look mint with flannel don’t ya think? 😉 Had to of course include a little sparkle with this Kendra Scott Druszy ring…I swear this was one of the best blogger gifts I have ever received. I had to add a pop of color to this black and white look with this Olivia & Joy bag available in black and red! I switched up my watch game with this post by opting for a little silver rather than my ever favorite gold link watch…but I think I will have to start wearing this silver one a lot more.My shoes are actually from Payless, but I found a similar pair from Dolce Vita here.
