Happy Tuesday Lovers! It may be snowing here in NY but I’m still reminiscing about some of my favorite fall looks…like this little leopard number! This leopard cardigan (similar style…mine is not longer available) is my current obsession for fall…cozy, warm and guess what? It has a nice ‘pop’ of orange in addition to a chic leopard print…what more can a gal ask for for the cold weather months? To make the orange in the cardigan ‘pop‘ even more, I opted to wear a neon orange top underneath (the one I am wearing is from Old Navy and no longer available). I found a cute orange chiffon blouse that’s work appropriate as well from Last Call Neiman Marcus here.If it wasn’t already obvious…even in the coldest of temperatures, I still love to wear a skirt…especially a skater skirt like this one. A black skater skirt is an essential for every fashionistas because it can be dressed up or down for any occasion…nothing beats that!Now let’s break down the accessories…I never leave the house without a classic watch. A watch to me isn’t just a way to tell time, but it makes a statement…it truly shows a little bit about your personal style. For this look I decided to rock my new Caravelle NY wrap watch that when I look at it I instantly think ‘decadent chocolate‘…why does that come to mind? Easy…it’s brown leather and has sparkles…so that’s high class chocolate if you ask me haha!Now time for the shoe + bag swag! These Isola black suede fringed booties (on sale now for under $75 at 6pm!) are AMAZING…and I’m not just saying this because I am wearing them 😉 Black booties are always in style, but comfort is something that is a rare find…these Isola booties both have style and comfort…the way to every fashion lovers heart.My bag is actually a black leather Coach bucket bag that is truly vintage…my mom used to rock it while she was pregnant with me…designer love at a young age 😉 I found a few similar bags here + here.I for one wish I could be wearing this outfit today but unfortunately due to today’s ‘Noreaster’ that doesn’t seem likely :/ snow and rain go away…come again…never haha!| Click To Shop My Look |
Happy Monday Lovers! Stop right now, thank you very much, I need somebody with the human touch…Hey you always on the run, Gotta slow down baby, gotta have some fun! Sorry but while naming the post all I could think of in terms of ‘Stop’ was one of my favorite Spice Girl songs ‘Stop’ haha! I was a huge Spice Girl fan…I always pretended to be Posh spice because even as a youngster I loved leather and heels 😉 Besides my love for the Spice Girls as we all know I LOVE color…that means even in the winter months I will be rocking a ‘pop of color’ so when I spotted this cherry red Vince Camuto coat at Lord & Taylor (on clearance now!) I had to have it!And just in case the red coat didn’t provide me with enough color for one look…Add this cobalt blue Neiman Marcus tote and you are ready to embrace winter in the most colorful of ways 😉 I went simple with my shoes because I couldn’t handle much more color than the bag and the coat…maybe I could of but hey not everyone can be as out there with color as me so I’m keeping it simple for you guys loves <3 They are from Pink Basis but I found a similar pair on sale from Nine West here.Underneath the red coat is a basic outfit that you can rock year round (ok maybe not the sleeveless top but hey add a blazer or a cardigan and you are ready to go)! You can never go wrong with a chic white button down blouse like this one from BCBG (for under $35 that’s a must!).As for my jeans…they are my favorite! I LOVE light wash jeans and I always cuff them because I love to show a little skin…even if it is just my ankles haha. Happy Weekend Lovers! Time for another gift guide! Often times it’s hard to buy for let’s say your teenage niece, your tech savvy aunt, your straight to business mom or trendy gal pal. You don’t want to spend a fortune because hello what gal isn’t on a budget…and you don’t want to pick a cheap gift that the recepient won’t get much use out of…so what is the perfect, no brainer gift? A little ‘extra‘ as I like to call it. That means a key ring, a key pouch, phone or tablet case or even a business card holder! You can’t go wrong with any of those items because they will be useful to anyone…guaranteed 😉 (I’d say or your money back but hey I’m not the one selling them to ya…otherwise I would stand by that 110% lol!)

Time to flashback to one of my favorite trends…florals (earth shattering I know)…everytime I talk about florals I think of Miranda Preistly from my favorite chick flick ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ — ‘Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking…’ Well as a matter of fact…I believe florals for winter are definitely…groundbreaking 😉 Just don’t tell Miranda!Friday’s are typically casual in every office place so what does that mean to me? A fun printed skirt paired with a simple cable knit sweater like this one from Old Navy that can transition from the board room to happy hour!My floral scuba skirt (which apparently is the ‘it’ material to have this year) is from Target but I found a very similar skirt from J Crew here. My sweater like I mentioned above is from Old Navy AND it is on sale now here!Let’s break down the most important part of any look…the shoes and the bag duh! My shoes are from my social media crush Cameron Silver for Nine West. I LOVE Cameron’s style because he loves a good pop of color just like ya girl here 😉 If you don’t know who he is maybe you remember a show called ‘Dukes Of Melrose’ that aired on my go to network…Bravo. Cameron is part owner of the most popular vintage shop called Decades in LA and he has the most eccentric style and he is hilarious yet moving on social media…you must check him and his shoes out. These pumps are comfortable, unique and pretty much to die for…plus they are under $50here!So on a little side note…I did some holiday shopping for myself…I know, I know holidays are a time for giving…but hey who said you can’t give yourself a little something right? Happy Thursday Lovers! I’m excited to switch things up today and share a little beauty post with ya’ll! I am always on the hunt for new beauty products…especially ones that are affordable and can be easily found at local drug stores or major retailers (all of today’s products are available at Target, Walgreens or Sephora)! So let’s get down to it…First up…Olay Regerist Micro-Sculpting Cream! I recently got my first ever Microdermabrasion treatment and the aesthetician (who was horrified by the state of my skin by the way) emphasized the importance of starting young with the proper products to nourish and treat your skin to get it in the best state before it’s too late. I may be 22 but apparently now is the time to combat aging skin before the aging starts…at first I wasn’t on board but after an hour treatment and a lot of convincing…I think I will listen up and start with my aging skin treatments…first off by sticking with the Olay Regenerist line…especially the Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream.Not only does it reduce the sight of wrinkles, but it firms skin in just a few days and helps your skin look 10 years younger in the matter of weeks…top rated, featured in countless beauty mags and plus I’m a fan…if that didn’t sell ya on this lightweight creamy product yet…I don’t know what will 😉 Maybe the fact that it retails for under $25 will help too…
Now that we know what to use on our face to combat aging skin let me introduce to you my skin saver…a product that deals with my biggest issue year round…blemishes and acne. The Body Shop has come up with a pocket sized solution to help reduce the appearance of blemishes in a matter of hours without using harsh chemicals that typically dry out your skin or cause negative side effects. I LOVE this Body Shop Tea Tree Blemish Gel (I may or may not have it on me daily in my cosmetic bag).
After getting rid of your blemishes it’s time to bring a little attention to your lips…with Clinique Matte Lipstick. I love any lipstick that is matte and especially a lipstick that doesn’t feel dry or one that needs to be re-applied every half hour…this Clinique Long Lasting Soft Matte Lipstick has long lasting in it’s name and feels like a lightweight gloss or lip balm…I’ve been wearing this daily even if it is just to run errands.
It’s no secret that I absolutely LOVE nail polish and I am slightly addicted to manicures…and by slightly I mean definitely. I get my nails done minimum once a week and I always love trying new colors and brands. My long standing go to brand has been Essie, but when I saw this new brand ‘Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics‘ in my Glam Beauty package sent to me from Mode Media I right away A) fell in love with the name of the brand…hello ‘Obsessive + Compulsive’ describe me all too well according to my mother 😉 & B) these polishes are 100% Vegan + Cruelty-Free…now that’s pretty awesome for a nail polish!
They say ‘the eyes are the window to your soul’ so I feel it’s only suiting to make them pop…and Eyeko ‘Me & My Shadow Waterproof Shadow Liner’ has become my savior for early morning eye makeup in a jiffy. This glide on shadow is long lasting, not messy and provides amazing color without having to mix and match it with multiple eye products. Since I tend to keep my eye makeup simple (you will never see me with a cat eye or multiple eye shadow colors unless it is professionally done) this product is perfect for me. I do my makeup in under 15 minutes and this takes all of 30 seconds to apply for an instant ‘done’ look.
Now for the finishing touches…fabulous hair and a delicious scent. I always want simple and easy hair products to spray on wet or dry hair that add volume or a little style with low maintenance and who would of thought Target would sell my ideal product, ‘Charles Worthington Volume & Bounce Thicken & Full 3D Boosting Creme‘. Spray and go…nothing complicated there. It adds bounce, shine and volume without that ‘hard’ or ‘crunchy’ feeling…ladies you know exactly what I am referring to…
Last but not least…the fragrance. I scream, you scream, we all scream for…you guessed it ICE CREAM…so Demeter Fragrance came up with a genius scent…’Pistachio Ice Cream’! Not only does it smell just like my favorite flavor of ice cream but it is such a unique scent I’ve had various gals and gents come up to me asking what I’m wearing…let’s just say it is far from Chanel No.5. Wear this only if you are able to think outside the box and smell sweet even if you don’t always act like it 😉 (Similar picks below)
