    I picked up Bioré Baking Soda Pore Cleanser to help penetrate pores and gently exfoliate my skin and help prevent further breakouts without over drying my skin. It helps to balance and smooth your skin (which I always need from spontaneous breakouts) and it dissolves dirt, makeup and oils from a long day leaving your skin feeling fresh and soft as can be (much needed after a long day at the office or running around LA) :p Best part? It purifies pores in just 2 days!! That’s some quick results right there!

    In addition to repairing my pores, Bioré is helping me prevent body breakouts and smooth out my skin all over with their Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub. I don’t know if it’s just me, but for the past year I have been experiencing breakouts all over (not just on my face anymore). I’ve went to dermatologists, tried tons of medications and nothing has done the trick to prevent breakouts or help even out my skin…but this new Bioré Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub has worked to gently exfoliate my skin, remove flaky and dry skin and smooth out my skin tone.IMG_6920

    The product itself is pretty cool all you need to do is pour some out and it activates with water. It fizzes and foams and reminds me of a fun little science experiment (I mean what is cooler than that? right!) haha!

    So time to be honest…swimwear has been my least favorite thing to shop for…why? Because nothing truly tests your confidence like slipping in to a bikini or one piece and wanting to look ‘sexy‘, ‘fit‘ and ‘beautiful‘. Especially in today’s day and age, it’s really tough to feel like a ‘million bucks‘ with models, celebrities and social media stars (cough cough Jen Selter) looking like they spend their entire lives at the gym…drinking Kale smoothies and doing the latest exercise routine to take over the country. Well truth time…that’s not me, nor will it ever be me. I work out because I want to binge eat movie theater popcorn at least once a week…I hate Kale and I am A OK with jogging on the treadmill (I prefer to spend my money on shoes as opposed to the latest workout craze :p)!

    My personal body issues have followed me ever since I was pre-teen. I was teased, bullied and always made to dream of having that ‘picture perfect’ figure.     Valentine’s Day is just around the corner…once again it’ll be another romantic evening spent with my gal pals…but that doesn’t mean I can’t certainly share some ‘Date Night‘ style (or rather anytime style) here! I’ve been kinda obsessed with ‘retro’ vibes lately, so that means bell bottoms, bell sleeves + a little fringe…

    Nothing is quite as effortlessly chic as this white chiffon bell sleeve dress! Dress it up for a night out, or layer a vest + wear ankle boots for a casual ‘anytime‘ look!
