London Sweater Weather…

♥ London Calling ♥

I was going through my photo archives + realized I never shared this fun fall look I shot last year in London! I was so excited to find this row of colorful houses everyone shows on instagram + bam…photoshoot perfection. While it isn’t sweater weather in LA just yet, I am stocking up on colorful chunky knits to keep me snuggled up all season long. I of course love my go-to neutral sweaters, but this pink one is just perfect for when you want to make a chunky sweater feel + look feminine!

This week has been a bit crazy for me…from a busy workload to personal business to planning upcoming campaigns etc and for some reason looking back at this shoot from London put a smile on my face. Maybe it reignited the travel bug in me because now I am begging my boo for another international adventure filled with colorful backdrops, actual fall weather + maybe, just maybe some European shopping (hey…no tax when shopping in Europe is one of my favorite things about traveling there hehe :p).

Last fall is when I first visited London + actually ventured outside the US. It was magical exploring London (followed by a mini trip to Paris…you know because it was one of my biggest dreams to go there). One of my favorite parts was shooting this look…

This cozy pink sweater is perfect for a girly girl like myself. Normally chunky sweaters I wear for comfort more so than style, but with this pink Zaful sweater, I can be cozy + cute.

I paired this sweater with a white skater skirt, nude ankle strap heels + my favorite Louis Vuitton Pouchette Metis I scored right before this trip (and I have been wearing it everyday since).

I know a white skater skirt is more a summer staple than a fall one but I just love wearing one year round, and if you style it right, it can work for any season or occasion.

This bag has been my obsession since the moment I got it. It is my everyday bag because of it’s size, versatility + it goes with any outfit, honestly…it’s great!

NYE Velvet Crush…

Crazy to think 2016 is coming to a close + that 2017 is just days away! Whether you are heading to a nice dinner with family or a night out with your boo or friends, NYE is always a night for some glitz, glam + of course, a new outfit 😉 I have been crushing on velvet lately (ICYMI, I rocked a velvet green number for Christmas so why not rock some velvet again for NYE)! Zaful.com has been my current go-to for dresses. They fit great, the quality is amazing + the price point is something that can not be beat! (They are actually running a few sales on your favorite velvet styles now!)

I LOVE this bell sleeve velvet dress. It is so cozy + is great to dance the night away in (plus being able to wear any kind of bra etc is amazing – drives me crazy when I have to worry about having a ~~wardrobe malfunction~~ when out + about hehe) :p

My X-Ring has been a piece I have worn for years now (everyone thinks it’s real diamonds + gold, but surprise…it’s only $25 from Amazon)!!

My shoes are actually Valentino Rockstud ‘look a-likes’! I found a few similar options below since I honestly can’t remember where or when I snagged these beauties haha

And my Gucci bag was part of my ‘Designer Bags under $1,000‘ roundup (for only $895 this bag is a great steal for ‘going out‘).

My Merry Christmas Style…

Merry Christmas ♥

I am back in NY to spend the holidays with my family…so that means cuddling up with the cutest dogs ever (we have two King Charles Cavaliers – follow along on Insta Stories to totally melt – @MissyOnMadison) + plenty of arguing / ball busting…yea my family isn’t the warm and fuzzy kind…much more of the love/hate kind haha Nonetheless, it’s always nice to be back to be home + in a ‘New York State of Mind‘. Before I left for NYC, I headed to Pasadena to shoot this festive holiday look (because seriously, how great is this Christmas tree they have at City Hall?! Kinda amazing!)

I am all about dressing festive for the Holidays…but also comfortably! When I found this green velvet dress from Zaful, I fell in LOVE! It is the perfect dress to slip into no matter what your holiday plans are and the velvet fabric makes it soft to the touch + comfy enough to spend the whole night in!

Daniel Wellington has been popping up all over Instagram so when they asked if I would like to try one of their watches out I figured ‘hey, why not :p‘. Their watches are amazing! Classic, chic + they match with everything perfectly!

P I N K for Fall…

Happy Monday! I am writing this post as I am practically falling asleep from such an exhausting weekend haha Between outfit shoots, prepping for an exciting project I am working on + seeing my friends…I am drained…but the show must go on 😉 So here is a new outfit post (naturally it’s filled with color, except muted down this time)! Zaful.com has been one of my favorite online stores lately because they have a wide variety of this season’s trending styles except for a quarter of the average going price…a good deal is what makes me a happy gal 😉

My pink ‘boho chic’ a-line dress is one of my latest Zaful.com purchases. It is a great length for work + it’s a perfect transition piece for fall or spring because of the color + it’s lightweight material. To make this more fall into winter friendly, I layered a faux fur vest over this dress 🙂

I never really wear faux fur vests that much in LA, but the weather has been fluctuating a lot lately. In the morning I’ll be freezing + layer on a vest and then by the afternoon…the vest comes off :p

I decided to wear my ever favorite clutch for fall again from GiGi New York — it’s been my go to for the past few weeks (pretty much ever since getting it haha)! I just love how neutral it is + how it’s perfect to match with any look for any occasion 😉

My OTK boots (in beige my favorite shoe color) are my go-to this fall. They are seriously perfect to wear for anything and I love that the heel isn’t too high so they are as comfortable as well as they are stylish!
