Missy wish you a Merry Christmas, Missy wish you a Merry Christmas, Missy wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Merry Christmas loves! I couldn’t wait to share today’s Christmas look with you all and also share some exciting news about a Christmas gift that arrived to me a little early!First let me start by saying I hope you are all enjoying the Holiday season with your closest family and friends. I am currently sitting at home in pjs (yes we open presents in pajamas and then I beautify later or at least I try to…if I conquer up the energy to do so haha!). Usually every Christmas follows this agenda 1) Wake up and open presents 2) Have breakfast (typically my mom will make pancakes…if not cereal it is!) 3) My brother and I go to the movies (did I mention that I am half jewish and half catholic so naturally being partially jewish warrants me to go to the movies on Christmas!) and 4) Delicious feast that mama duke cooks to perfection…followed by me feeling like I am about to explode and the urge to hit the gym all at the same time haha So let me break down this festive little look which can also be worn for New Year’s…so crazy to think we are simple days away from a new year, a new you and some new adventures…2015 here I come! My bling and nails are as follows:

Kendra Scott Naomi Double Platinum Ring // Midi Ring // Essie ‘Borrowed & Blue’ // Caravelle NY Watch // LOVE Bracelet (on my Poshmark)I LOVE ankle strap sandals year round…I feel like nothing is sexier than a simple thin strap shoe to show off a perfect pedicure year round 😉 I found similar beauties to these ones from 6pm.com (but you can in fact shop these exact ones on my Poshmark here)It wouldn’t be Christmas without a little red! My Rebecca Minkoff ‘Mini Mac’ in red is the perfect ‘Pop Of Color’ for the Holiday season and it is a bag I wear year round whenever I feel like standing out.My white cable knit sweater is from Old Navy and it is a MUST for every gal this season. Dress it up with a metallic skirt like I did here or dress it down with some jeans or leather leggings (PS those two combos are coming soon to the blog)…however you wear it, a white cable knit sweater will never go out of style (AND it is on sale now!)I couldn’t find the ~~exact~~ skirt I am wearing here online because it was a TJ Maxx maxxinista find 😉 But I did find some fabulous options (all on sale) here, here + here.Ok, now the moment you have all been waiting for…what was my early Christmas gift that is sure to make 2015 the best year yet? Well it wasn’t placed under my tree so it won’t be opening and instagrammed (but don’t worry my other presents will…follow along on instagram @MissyOnMadison). Starting in the new year, I will be the new social media guru for Kleinfelds Bridal…YES, I said Yes to the Dress and I Do to Kleinfelds! I am SUPER excited to embark on this new journey and I can’t wait to share my experiences with you all of course! Do you guys watch ‘Say Yes To The Dress’ or have your future wedding Pinterest boards in the works? It is something I will be on top of 24/7 with this new career and I can’t wait to drool over the gorgeous gowns, fabulous brides and of course…the rom-com stories coming to life and being shared with you! NYFW Diary Part 1…

Hello Loves! I’m writing this post while in bed in desperate need of a foot massage after a long day filled with NYFW festivities. I decided I’m going to do a daily diary of my events (don’t worry I will break down the looks I’m wearing after fashion week simmers down!). Today was hectic not only because of all the places to be and people to see, but also because NYC was a sticky mess today…makeup melting, hair falling…dare I say beads of sweat formulating on the back of my neck..ugh! At least I had fun right? 😉 My first stop was ‘The Vane’ brunch. The Vane is a pretty awesome app that combines fashion and weather…you know so you can finally pick out a weather appropriate outfit minus the guessing! Mainly I was excited to catch up with my blogger buddies like Kelly (above) 🙂 She’s also from Long Island and has a thing for affordable fashion like me! I was so happy to finally run into these ladies. Jess and I have been following each other for a few months now on instagram and now FINALLY got to meet face to face! Got to love technology…making friends over the internet and then in real life 😉Another virtual blogger bestie…Kerri! I’m obsessed with her outfit and the fact that we’ve been insta stalking each other for months now. Also in love with the gorgeous chandelier hanging above brunch…I need a walk in closet with this beauty…which brings me to my next event of the day…the Reward Style party!I couldn’t wait to hit the Reward Style party because I got to catch up with my favorite LA bloggers!

I haven’t seen my blogger bestie Kristi since my LA adventure back in April where I stayed with her for almost two weeks and attended Lucky Fabb and countless other events in addition to some awesome outfit shoots. We rejoiced in the lobby of the Empire Hotel…yes, high pitch screams were exchanged and onlookers rolled their eyes, but hey all that matters is we were back in action! Kristi and I had to share our black booties in true blogger style. Mine are from Nine West her’s are Chanel! I was so happy to spot this lady in red…Sheryl of ‘Walk In Wonderland’. I have loved her since the moment I met her at the Nordstrom Rack event in Manhasset months ago and couldn’t wait to catch up…she is as sweet and as stylish as ever! Speaking of sweet…I don’t have a sweet tooth, but I do have a slight obsession with popcorn! I acted like a child the moment I saw popcorn at the party…I even texted a photo to my mom who replied ‘You Must Be Thrilled’…sad but true, I was 😉 My final destination of the day was the Katya Leonovich SS 15 Runway show at Pier 59, Chelsea Piers. It was my first runway show this fashion week but certainly not my last! I love the risky designs…models were baring it all and I mean ALL (nipples exposed…not my style but hey work it girl)! I also love the random pops of color…we know neon is my speciality! (More on this to come…I have photos of all the looks…totally unique) I’m off to try and get some beauty rest! From Day To Night…

Happy Monday Loves! I hope you had a fun filled weekend like I did…lets’ just say it involved some shopping, outfit shoots and…blogging. Just Kidding (not really), but I also spent some quality time with family and friends and ventured out on Long Island. So I learned while working in NYC that it is essential to have a great day to night transition look. A great outfit to wear from 9-5 but that can easily be ‘glammed’ up or down for happy hour. I think I finally found the perfect ensemble. I’ve seen a lot of ladies rock crop tops to the office…while I think it’s daring, I still opt to make the look a bit traditional by adding a chic black blazer paired with a printed high waisted skirt like this one from Prabal Gurung for Target (love a great Look For Less collab). I always have to add a ‘Pop Of Color’ to every look, so queue the cobalt blue quilted clutch. I scored this bag on sale at Lord & Taylor last year, but everyone always assumes it’s designer…don’t you love when that happens? My first pair of shoes for the ‘day’ look are from Nine West. These black booties are simply stunning and they are comfortable too. A great shoe to wear year round. Now for my ‘night’ portion. Not much changes except loosing the blazer and adding an even sexier shoe.My shoes are also Prabal Gurung for Target (I found similar one’s from Nine West available now). These are my ‘sexy’ shoes. Comfortable for a night filled with dancing, but also classy enough for a nice dinner. I simply love this look, now I just need somewhere to go!Shop My Look<3

Happy Monday Loves! Time for another busy but productive summer week! I couldn’t wait to share this bright look with you that I shot in Soho 2 weeks ago when I brought my little sister to meet Melissa Ben-Ishay, the Melissa behind the bite sized phenomenon that is Baked By Melissa! My sister is a huge cupcake fan…while i love to indulge every now and then, sweets aren’t my thing…comfort food like Mac & Cheese, Popcorn and Chicken Fingers are…me and popcorn have a love hate relationship. I love it like no other when I’m eating it but within a few hours I instantly regret the salty, dry and sluggish feeling I get after over doing it at the movie theater…because obviously movie theater popcorn is simply the best to have right? :p Anyways, back to today’s look. My peach top is from Old Navy. Button Downs are great for the office, but sometimes white and black can get a little boring, so since I love color, why not stand out with a little peach! My white shorts are from Abercrombie (most likely the clearance table in the back…none the less, a total win). I LOVE both my shoes and bag I’m wearing in this shot. My bag is from Last Call Neiman Marcus, it’s actually their own brand and it reminds me of the Maison Valentino Rockstud Tote. These gold block sandals are from Anne Klein (Traven Sandal) and what I love most about them is the fact that they match wit everything, can be dressed up or down for work or play AND they are super comfortable. Anne Klein has really comfortable footwear, one of the very few brands that can appeal to my style side and my comfort side! It wouldn’t be a complete outfit without a little bling right? I enjoy layering delicate pieces like my Hamsa Hand, Skull and Star necklaces. It’s simple yet chic. Happy Friday Loves! I feel like the summer weeks are flying by and I don’t want them to leave. I had a lovely day yesterday with my new Long Island blogger friends, Sarah and Kelly…let’s just say blogging was the least of what we discussed. So it’s Sarah and Kelly’s new goal to set me up with some decent guys…I’ve never shared this but…I’ve been doing the whole online dating thing on and off for a little while now and it’s safe to say it’s been…interesting.I tend to pick the wrong guys or maybe as Carrie Bradshaw says ‘I do not pick the wrong guys, they pick me’…either way haha dating has become quite the challenge, for me at least. So while I search for Mr. Right, I will stick with talking about what I know best…fashion. My paint splattered dress was another Charlotte Russe find (did you see my neon one yesterday…I got both of these beauties, buy one get one 50% off…score). It’s no longer available but I found a similar dress at Zappos (with an amazing print!)My white cross body bag was a Saks Off Fifth find from Badgley Mischka (I found a similar one from Rebecca Minkoff) and my block sandals are from Old Navy…I love the unexpected reaction when people ask ‘where are your shoes from?’ and I respond…Old Navy 😉 (BTW they are on sale now!)Shop My Look Below<3
