So LWD (little white dress) season is almost over…and every season is ideal for a LBD (little black dress), so I think that makes fall the perfect time for the LGD…Little Gray Dress…yup I am starting a trend…just wait for that to catch on 😉 Other than sharing my love for this easy and casual dress from Liz and Honey (pretty much my favorite online boutique at the moment btw — loving all the abbreviations today haha) I am also excited to share that I will be hosting the Fall Preview Party on the Poshmark App tonight! I love a good party + making money while doing it…don’t you? I am a tad of a Poshmark addict and if you have no clue what I am talking about read on…because it’s a perfect way to clean out your closet + make room for great fall styles you are lusting after! And the weekend is over…time to embark on a new week and hopefully that involves (plenty) of green tea, some exciting packages (I may or may not have done a little online shopping this weekend — #oops…only way to see is on SnapChat – MissyOnMadison) + getting some work done (that’s kinda required I guess huh :p). If you weren’t already aware, I am slightlyaddicted to green tea and my addiction got even worse over the weekend, when I headed to Costco and I spotted their citrus green tea which if you haven’t tried it, you are missing out because it is literally the most AMAZING green tea I have ever had (thanks mom :p)! My mom is always trying to get me to save money and be on a budget but in my mind…if it’s on sale I saved money duh hehe Well, in her never ending battle to get me to save money she suggested I try the Costco brand green tea to cut out my daily Starbucks expenditure (after doubting her, I gave in and got the tea)…best purchase I made this weekend…actually it was the best thing that happened to me this weekend…let’s just say I had the most awkward date ever and pretty much contemplated walking out on it (this was an absolute first)…but onto a lighter subject haha…my outfit 😉
Bright colors always make me happy…after being sick in bed for the past two days I am finally feeling a little better (and let me tell ya I am quite the drama queen when it comes to me being sick) and am ready to get back into my groove (whatever that may be haha). Nothing is worse than being cooped up in bed on a 90 degree day (especially after such a brutal winter) but I guess my body didn’t agree with me. So naturally I would share a bright new outfit as a little ‘pick me up‘ to me and you because let’s be real by the time Wednesday rolls around everyone needs a little pep in their step to make their way to the weekend 😉
And…it’s Wednesday! The week is at it’s halfway mark and I couldn’t be happier! With this gorgeous spring weather all I want to do is be outside enjoying the sunny vibes so that’s exactly what I did this past weekend…and it just so happened to double as an opportune time to take photos…what can I say I tried to kill two birds with one stone :p
I am still having the struggle of transitioning pieces I loved during the winter into my spring wardrobe, so today’s look is a great way to still wear some of your winter sweaters in warmer temperatures (within reason of course). One way? With cropped skinnies and some bright sunnies and sexy sandals! Nothing transitions pieces like some perfect accessories and footwear right? 😉
Woohoo and cheers for the weekend! I have been seriously anticipating the arrival of the weekend because I am ready for some spring vibes and sunshine 😉 Who is with me on that?! I can’t wait to shoot looks without totally freezing myself to bits and I definitely have seeing James Franco and Jonah Hill’s new movie ‘True Story‘ on the agenda for the weekend…the trailer has totally sucked me in! Plus staring at Jonah Hill and James Franco for two hours is pretty much a guaranteed way to have a splendid weekend haha!
Another reason I am anxious for the weekend? The fact that it’ll be warm enough to wear more of my favorite skater skirts like I am in today’s post! If I could wear skirts and dresses everyday of the week I would. I hate wearing pants…I prefer to show a little leg and feel girly at all times what can I say…I am a dork from time to time :p
