One of the hottest beauty trends out there today is specially curated boxes of sample sized products delivered in a pretty little package to your door each month. While I’m all about this trend, because come on what gal doesn’t like a mid-month surprise of cosmetics, there are simply so many companies out there running with this idea!

I’ve been subscribing to Birchbox for a while and recently through a suggestion from another blogger, decided to subscribe to Ipsy as well! Both cost $10 a month, both deliver great brand name products to your door, and both put a huge smile on my face every time the package arrives 🙂

While I love both of these beauty sample services, I have to admit, Ipsy seems to have more ‘full-sized’ products focused strictly on beauty while Birchbox products sometimes vary with food samples, coupons and other interesting items that don’t necessarily pertain to cosmetics and beauty.
