A girls weekend is always a great way to get away, explore a new place and have some fun…especially some fun in the sun. This past weekend, Ali and I headed to Palm Springs to embrace the ‘Coachella‘ desert vibes, soak up some sun and of course hang in the pool with our fav friends…these fun inflatables duh! I have seen every blogger post photos with the inflatable swan or donut, so I found a few more of my favorites because hey the summer is still going strong and these babies need to be added to your pool party right? 😉
Happy Monday Loves! This photo depicts my weekend to a T…lounging by the pool! I hope all you lovelies had a fantastic Fourth Of July Weekend, I know I sure did. I spent almost everyday at the beach or in the pool…what more can a gal ask for?!One of my favorite things about summer is slipping in to a neon bikini and getting my tan on by the pool. This yellow neon top is from Old Navy. So many girls are asking me for the best bikini deals and I always say Target and Old Navy…every season those are my go to’s and they never disappoint. Now to get to my bling. I am wearing something old, something new, something borrowed (kinda) and something blue. Ok, my cobalt blue nail polish is called ‘Butler Please‘ from Essie, it seems to be a huge hit. Some of my bling is from Tiffany, Macy’s and Ariel Gordon Jewelry! And this fabulous beaded bracelet along with a beaded ankle bracelet below is from Sandrea Jewels! They are handmade on Long Island (I love supporting fellow Long Islanders) and they are the perfect poolside or beach accessory. They were so sweet and gifted me this bracelet and the ankle bracelet below…AND they gave me an extra ankle bracelet to give away to one lucky reader! Happy Monday loves! Time for another busy week of blogging, work and appointments, but I’m still reminiscing about how fabulous this past weekend was! The weather was great and my outfits…casual yet chic in Soho 🙂 I decided to rock my first ever ‘Maxi’ type piece…shocking I know. Since I’m 5’3 I usually have a hard time wearing longer lengths, but I spotted this skirt at Nordstrom Rack and totally gave in!I’m once again wearing my Dominie Luxury Jelly Tote…this bag has been a huge hit. Ladies everywhere are asking me where I got it, how much and what designer is it. Well…it’s from Dominie Luxury in California…it costs $147 and is the perfect summer bag! My shoes were a great Payless find during their huge sandal sale…you know I can never turn down a sale…especially on shoes! These wedges are totally comfy and cute…perfect summer combo ladies 🙂Aren’t they great? I think I will be living in these all summer! And while I embraced the maxi skirt trend, I always reverted back to Chambray and layered a simple chambray button down over the skirt for the ultimate casual weekend look 🙂 I got lucky with Nordstrom Rack…my top and skirt are both from their clearance racks!

Happy June Everyone! Can’t believe it’s officially a summer month! What better way to ring in summer than with a look at some fab swimwear and jewels from the Bikini Alchemy rooftop bash at the Hudson Hotel in NYC! I loved their beach inspired set up and all their fab pieces…I think I have some shopping to do 😉
I fell in love with this piece the second I saw it! I loved all the swimwear at the event, but this piece reminded me of something Mara Hoffman would create and I’m simply obsessed with her style and design! While there was tons of swimwear at the event (kinda obvious given the name!) there was also some great jewels and sunnies from Bash and Bow in NYC! They have amazing accessories at low prices…just what every fashionista needs 🙂 Like I said, I loveddddd the cute decorations everywhere…they totally put me in the summer mood minus the random rain showers we had throughout the day in NYC! As always, it was another fun weekend of blogging events, outfit shoots and of course some R & R 🙂

Weekend Time = Game Time! Happy Weekend Loves! I decided to actually take advantage of our sport court for this little look. I dug my silver Chuck Taylor’s out from the back of my closet and decided to pair them with a preppy button down from Target and some simple denim shorts for a little outdoor fun! It’s rare that I anyone in our family gets out and uses the court (busy schedules mean less tennis playing time) and when we do…or at least when I do, I’m not afraid to admit I am far from coordinated when it comes to the game of tennis 🙂
