From Day To Night…

Happy Monday Loves! I hope you had a fun filled weekend like I did…lets’ just say it involved some shopping, outfit shoots and…blogging. Just Kidding (not really), but I also spent some quality time with family and friends and ventured out on Long Island. So I learned while working in NYC that it is essential to have a great day to night transition look. A great outfit to wear from 9-5 but that can easily be ‘glammed’ up or down for happy hour. I think I finally found the perfect ensemble. I’ve seen a lot of ladies rock crop tops to the office…while I think it’s daring, I still opt to make the look a bit traditional by adding a chic black blazer paired with a printed high waisted skirt like this one from Prabal Gurung for Target (love a great Look For Less collab). I always have to add a ‘Pop Of Color’ to every look, so queue the cobalt blue quilted clutch. I scored this bag on sale at Lord & Taylor last year, but everyone always assumes it’s designer…don’t you love when that happens? My first pair of shoes for the ‘day’ look are from Nine West. These black booties are simply stunning and they are comfortable too. A great shoe to wear year round. Now for my ‘night’ portion. Not much changes except loosing the blazer and adding an even sexier shoe.My shoes are also Prabal Gurung for Target (I found similar one’s from Nine West available now). These are my ‘sexy’ shoes. Comfortable for a night filled with dancing, but also classy enough for a nice dinner. I simply love this look, now I just need somewhere to go!Shop My Look<3

Happy Wednesday Loves! While I love to wear fun and casual outfits, sometimes I need to play dress up and act like an adult (just sometimes 😉 ). I’ve discovered it’s become easier in today’s day and age to not only dress office appropriate, but stylish as well. It’s all about hemlines, cuts and colors. I enjoy a great ‘Pop Of Color’ even when it comes to office wear!My ever favorite white boyfriend blazer is from the LC By Lauren Conrad collection at Kohls. I realized all of my blazers are pretty much from that collection…what can I say I’m a gal that gets stuck on what I like, is that a crime? 😉 My cobalt blue blouse is from Old Navy. It adds just the right amount of color to stand out at the office without being inappropriate. I love my black scuba skirt from Target. The scuba fabric has been a summer favorite as well as a personal favorite of mine! Now for my shoes, as if I haven’t already shared the deets on these a bunch of times, they were a Payless find! Yes, I will forever be stunned that I found my perfect nude ankle strap sandal at Payless…it was the best purchase I had ever made there! My snakeskin envelope clutch is from Target. I love how unique it is. I was never a big clutch fan (I always need a huge bag to carry everything including the kitchen sink) but for some reason I fell hard for this bag the moment I spotted it…I’d say the $8 price tag helped contribute to the love affair as well 😉 Sometimes dressing professional isn’t as boring as it seems 😉 Or at least when it comes to me it isn’t! Happy Wednesday Loves! Ok, so this is really odd for me to admit and say, but I found this outfit shoot in my photo library from 2 months ago and boy was I shocked. Yes, I LOVE the red bag in this look and of course my outfit, but it kind of hit me about how big I was getting without realizing. You know when those pounds kind of creep up on you and your not sure how they got there? Well…looking at these photos and knowing what I know now, action had to happen and so glad it has. I went on a strict paleo diet and have been hitting the gym everyday and the pounds are shedding, inches shrinking and I’m feeling better than ever…these photos were a reminder of how far I’ve somewhat already come. Now to break down my look rather than my personal journey haha! My skirt is from Kohls…LC By Lauren Conrad to be exact. My top is from Nordstrom…a clearance find of course 😉 The real show stopper…my bag. It’s from Neiman Marcus Last Call…I loved the nude one so much that I bought it in red…great for my closet not so great for my bank account haha! However I rationalize it by the fact that it’s identical to the red rockstar tote from Valentino…at a fraction of the cost!My shoes are an oldie but a goodie from Coach. They go with everything and dress up any look! You can never go wrong with black strappy sandals…right ladies?Shop My Look <3

Happy Monday loves! Today’s look is an oldie but a goodie…I realized I have this look on my banner above, but never broke down the shopping details…oops 😉 I hope you all had a nice weekend, I know I sure did! What I love about this look is this floral scuba skirt from Target…isn’t it great? I love all the colors in it, especially how I can rock it with a cute aqua tank <3 I love color for summer. I found a similar skirt from Last Call…with a mixed pattern…obsessed!My shoes are again…a Payless find! Yes people…Payless <3 I seriously love them…don’t worry I found similar nude sandals from Nasty Gal! My bag is my forever favorite Rebecca Minkoff Affair Bag in classic black. Chic, classy and simple. Has tons of room for all your essentials and is amazing quality! My prayers for the perfect going out bag have been answered 😉 I can’t live without a chic white blazer. I feel it pulls any look ‘together’ and is great for a night out or a day at the office. My statement necklace is from Laila Rowe…they have the best jewelry for less 🙂 Great pieces to make any look sparkle! I found a similar white necklace from ASOS as well!Shop My Look Below <3

Happy Wednesday Fashion Lovers! I’m feeling a little blue on the blog today, but in a cobalt way of course! When visiting the Dietch PR Fall/Winter 2014 Press Preview in NYC the other day I decided to bring a little LA to NYC and rock some bright cobalt blue 🙂

I LOVE this look…yes I can’t say it enough. There is nothing I love more for spring than some whites mixed with some color and this look has exactly that! This is a great look to spice up your office wardrobe or even for a girls night out…whatever the occasion, cool vibes with some cobalt are always welcome<3
