Day To Night…

TGIF Lovers! I’m happy to share a new ‘Day To Night’ transition look today because 9 out of 10 times the first thing I’m doing after a long day at work is heading to happy hour or a little dinner with the girls. When rushing around (especially in NYC) or even Long Island for that matter, I sometimes don’t have time to change into something different than what I wore earlier in the day…case and point, this outfit here 🙂I love everything about this look head to toe because I feel comfortable, confident and sexy in it all at the same time…something that not every outfit could provide. While everyone typically opts for a traditional black blazer for a day at the office or even a night out, I always love to think outside the box and rock white. This white boyfriend blazer is the perfect fit and can go from day to night…what’s better than that.To add even more color I wore a cropped purple cami like this one. It is a nice silk material and looks like a professional blouse when worn under a blazer so it is office appropriate or happy hour ready. While black distressed skinny jeans are ok for casual Friday in some offices, I know they aren’t widely accepted everywhere so an easy fix is to just rock non-distressed black skinny jeans like these (on sale now at Banana Republic) or black skinny dress pants like these…if you can do distressed I highly suggest these ones from TopShop.My bling is simple and layered…just the way I like it. Not too much for the board room yet trendy enough for an early evening outing. While both pieces are no longer available at their perspective retailers, I found a simple elephant necklace here + horizontal bar necklace here. Midi-Rings are here + here.The Rebecca Minkoff Affair Bag is my go to bag for going out. It’s not too small but not too big…it’s just right 😉 My shoes are not Valentino Rockstud Pumps although they look pretty similar! Metallic Hues & Cobalt Blues…

Happy Wednesday Loves! This look features two of my favorite fall trends…cobalt blue and metallic…what more can a fashionista ask for? The lovely team at ShopMieux sent me these Zara metallic blue platform heels which are super comfortable and the perfect night out shoe (similar from ASOS here). I figured why stop the metallic moment at my footwear…why not add a metallic bag as well like my silver clutch from Carolinna Espinosa (similar from ShopBop here…use code FRIENDS25 for 25% off your purchase!). Now that we broke the metallics down…let’s get to the rest of this Humpday ensemble 😉 My cobalt blue blouse is from LC By Lauren Conrad AND you can score it now from my closet on Poshmark for a fraction of the cost! Like I mentioned earlier, from the bag to the shoes…I am loving metallic for fall…can you blame me? Metallic accessories, in my opinion really pull the look together…they add a little sparkle and shine (as if the sleeves on this top didn’t have enough of it..) and they can match with almost anything! My black scuba skirt is from Target, but I found a similar one available now from Nordstrom here. And to stay within the blue hues…mirrored aviators, my go to accessory! A little fun fact…while shooting this look at my local Tanger Outlets (what can I say why not shop & shoot at the same time haha!) a group of guys walked by and screamed out ‘Looking Good’ as I’m sitting there pretending to be a model…my brother aka my photographer just shook his head in embarrassment…sibling love at it’s finest 🙂Shop My Look<3

Pretty In Pink…

Happy Monday Loves! October isn’t just a month filled with fall festivals, pumpkins and Halloween decorations…October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, a cause dear to my heart. I’ve come to discover that everyone has in some way, shape or form been affected by Breast Cancer. Breast Cancer runs in my family and this time of year is a reminder to visit the doctor and take pre-caution…always be aware of what can happen and what steps to take to prevent it. Please join me in donating to one of the numerous foundations that help raise funds for preventative research and to find a cure 🙂Pink is the color that comes to mind when you think of Breast Cancer Awareness. The pink ribbon represents hope and the continued fight we all take part in to work towards a cure…so I decided a pink ensemble was a must to commemorate. My light pink pleated skirt is from Target…it’s such a girly piece and I love it! I paired it with my favorite black crop top from Jennifer Lopez for Kohls and my signature LC By Lauren Conrad white blazer. TGIF Loves! In addition to sharing this look which I am thinking I will wear tomorrow to my #NYFW events…which will be starting with two, yes two brunches tomorrow and I will be running around the Big Apple till 11pm tomorrow night…I’m exhausted just thinking about it!

With all the chaos happening this week and next week I think I need a vacation…which brings me to the next reason I chose this look for today’s post…it’s part of #MyCosmoStyle challenge in which I am joining forces with Vegas.com & The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas to share a great day to night transition look…something I can rock for Vegas Strip shopping, conferences at the Convention Center and of course for nightlife at The Cosmopolitan! I would never think to transition a tweed skirt and a chic black blazer from day to night, but with the proper top underneath, you are in business. For a day look simply wear a fully covering cami or blouse…but for a sexy night out at Marquee Nightclub or even a fancy dinner at STK, swap out the conservative top for a black crop top like this one that shows a little skin…they don’t call it ‘Sin City’ for nothing 😉 My black boyfriend blazer is from LC By Lauren Conrad for Kohls…my favorite line of blazers…the fit is amazing! My tweed mini skirt was a Target clearance find from a year ago but I found similar ones at Banana Republic and Bloomingdales. Now for the low down on the bling. My monogram necklace is from BaubleBar…timeless, classic and always brought with me when I travel, it goes with everything! I love my star bangle and nail bracelet…just the right amount of sparkle and edge that can be worn during the day or at night! My bag? Rebecca Minkoff black studded Affair Bag! It’s a great day to night transition…has room for all your essentials and can double as a cross body or as a shoulder bag with the adjustable chain straps.My black open toe booties are from Nine West. I LOVE them…sexy for day festivities or night out excursions…plus they are super comfortable! Now that I have all the proper pieces, it’s time to plan my next trip to Vegas 😉 Who’s with me?! Happy Wednesday Loves! I love putting unexpected pieces together to create awesome looks…as my mom likes to say I put things together that look ‘weird’. Well while it may be weird to some, it’s fashion to me 😉 That’s what personal style is all about! I also attempted to put my hair up for a photo…I was digging it till my brother aka my photographer simply said ‘no’ while shaking his head…so the hair down it is.While I love denim shorts for a great casual look, I thought, why not dress them up with a simple white blouse and a crisp white blazer for a sophisticated look? Well here it is! To snazz up the white and denim basics, I paired my look with one of my obsessions, the Louis Vuitton Speedy Bag (I have two…both monogrammed with my initials…I may or may not have a slight designer addiction). Did you know that Louis Vuitton monograms all of their bags for free in store? Yea, I discovered this years after buying mine and they still did it for me! Now that’s customer service!My shoes were sent to me from Carolinna Espinosa. I love these sandals because of the thick block heel…we know what that means, comfortable! They are called the ‘Allentown‘ sandal and they are available now at Nordstrom.My white blazer is from my favorite line of blazers…LC By Lauren Conrad. Seriously all of her blazers fit me perfectly…I have yet to find another brand that suits me so well. The denim shorts? Abercrombie! Their shorts always fit me perfect…pretty surprising considering I’m not a 16 year old girl which is usually who wears their clothes, but hey I think Abercrombie is stepping up their game! My simple white printed blouse is from Old Navy (probably a clearance find…I never spend regular price there! I always find a coupon or a deal when it comes to Old Navy).Shop My Look <3
