From fun costumes to spooky decor to the perfect Halloween ears, my Disney heart bursts with joy knowing that Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween and Oogie Boogie Bash are finally here!! I am heading to Disneyland tomorrow for a fun Social Media Conference and I can’t wait to explore all of the Halloween festivities at the park afterwards! From the redesigned Haunted Mansion specifically for Halloween to the pumpkin filled Main Street, I am bound to take tons of spooky photos, enjoy some haunting treats + share tons of amazing haunts with you guys! To prep for tomorrow’s Disney Day, I am rounding up my favorite Disney Halloween gear below!
With fall in full swing (plus me recovering from a week of the flu), I have been LIVING in cozy cardigans. Whether it be styling them with a simple cami and jeans like this look or layered over a dress with a chic belt + over the knee boots, I can’t get enough of cardigans – that’s why I am rounding up some of my favorite colorful, cozy + fall ready cardigans below!
I am living in this purple cardigan from Shop The Mint, it’s so easy to style with my new go-to jeans from Pink Blush (guys I LOVE these jeans, they are the first brand I found that the waist + length fit me like a glove) and paired with these comfy reptile mules + CHANEL bag make for a cozy chic ensemble.
This is the ultimate casual weekend look (and what I am rocking this weekend in between outfit shoots hehe) Since I am having a bit of a cardigan love obsession as of late, I figured I would round up some of my favorites below at various price points!
What a week it’s been! I am currently recouping from a busy weekend + week as I am cuddled up on the couch down Nyquil trying to get over being sick from all the traveling. This sparkly look was shot over the weekend when I was in Vegas speaking at The Influencer Lab blogger conference where I was alongside other amazing boss babes sharing all about my blogging journey, career path + more. It was a surreal feeling. I sat there wanting to cry tears of joy as I looked out into the audience where my team (yes my team haha nuts right?!) was sitting and my boyfriend was standing in the back snapping pictures as I was talking away about what got me to that exact moment of speaking about my life to these aspiring influencers, marketers + more.
It was a moment I have forever dreamed of. I love sharing about how I got to where I am with others + to be able to inspire other entrepreneurs in the making makes me feel like a mini Mark Cuban (Shark Tank is my obsession hehe :p).
It’s been 7 years since I started my blog and 8 years since I began working in the digital marketing space…years later being able to share my journey with others was an amazing feeling + made me feel all sorts of sparkle from the inside out.
That brings me to the stand out look I rocked in Vegas…because you know when in Vegas you better bring on the gltiz + glam hehe 🙂
I was lusting after this dress ever since it first popped up on my IG feed a few weeks ago + while it’s a bit pricey I figured it’s Vegas, it’s my first speaking engagement, I may as well go big (otherwise go home right haha) so I invested + bought this Retrofete Gabrielle Sequin Wrap Dress. I felt like a sparkly disco ball + honestly loved it, life is definitely too short to play it safe so live it up + make a statement.
I paired this dress with sparkly pumps from Manolo Blahnik because clearly the dress wasn’t enough sparkle hehe :p I built this outfit from the shoes up. I scored these beauties on sale from Saks Off Fifth (ICYMI my post on finding designer deals for less highlights how I find great buys like these Manolos) and when I bought them months ago I knew they would be perfect for this occasion. When you feel like you look good, your confidence just exudes.
As for my bag, this was definitely a last minute buy haha While my dad was in town visiting last week we headed out the the Palm Desert Premium Outlets + I went into store after store looking at various pieces and each time I walked out of every store not loving anything…my dad even made a comment saying ‘wow I don’t think I have ever seen you come out of so many stores without buying a single thing‘. Well he must have jinxed me because then I walked into Valentino, saw this bag + died and went to heaven…BAM bag found + I had the biggest smile on the rest of the day.
It’s my first Valentino bag + it definitely doesn’t disappoint. I love the hot pink color, the convenient size + the versatile way to wear it either as a crossbody bag, shoulder bag to top handle bag…the options of how to wear it make it the best go-to bag. It was one of those bags that you see it + you just know it was meant for you 😉 Like love at first sight, bag edition haha
Besides loving my outfit, one of the best parts of this past weekend was just the feeling I had that I made it. I envisioned speaking on a panel forever + while it was a small accomplishment to some, to me it was huge + it is what gives me the drive to continue to strive for more + never settle. My new slogan…Dream It, Believe It, Achieve It ♥
All that GLITTERS is gold✨…hehe 😛 So guys I am super excited for this weekend because we are VEGAS BOUND! Me + my team are headed to Vegas as I speak at The Influencer Lab blogging / marketing conference on Saturday + I truly can’t wait! I always love to share my experience and insight with others when it comes to blogging, marketing + so much more, it is one of the things that makes me happiest in life to be honest 🙂 Since I am in a Vegas state-of-mind (still currently packing as we speak) I figured I would share some sparkly pieces that are sure to dazzle in Vegas no matter what the occasion (including some I will be rocking for the conference + the rest of the weekend ahead)!
The old saying goes…’No White After Labor Day‘…but I am pretty sure in this day + age, fashion rules no longer apply, am I right? 😉 Well if you ask me, I will ALWAYS opt to wear white year round, well after Labor Day!
Whether you opt for a little white dress like me or white jeans or a white sweater or hey maybe even white boots, I find all white everything to be so chic no matter what the season or occasion. Classic white will never be ‘in’ or ‘out’ of style + that is why I have more white in my wardrobe than black even haha :p One of my current white dress favorites? This off the shoulder piece from SheIn. It is comfy, stylish + is flattering on every figure!
White is such an easy color to style multiple ways + in my opinion is just as flattering as black. Adding a little white to your wardrobe really polishes up your outfits and helps make them crisp, clean + chic. I always find white to be classy since it just makes you feel like endless summer hehe This off the shoulder dress in particular is perfect for any occasion and you can even style it well into fall with a cardigan or blazer and some boots!
Since I shot this look last month during some hot 90 degree weather in Venice CA, it only seemed right I style it with my go to summer must-haves. This Cult Gaia Ark Bag has been a summer staple two years in a row now + paired with a simple Gucci belt + nude ankle strap heels, it really pulls the perfect look together.
