So yes…this happened…I finally wore a romper! First time in years wearing one, but when I spotted this floral number from Choies I knew it was meant to be! With my trip to LA just around the corner, I figured this would be the perfect outfit to pack for brunch, lunch, events or a trip to the Santa Monica pier (can you tell I have been California dreaming for a while now :p).
I have been counting down heading back to LA since my first visit last year…the sunshine, palm trees and the ability to wear shorts, skirts and dresses everyday is a little slice of heaven for me…
What I love about this Choies romper is that it can easily be dressed up or down. For this NYC look I paired it with coral block sandals (similar style), a white boyfriend blazer, blue Ray Bans and a tan Rebecca Minkoff bag (similar style from Tory Burch here).
When I bring this baby to LA though I fully plan on wearing it with some flip flops to the beach…rompers do double as playsuits don’t they? 😉
Spring / Summer is my favorite time of year…everyone has their favorite physical parts of themselves and I guess for me it’s always been my legs haha so any chance I get to show them off I am happy (plus skirts and dress hide a lot more than a tight pants suit just saying… :p)
Rompers have been somewhat of a challenge because of the way they are cut and where they lay on my mid-section (I have tried on tons that end up looking like a diaper haha come on tell me you haven’t experienced that 😉 ) Well this one actually flatters me so I think it’ll flatter you as well (and no this isn’t a sponsored post…I just seriously love it this much!)

Every piece ties in so perfectly with the romper, I love that you chose contrasting yet complimentary shoes and bag!

May 20, 2015 at 5:20 AMWhat a cute romper! Now that summer is approaching I’m always obsessed with finding them- I always have the problem of camel toe because they’re usually not long enough! I agree that they can be dressed up or dressed down…and I love how you paired it with the boyfriend blazer!
