With Festival Season upon us and Coachella being just weeks away, I am getting kinda addicted to the ‘boho chic babe‘ look :p So since I am currently coming up with outfits to shoot this weekend for festival posts, I decided I’d get some inspo with online shopping (ahem…online ‘window’ shopping hehe — trying to stay on a budget) but luckily these clothing, shoe + accessory picks are all affordable! Woohoo!
And the weekend is over…time to embark on a new week and hopefully that involves (plenty) of green tea, some exciting packages (I may or may not have done a little online shopping this weekend — #oops…only way to see is on SnapChat – MissyOnMadison) + getting some work done (that’s kinda required I guess huh :p). If you weren’t already aware, I am slightlyaddicted to green tea and my addiction got even worse over the weekend, when I headed to Costco and I spotted their citrus green tea which if you haven’t tried it, you are missing out because it is literally the most AMAZING green tea I have ever had (thanks mom :p)! My mom is always trying to get me to save money and be on a budget but in my mind…if it’s on sale I saved money duh hehe Well, in her never ending battle to get me to save money she suggested I try the Costco brand green tea to cut out my daily Starbucks expenditure (after doubting her, I gave in and got the tea)…best purchase I made this weekend…actually it was the best thing that happened to me this weekend…let’s just say I had the most awkward date ever and pretty much contemplated walking out on it (this was an absolute first)…but onto a lighter subject haha…my outfit 😉
Happy Weekend Loves! It’s time for another weekend wish list and this weekend’s theme is all about fall! I am super excited for fall fashion…not necessarily fall. What can I say I’m a summer gal 😉 {Click Each Item To Shop Direct}
Just because I love summer doesn’t mean I’m not looking forward to some fabulous fall looks…which I will start putting together this weekend (tons of outfit shoots in the works)! I’m currently lusting after a few pieces for fall…can you blame me? New seasons = new excuses to buy things!
I love the Pashli bag from 3.1 Phillip Lim, especially in the orchid color shown above. Yes, I know a bright purple is more summer than fall but hey if I can make it work, I will. I also love a great nude lip for fall and actually year round, this Tom Ford shade is flawless…just what I needed. It wouldn’t be fall without a chic moto jacket…luckily my pick above is from Forever 21! Affordable and stylish…now that’s fashion at it’s finest 😉
Happy Weekend Lovelies! Nothing makes a weekend even better than a little shopping, so I rounded up 10 products I’m currently craving now {click each item above to shop direct}. The gold nail bracelet from Wanderlust is a total must, I’m obsessed with it and need to add it to my arm party! The leopard calf hair flats from J Crew are perfect for fall (we are in August now…fall is right around the corner ahh!).
Now you guys know how much I LOVE a pop of color and these Schutz cobalt shoes do just the trick. Perfect for a girl’s night out or for the office…blue hues are kinda my thing 😉 The eye clutch from Urban Outfitters is unique and different which is something I love going for when I want to make a statement. And if you didn’t already know, I love watches and monograms so I immediately gravitated towards the woven multi-color watch from Neiman Marcus and the block monogram necklace from BaubleBar.
Now to my current must have obsession that will most likely get purchased this weekend…the Christian Louboutin ‘Rouge Louboutin’ nail polish available now at Nordstrom! It just got unveiled this week and fashionistas everywhere are swarming to get it. For me, it will be the closest I get to owning anything ‘Louboutin’ for a while…till I have the funds to drop almost $1,000 on a pair of shoes haha!
Happy Wednesday Loves…I’m writing this post while watching the Real Housewives Of NY reunion…can you say drama? Well in the spirit of making a splash, I figured I’d share one of my favorite looks…a chic LBD (little black dress, duh!).
While getting ‘gussied’ up as my mom calls it, she asked if I was heading to prom (probably because I was applying red lipstick, something totally out of my norm)…well 5 years too late mom, but any who I wanted to wear a flirty, sexy and fun little dress, I never went to my prom, so I guess this is as close as it’s going to get 😉 Black head to toe, in my opinion is one of the classiest looks any lady can rock. I love when I see quotes like ‘Pink Is The New Black’ or ‘*insert term here* is the new Black’…I believe black will always be ‘black’, classy, timeless and elegant, and that’s exactly what this look is.My black patent leather pumps as well as my dress are from Lord & Taylor (love all their amazing sales and coupons!). While my Enzo Angiolini heels and my Guess dress are no longer available, I found a great pair of patent leather peep toe pumps from Michael Kors and a fabulous black sweetheart dress from Nasty Gal!
Like I’ve shared a few times, the Rebecca Minkoff Affair Bag should be part of every stylish gals wardrobe. It can be dressed up or down, has tons of room and will never go out of style…how can quilted leather ever be ‘out’?My purple statement making jewelry is from Capwell + Co’s sample sale! Seriously obsessed, purple is my favorite color and nothing helps the classic LBD stand out like some serious sparkle!While I love dressing up, whether it’s for an event, party or ‘just because’ one of the many problems I run into is the unavoidable foot pain I get a few hours into wearing a killer pair of heels…but I found a solution! KushyFoot has a great line of roll up ballet flats that fit perfectly into your handbag, even the tiniest of going out bags and they are instant foot pain relief! The roll up flats come in a variety of colors and designs, and these Snake Print ones are a favorite of mine. They actually go with my outfit…how great is that? No worries about looking too ‘sloppy’ after taking off your heels!Now that I’m prepared for a fun night out, all I need is a place to go…isn’t that the problem we all have…all dressed up but no place to go? Sometimes you just need to sex things up a bit, no occasion required ladies 😉
