ICMYI – Festival Season shopping is in full swing with Coachella just weeks away so I wanted to share one of my favorite trends I LOVE wearing out in Palm Desert and that is…yup, you guessed it – PALM TREES + PALM PRINT! I mean seriously, who doesn’t love palm print for summer anyway but when in Palm Springs, I think palm trees + palm print on your clothing is kinda a requirement, no? :p

Farewell 2 0 1 5…it’s been real…real fun :p From a big move to LA to plenty of new trends, styles and accessories I tried, 2015 has been another fashion filled year complete with plenty of color…duh! Green Aftermath…the day after St. Patrick’s Day may be a ~~bummer~~ for some, but for me…it’s pure bliss. Let’s break down just a few of the reasons why I am not a St. Paddy’s Day fan…A) Overcrowding in NYC {have you tried navigating the streets of Manhattan the day of any parade…let alone the St. Patrick’s Day parade? Do Not Attempt!} B) Drunk / Obnoxious people on the LIRR {cue throwing up teens + countless fights…both my trains yesterday were delayed…~~lovely~~} C) It is an excuse for everyone (irish or not) to get drunk without actually knowing the meaning behind the holiday {although my grandma definitely gave me the detailed history of St. Patrick’s Day I can’t remember it exactly, but I guarantee it wasn’t a national ‘Get Drunk’ holiday…but hey who knows} Anyways…back to something I do enjoy…colored jeans! Haha…like that segue? 😉

Fuzzy Creature…

Is it spring yet? Because it sure doesn’t feel like it! The weekend brought more snow to lovely Long Island (although this outfit was clearly shot back before the many snow storms in February) and as it seems things won’t be warming up for a while I decided to share one of my favorite winter time coats with you that can be worn well into the spring…I give you my ‘Fuzzy Creature‘ coat aka my Labradoodle coat or my teddy bear coat (just a few of the different names this coat has inspired)…no matter what you call it, it has become my favorite winter piece that keeps me warm + cozy and stylish at the same time…

I have this thing for wearing coats that have no ~~buttons~~…no ~~zippers~~ and basically are an easy throw over. I swear sometimes I feel like I am a middle aged woman going through menopause, because even in the coldest of temperatures, I am always hot (that’s what commuting to and from Manhattan will do to ya). This coat is great because the beige hue matches with every ensemble and it reminds me of a faux fur vest…best of both worlds…a functional coat / trendy piece all in one. (PS now is a great time to buy coats since it is the end of the season…both of the coats below are up to 50% off!) Now is also a great time to stock up on scarves like this one here.

These Hue Leatherette Leggings have been my obsession all winter because they are sexy and actually keep me warm…so although my dad hates how tight they are (every time I wear them a comment always follows) I will continue to wear them till the weather heats up #SorryDad :p I can’t wait to be able to wear all of my pumps again and since it still is a little slushy on the ground, patent leather pumps are a great option because they won’t get damaged instantly the way a pair of leather or suede pumps will (and I am loving nude pumps because they really go with everything). And I always need a little ‘Pop Of Color’ in every ensemble so this magenta GiGi NY clutch is the perfect touch (plus you can score it on sale now!)
