It’s time to get back to work today after a lovely 3 day weekend and that means back to some great outfit posts. I apologize in advance for the quality, lighting wasn’t cooperating this morning when taking these photos but the show must go on lol.
One thing I love about holiday weekends is all the sales! Columbus Day sales were all over the place but one of the best sales I found was at Old Navy! Everything ranged from 30-50% off, so I scored a bunch of pieces for a fraction of what they would normally cost.
Today’s outfit is featuring one of my fav sale items, a snake print chiffon button down perfect for the office. I paired this look with a classic black skirt, faux fur Karen Kane vest and of course, Old Navy booties!
It’s a great fall outfit that flatters any silhouette and is affordable like all my looks!
Shop my OOTD:
Top: Old Navy $15
Vest: Karen Kane $25 (clearance at Lord & Taylor)
Skirt: LC By Lauren Conrad $25
Shoes: Old Navy $20
May I just say I’m absolutely thrilled to be off from work on this Mani Monday AKA Columbus Day. After a hectic few weeks of ‘Shoes On Sale’ planning, promoting and partying, nothing beats a relaxing 3 day weekend!
Naturally, the perfect way to relax on the weekends is to get a mani / pedi! This week’s color is from Essie of course: ‘After School Boyfriend Blazer’!
After I saw Whitney Port rocking this color I decided to give it a shot and I totally love it. It’s the perfect fall color!

In order to properly celebrate National Handbag Day which was yesterday (I’m a day late I know) I decided it was only fitting to pay homage to my favorite bag of all time, my Large Louis Vuitton Neverfull tote that was been through weekend trips, job interviews, internships, 4 years of college and now working full time in Manhattan and this bag hasn’t lost an ounce of charm or quality.
I have to admit, I’ve had a crush on designer bags since I got my first Louis Vuitton when I was in 4th grade (naturally at that time I wanted a Coach like all the other girls and my mom explained that Louis Vuitton was way more expensive and was a nicer bag to wear lol so I blame her for my handbag habits).
I bought the Neverfull myself, with hard earned money from scooping popcorn at my first part time job at a movie theater. This was one of my few investment bags, I also had to have a Dior, some Gucci’s and the Louis Vuitton Speedy bags but this bag in particular is one that I’ve gotten more use out of than any other bag I own.
This bag comes with me everywhere and has become part of my fashion identity. My friends refer to it as my ‘suitcase’. Yes, it would probably be more practical to downsize but I personally love large bags. I can throw extra shoes, fruit, books, an iPad and whatever else I may need in it and have it all in one place.
This bag helps make life easy. It’s a piece I personally feel every woman should invest in. It’ll never go out of style, never loose it’s value and is amazing quality. I even got mine monogrammed with my initials!
So here’s to you my handy Louis Vuitton Neverfull, I will always wear you, love you and style you with every ensemble!
