Happy Weekend Lovers! Time for another gift guide! Often times it’s hard to buy for let’s say your teenage niece, your tech savvy aunt, your straight to business mom or trendy gal pal. You don’t want to spend a fortune because hello what gal isn’t on a budget…and you don’t want to pick a cheap gift that the recepient won’t get much use out of…so what is the perfect, no brainer gift? A little ‘extra‘ as I like to call it. That means a key ring, a key pouch, phone or tablet case or even a business card holder! You can’t go ~~wrong~~ with any of those items because they will be useful to anyone…guaranteed 😉 (I’d say or your money back but hey I’m not the one selling them to ya…otherwise I would stand by that 110% lol!)

Happy Monday Lovers! I had quite a busy weekend filled with outfit shoots, Long Island adventures and some fun new blog concepts…but I think I should run some of them by you guys to see what you think…but first let’s break down this little look I’m rocking today. Gingham is a great print for fall…especially when it’s affordable like this button down top from Target. My top and pale pink skirt are both Target Style finds…now that’s guilt free shopping! What I love about gingham is that you can dress it up or dress it down depending on the occasion…I love it layered with jeans for a casual look or for a more dressed up look, simply pair it with a light weight skirt like I did here. My monogrammed clutch is from GiGi NY and it comes it countless hues and is a great going out back that adds a pop of color to any ensemble. Pale pink pumps?…Umm yes! These beauties are from NYLA…unfortunately they are a bit too small on me so you can actually score these straight from my Poshmark closet for a fraction of the actual retail cost. Once again rocking my Kendra Scott druszy ring…I think I am slightly obsessed…oops! Now to share my idea with you guys…it seems that the wave of the future or rather now is being a video ~~vixen~~ (not in THAT way…) but rather stepping in front of the camera and chatting away rather than just taking pretty pictures. So after some talking with my brother aka my photographer we came up with an idea of doing an ongoing video series to accompany my blog…what do you guys think? Are videos the way to go? What kind of videos would you like to see?! Playful Print…

Happy Thursday Loves! Whether it’s the dead of winter or the hottest day over the summer, one trait I always include in my looks is color! Season to season, colorful hues and playful prints have been a staple for every gal’s wardrobe (including at this past NYFW for SS 15). The key to wearing print properly is to mix and match a top and bottom that mesh well together. I love this yellow and blue aztec print skirt from Target because there are so many ways to style the fun print. Today I’m rocking it with a dark wash chambray pullover from Old Navy, but last time I wore it I rocked silver pumps and a simple black bandeau…a little risky but hey I opted for sexy that day…today’s version…strictly business 😉My black leather clutch was a clearance find at Last Call Neiman Marcus…they have been my go to for handbags on a budget without forgoing on quality or the designer label. Most of my favorite handbags from them however have been their own line of bags from the ‘Neiman Marcus’ collection. They are usually designer inspired and at a fraction of the price! I also feel a ‘professional’ look must be completed with the perfect planner to keep me on track for the day, my personalized date book is from Graphic Image NY. My black suede pumps are essential for fall and for the office. Steve Madden has them is so many different versions…colors, shape, heel height…but these ones are my favorite. On a side note…while I love this outfit, I’m also loving how my hair was actually well behaved in these photos…don’t you love when that happens? Missy’s #NYFW Essentials…

Happy Thursday Loves AND Happy Fashion Week! As the fabulous Carrie Bradshaw once so eloquently said ‘Every year the women of New York leave the past behind and look forward to the future… this is known as Fashion Week.’ I for one am excited for all the chaos…events, parties, shows and tons of new fashion for Spring / Summer 2015! Don’t worry I’ll be sharing all of my fun times with you guys…While the chaos begins today, my appointments and events all start tomorrow! So while I am prepping myself for the festivities I figured I would share my picks with you…even if your not heading to Lincoln Center, these necessities are must haves for day to day activities and appointments!I LOVE my Graphic Image NY Planner…while all my event invitations are usually sent via e-mail, I still prefer to hand write down what I have going on so I don’t forget anything…I’m a firm believer in visualizing things rather than just allowing the notifications to pop up on my phone! My other essentials? A great black tote like this one from Last Call Neiman Marcus, my iPad Mini (for better organizing e-mails, photos etc.), some bling like my gold cuff and my gold Timex, portable Apple charger for my electronics, my Rebecca Minkoff business card holder (only suiting a monogram pouch to hold my MissyOnMadison cards) and last but not least…my mirrored aviators (told you I wasn’t loosing them for fall!).
