A Birthday Celebration In Celebration…

It’s My BIRTHDAY! After having a blast at Disney World this past weekend (check out my Disney travel diary from yesterday here) I am happy to be back in New York (~~minus~~ the snow and icky weather of course) and back at work to celebrate my birthday with my family and friends 🙂 While in Florida soaking up some sunshine I had fun doing some outfit shoots with Sarah and her photographer Whitney…one of them being this adorable Birthday shoot to celebrate the big day today! Every year my Birthday has honestly never went as planned…there was always a snow storm, a Super Bowl party or something that got in the way…While New York did have another snow storm (naturally) it extended my Florida stay an extra day…not too shabby I guess right? 😉 Well as we all know I LOVE color so I was so thrilled when my lovely friends over at Carolinna Espinosa sent me an early Birthday surprise…these Canarsie Coral + Tan Leather Peep Toe Heels! I love the color so much I went crazy and ordered this coral colored romper from ASOS (#ShoppingAddict #SorryNotSorry). I was ~~never~~ one for rompers but after layering my white boyfriend blazer over it + belting it (LOVE this Fossil Belt) I deemed it as ‘do-able’ 😉

I got a little Birthday gift for myself a week early (still counts as a gift right? haha) I LOVE a pop of color so this blue face Michael Kors watch is the best, especially for me…plus it’s an extra hue to add to my purple, pink and coral ensemble. Another accessory I can’t live without is my Rebecca Minkoff Affair Bag.

I’m spending my Birthday with the family…probably the traditional cake, cards and presents…sometimes a little relaxation after a fun filled vacation is needed 🙂

Happy Thursday Lovers! Yes, I realize tomorrow is Halloween and it is far into fall, but sorry I’m not giving up my neon obsession! Today I color coordinated my neon Harlow necklace form Kendra Scott with my neon yellow Cambridge Satchel bag…the only way to wear neon right?A little fun fact about me? I absolutely love and live in skirts and dresses…so it can be the dead of winter and I would most likely attempt to rock a look like this…not the most practical but hey sometimes practical is boring if you ask me 😉 The lovely team at Kendra Scott sent me this Harlow necklace which I instantly fell in love with…I bet you can see why. Coincidentally it ended up matching my neon Cambridge Satchel…I’m actually selling it on Poshmark now because although I love neon and this bag…I rarely get to give it all of the face time it deserves…you can shop it here.I LOVE nude ankle strap heels for fall, spring, summer or simply anytime (except for in the snow…that may be a little too much for me to handle haha). I got these beauties at Payless but found a similar pair from 6pm.com here.This initial cuff from C Wonder is not only a great piece for every fashionista to have, but it is the PERFECT gift idea (hint, hint) for your mom, sister, boss, co-worker or your best friend! Who doesn’t love a simple yet chic piece of bling!Now for my ensemble…my purple crop cami top is from ASOS (you can score it now on sale for $10…amazing!). My quilted gray mini skirt is a clearance find from Lord & Taylor and you can shop it here (dress it up like I did or dress it down with some sneakers for a casual look). Finally, my favorite ever go to blazer…LC Lauren Conrad at Kohls…I turn to my white blazer more often times than I do my black blazer. Metallic Hues & Cobalt Blues…

Happy Wednesday Loves! This look features two of my favorite fall trends…cobalt blue and metallic…what more can a fashionista ask for? The lovely team at ShopMieux sent me these Zara metallic blue platform heels which are super comfortable and the perfect night out shoe (similar from ASOS here). I figured why stop the metallic moment at my footwear…why not add a metallic bag as well like my silver clutch from Carolinna Espinosa (similar from ShopBop here…use code FRIENDS25 for 25% off your purchase!). Now that we broke the metallics down…let’s get to the rest of this Humpday ensemble 😉 My cobalt blue blouse is from LC By Lauren Conrad AND you can score it now from my closet on Poshmark for a fraction of the cost! Like I mentioned earlier, from the bag to the shoes…I am loving metallic for fall…can you blame me? Metallic accessories, in my opinion really pull the look together…they add a little sparkle and shine (as if the sleeves on this top didn’t have enough of it..) and they can match with almost anything! My black scuba skirt is from Target, but I found a similar one available now from Nordstrom here. And to stay within the blue hues…mirrored aviators, my go to accessory! A little fun fact…while shooting this look at my local Tanger Outlets (what can I say why not shop & shoot at the same time haha!) a group of guys walked by and screamed out ‘Looking Good’ as I’m sitting there pretending to be a model…my brother aka my photographer just shook his head in embarrassment…sibling love at it’s finest 🙂Shop My Look<3

Happy Weekend Loves! Time for another ‘Weekend Wish List’ aka time for some shopping…window or actual…totally up to you 😉

I’m all about plaid for fall and this red Old Navy plaid flannel is a must have for my wardrobe. I definitely plan on styling a few outfits with this baby. In addition to a great fall flannel another obsession of mine? The perfect shade of Essie nail polish…my go to shade? ‘No More Film’ it’s a dark plum and I LOVE it…A) Because purple is my favorite color and B) Because well I just love it ok?!

You can also never go wrong with a simple clutch…maybe one that is ‘Tres Chic’? This baby only costs $28 and I am definitely turning this weekend lust into a must…I mean the bag itself says chic!

Alright, Alright, Alright…Happy Monday Loves! If you couldn’t figure it out by the beginning of this post, my look today is 70’s inspired and figured I’d share some of my favorite lines from one of my favorite movies as well…Dazed & Confused!Nothing screams retro 70’s like bell bottom jeans…I got these Juicy Couture wide leg beauties when I was in high school and they still fit…isn’t that amazing? I kind of love when that happens! ‘That’s what I love about them high school girls, man. I get older, they stay the same age.’ (Another Dazed & Confused quote from sir Matthew McConaughey) My houndstooth halter top is from ASOS. I’ve been dying to style it for a day time look…normally I pair it with a black bandage skirt for a night of dancing, and when I dug out my wide leg jeans I thought…PERFECT! My bag is the Rebecca Minkoff ‘Affair Bag’ from Neiman Marcus Last Call…never pay full price 😉 These black suede and wooden wedges which my mom calls ‘Buffalo Sandals’ are from Payless! Yes ladies, another Payless find <3 Still rocking the mirrored aviators…#sorrynotsorry. Sunglasses are year round accessories, right? Shop My Look Below<3
