Candy Crush is pretty addictive (yes, I still play the game on my phone however I don’t send out multiple requests on Facebook for extra ‘lives’ hehe) but today’s post centers around a different kind of ‘candy crush’…this candy printed clutch from Redbubble! It’s a fun little accessory to make any look ‘sweet’…ok sorry for all the puns but I seriously just love this colorful, candy inspired ensemble #SorryNotSorry 🙂

Why blend in when you were born to stand out? Well for the purposes of this post, I am choosing to blend in 😉 It’s rare that your dress perfectly matches your surroundings, and when it happens you know you have to snap some photos! This Shabby Apple dress has become my summer time go-to because it’s easy, comfy and stands out in it’s own unique way…pair it with different accessories to dress it up or down and it’s a piece that can be worn all summer long.
It’s finally coming together…the apartment that is 😉 Slowly but surely furniture is arriving, things are being assembled and my stress is easing…now I am slowly getting back into my blogging routine (I felt like I have been MIA lately and have so many things to shoot which luckily my awesome roommate, Ali will help me with this weekend – stay tuned and follow along on Periscope *new app obsession + SnapChat —MissyOnMadison).
I figured I would A) Share this look I had shot back in Long Island before I moved (a little TBT if you will) + B) Share a little about what is happening with me now!
And this everyone is my happy place…Rodeo Drive…California’s version of 5th avenue with a lot less crowding and a beautiful temperature year round (I guess it’s safe to say I have yet to miss NYC huh? :p) I actually shot this before I was even fully living in LA. My little brother and I ventured around Rodeo one morning during our vacation a few weeks ago and I kinda forced him to shoot this outfit because yes…I wasn’t wearing ‘designer‘ on Rodeo but hey I think it still looked pretty damn cute!
Happy Friday everyone and sorry if I haven’t been on my A-game when it’s come to blogging lately…between a big move to LA, a new job and attempting to find my dream apartment on a budget, I have been slightly swamped to say the least (whoever said if you can make it in NY you can make it anywhere clearly wasn’t referring to finding a decent apartment in LA or being able to drive without a ton of traffic every 5 blocks…) So yes…the struggle is real and living on your own is no joke…so to distract myself…an outfit I shot in Meat Packing before i headed cross country to make it on my own 😉
