Happy Wednesday Lovers! So it may be rainy and cold this week but I discovered a way to brighten things up around here…with a colorful outfit post…duh! Contrary to popular belief neon isn’t just for summer…case and point…this look 😉 I can never have too much color in my wardrobe…it’s what makes me me! I based this whole look off of two fabulous pieces…1) This neon Kendra Scott Necklace + 2) This Neiman Marcus cobalt blue tote…both of which I am in LOVE with <3 My shoes remind me of Chanel…why? Because they are classic tweed except with a ~~twist~~…an open toe! (P.S. I am selling them on my Poshmark here) They are comfortable, classy and are perfect for the office…year round!Now for the rest of the look…I had a thing for quilted in this post. Black quilted vest, gray quilted skirt…I just love quilted stitching…it’s timeless and always looks ‘put together’.To make the look a little different, I opted for a chambray button down (this one from Gilt is great)…I kinda had a thing for blue hues if you couldn’t already tell…speaking of…Yup, mirrored aviators…something every gal is after AND they make an awesome holiday gift for gals of all ages! My sister is 14 and is obsessed with her Ray Bans and my mom can even be seen rocking a pair from time to time…what does this tell us? Mirrored aviators…a holiday MUST! I wish the weather was warmer so that I could actually rock this colorful number but hey for now I will accept just sharing it with you 🙂 BTW as I am writing this I am watching the first episode of Bravo’s new series ‘Girlfriends Guide To Divorce’…and I am OBSESSED. Rebel With A Pop…

Happy Monday Lovers! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend filled with fun, relaxation and maybe like mine…a little shopping (oops…that whole saving thing…kind of a challenge for me…who is with me?). So after rebelling against my mom aka my financial advisor’s wishes of me working on saving money (did I mention I made some stops at Target, Nordstrom & Old Navy?) I figured let the rebellious behavior continue with this ‘Rebel tee‘ from Old Navy! I actually came across this outfit shoot in my iPhoto library from August! My brother and I often shoot a bunch of looks at once since we both have such busy schedules during the week to try and shoot each look daily. So although this was shot in August, this can be the perfect fall ensemble for a night out or a dressed up weekend day look. My rebel tee is from Old Navy here. I paired with with a chic white boyfriend blazer like this one here. Fall is the season of leather, vegan leather and faux leather…so I had to rock my favorite Hue leatherette leggings available here. Now to break down my favorite part of any outfit…the bag and shoes!My bag is by BCBG and it is the ‘Pop’ in the title of this post…always need a great ‘Pop Of Color’ to brighten up any look no matter what the occasion or the season. While this style is no longer available, I found a similar clutch from BCBG at Lord & Taylor on SALE now here.My heels are from the Prabal Gurung for Target collection…a bit of a throwback so since they are no longer able to be purchased, I found a practically identical pair from Nine West here. What I love about this look is that it’s a simple tee that just got dressed up by adding a simple blazer and leather leggings…my two must haves for this fall season.| Click To Shop |

Day To Night…

TGIF Lovers! I’m happy to share a new ‘Day To Night’ transition look today because 9 out of 10 times the first thing I’m doing after a long day at work is heading to happy hour or a little dinner with the girls. When rushing around (especially in NYC) or even Long Island for that matter, I sometimes don’t have time to change into something different than what I wore earlier in the day…case and point, this outfit here 🙂I love everything about this look head to toe because I feel comfortable, confident and sexy in it all at the same time…something that not every outfit could provide. While everyone typically opts for a traditional black blazer for a day at the office or even a night out, I always love to think outside the box and rock white. This white boyfriend blazer is the perfect fit and can go from day to night…what’s better than that.To add even more color I wore a cropped purple cami like this one. It is a nice silk material and looks like a professional blouse when worn under a blazer so it is office appropriate or happy hour ready. While black distressed skinny jeans are ok for casual Friday in some offices, I know they aren’t widely accepted everywhere so an easy fix is to just rock non-distressed black skinny jeans like these (on sale now at Banana Republic) or black skinny dress pants like these…if you can do distressed I highly suggest these ones from TopShop.My bling is simple and layered…just the way I like it. Not too much for the board room yet trendy enough for an early evening outing. While both pieces are no longer available at their perspective retailers, I found a simple elephant necklace here + horizontal bar necklace here. Midi-Rings are here + here.The Rebecca Minkoff Affair Bag is my go to bag for going out. It’s not too small but not too big…it’s just right 😉 My shoes are not Valentino Rockstud Pumps although they look pretty similar!
