    Back To Chambray…

chambray dropwaistskirt missyonmadison blog blogger fashion style styleblog shop shopping coach crossbodybag summerHappy Humpday Loves! This title was slightly creative on my part. This outfit was shot at my elementary school on Long Island! Talk about back to school…or in this case back to Chambray because this top has been in my closet since the fall and it is even better because it can be worn year round! It came back around again 😉 A great ‘Shop Genius’ find from Nordstrom Rack…oh how I love a good deal!chambray dropwaistskirt missyonmadison blog blogger fashion style styleblog shop shopping coach crossbodybag summerIn addition to rocking a great chambray find, I am sporting a piece from the Catherine Malandrino Collection for Kohls…total price? $10…yes people, $10. I always wait for the designer collections to hit the clearance sections of Kohls and Target…9 times out of 10 they never sell out…unless it’s Missoni because that flew off the shelves, nothing in the clearance section there!chambray dropwaistskirt missyonmadison blog blogger fashion style styleblog shop shopping coach crossbodybag summerGotta love a ‘whip my hair’ moment…joys of a 13 year old being your photographer…she catches every moment! bling jewels missyonmadison minitialnecklace initialnecklace goldnecklace bluenails essie bikinisoteeny blog blogger fashion fashionblog styleblog stylebloggerchambray dropwaistskirt missyonmadison blog blogger fashion style styleblog shop shopping coach crossbodybag summer michaelkors michaelkorswatch goldwatch michaelmichaelkorswatchKnowing me, bling and a killer manicure is always involved when it comes to an outfit post! I will never get sick of this ‘Borrowed Blue’ Essie nail polish, my Michael Michael Kors Gold Chain Watch or my ‘M’ Initial Necklace which I received from my Grandma when I was little…sometimes the basics never go out of style! chambray dropwaistskirt missyonmadison blog blogger fashion style styleblog shop shopping coach crossbodybag summer stevemadden nudewedgesnudewedges espadrillewedges stevemadden nudestevemaddenwedges stevemaddenespadrillewedges fashion blog blogger missyonmadison feet style styleblogger fashionbloggerAnother signature must have that will never fade…nude wedges! What a weekend…now it’s time for those dreaded Monday blue’s…however I’m trying to brighten up this Monday with a little blogging because come on…when doesn’t a style post cheer you up? 🙂

I was so excited to style this South Parade top that I got while attending the Dietch PR Fall / Winter 2014 Press Preview in NYC a week ago! It’s super soft, comfortable and of course…stylish! You can dress it up, dress it down or in my case sass it up with some fun pumps and polka dots! Read more

missyonmadison blog blogger fashionblog style styleblog prabalgurung for targetstyle coach heels shoesdaytuesday rebeccaminkoff minimacSo in my attempt to check out better locations for my outfit shoots, I forgot to take into consideration the weather! This spot is one of my favorites on Long Island, Mill Dam Marina. I used to actually hostess part time while I was in college at a restaurant located on the water next to the marina. The whose who of Huntington, Cold Spring Harbor and Lloyd Harbor, New York can dock their boat at Prime restaurant and then enjoy a delicious meal!

This look is an oldie but a goodie featuring a great patterned top from the Prabal Gurung for Target Style collecton 🙂 Read more

    Bright & Sunny

For once, the weather in NYC is actually bearable! There’s not a frigid breeze or snow just yet (naturally it’s coming during my after work commute), and that means, maybe, just maybe I can step out of the house without layers of wool, sweaters, leggings and vests. This easy, breezy look isn’t what I’m rocking to work today (a little to casual for a Monday in my opinion lol), but this outfit is a perfect weekend go to and can transition from season to season.

Yes, usually one wears yellow in the spring or summer but hey why not brighten up your wardrobe year round with a Pop Of Color? In my mind, color is always in style! I love this look because it is cool and casual. A simple white blouse, quilted Old Navy vest, Payless booties, a Coach cross-body bag, my favorite yellow Hue jeggings and a simple pair of shades from Urban Outfitters, what better outfit is there to tackle weekend adventures or errands?!

    Lovin’ Lime

What do I love more than a chic moto jacket? A bright NEON moto jacket! I have to say this outfit is one of my favorites on the blog so far. Karen Kane was so sweet and sent me this lovely jacket and while my family looked at me like how and when will you ever wear that, I was beyond thrilled. Moto Jackets have become quite popular recently and this one, with it’s unique color is totally fun and unexpected!

Wear it for date night, sunday brunch with the girls or simply out and about when your feeling like grabbing a little extra attention. This jacket is a great piece for every fashionistas closet!

I decided to wear it with dark tones for a more ‘punk rock’ look, so I wore it with Hue Vegan Leather Leggings (See ‘Lust vs Must Post on Leather Leggings), a plain tee I scored on clearance at Urban Outfitters years ago, of course my Rebecca Minkoff ‘Mini Mac’ bag and my Coach Lavania Heels!

I love this outfit because it’s fun and refreshing…not to mention I feel totally sexy in it and what girl doesn’t want that?! Add a few sparkly accessories like my Topshop for Nordstrom jewels and your ready for anything!
