♥ Happy Tuesday Ya’ll ♥

I hope you all had a great Labor Day weekend! I got plenty of rest + actually a ton of work accomplished thanks to having a clear inbox hehe :p Usually holiday weekends would give me an excuse to pig out + over eat, which would then be followed by guilt + plenty of bloating afterwards. This past weekend was far from that case. Why? Because for the past 6 weeks, I have been taking care of myself, my weight + my health by joining the Jenny Craig Rapid Results program!

ICYMI – I have been struggling with my weight ever since I was a kid. I tried tons of fad diets, medication etc + none of it was a long term solution, so when I discovered Jenny Craig + how easy the program is to incorporate into your life I was on board.

Rather than go into a lengthy story about my weight loss struggles, I think we should just dive right into how Jenny Craig has already changed my life, my daily routine + my confidence in myself in just 6 weeks! Yes…SIX weeks people! This is my first installment of my Jenny Journey Journal.

When you take the first step towards your Jenny Craig journey, you are set up with a consultant who will go over your weight loss goals, your fears, thoughts, concerns etc. Basically your best friend for weight loss (I LOVE my consultant Barbara who I chat with once a week on the phone).

Based on my goals of wanting to loose between 60-80 pounds, they suggested I do the Rapid Results program, it provides results you can see + feel in no time.

What makes Jenny Craig different from other weight loss programs is that it takes the guess work out of how to loose weight. While in the past I had to count calories, meal prep + try to figure out what I should and shouldn’t be eating on a daily basis, Jenny Craig handles all of that for me!!

Every 2 weeks Jenny Craig delivers you ALL the food you need to achieve your weight loss goals. Their chefs count the calories, sugar, fiber + all the other important factors for you and create delicious meals that will seem the farthest thing from your typical diet.

What I love about Jenny Craig is that it is fool proof. Every delivery comes with your yummy food + menu that you follow step by step for success. Everyday you weigh yourself to hold yourself accountable + keep yourself on track to achieve your goals!

The food is so good – like no joke guys, it isn’t eating rice cakes + kale (ewww I always hated that part of dieting :p). On Jenny Craig, I get to eat pizza, chocolate cake, pancakes + more! I am not kidding…with Jenny Craig it is all about portion control. I find myself over time being less + less hungry because I get to eat 6 times a day (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner + snacks in between) and my stomach has trained itself to accept the lower calorie intake.

The food is all delivered frozen, just pop it in the microwave + BAM you are ready to go. No guessing, no cooking, no calorie counting…just eating :p

If you don’t believe me, scroll back up to the first image in this post…that is one of my Jenny Craig breakfast meals…waffles with syrup paired with fruit! How yummy does that look?!

Now to the fun part, my take on the program so far!

In just under 6 weeks I have lost 16 pounds!!!

(this is a little above average for the Rapid Results program) Average weight lost in study was 11.6 pounds in the first 4 weeks for those who completed the program.

Never before did I see results so quickly without weight loss pills or starving myself etc. Just seeing these exciting results in such a short time frame has made me feel like I can accomplish my weight loss goals because every day I see the number on the scale decreasing. It is truly the best feeling!
