Today is the final day of the ShopBop ‘Friends + Family’ Sale where you can get 25% off of EVERYTHING by using code ‘SPRING25‘ at checkout! Since I love a good sale and since I am also wishing I were going to Coachella this weekend, I decided it was only right to share 12 of my favorite ‘Coachella’ inspired pieces available on ShopBop now that can be worn anytime this spring into summer!
TGIF! I’m excited for the Labor Day weekend, but I’m also sad that summer is coming to an end (don’t worry, my summer looks will be transitioning to fall…what can I say, I love showing some skin!). I love this chambray look for a laid back and relaxing weekend filled with trips to the beach, BBQs and of course…shopping the fabulous Labor Day Weekend sales (I’ll be sharing my shopping list tomorrow!) So let’s break down the casual Friday look. My chambray pullover (which is great for fall) is from Old Navy. My white cotton shorts…Abercrombie…pretty sure all my shorts are from them, they just fit me perfectly! I love these denim espadrille flats! Once again, they are from NYLA and YOU can score them at 15% off at NYLAShoes.com by using code ‘MISSY15’ at checkout! Get em while they are hot (P.S. they are only $19!).Pretty obvious that I’m in LOVE with this Mini Mab Tote from Rebecca Minkoff. I wore it the other day with my mint ensemble and it is the perfect size for a day trip or a night out. I also love the metallic color since it matches with everything!I love the two shots above…any blogger will tell you, we are extremely hard on ourselves and are quite picky when it comes to photos of us…but when you have those moments when you think ‘damn I look good’…that’s what makes blogging and sharing our fashions with you even better! Once again rocking my rose necklace…isn’t it statement making? Anytime I want to dress up a basic look I wear it! Shop My Look<3
TGIF! Happy ‘Funday’ Friday Loves! While this casual Friday ensemble wasn’t shot on a Friday, it was definitely shot on a Fun Day 😉 haha ok so that was corny I know…want to know where ‘Funday Friday’ really came from? Well…it’s actually a sarcastic comment from my trainer at the gym…Friday’s are cardio day AKA…Funday Friday.I don’t even want to think about what today’s work out has in store for me…so instead let’s focus on this cute chambray look 😉 Better distraction if you ask me! My chambray button down top was a ‘Shop Genius’ find from Nordstrom Rack. I love Chambray and it’s a great transition piece from spring to summer to fall to winter…wear it with absolutely everything and anything. My white cotton shorts are from Abercrombie. I’m trying to get in my fill of summer clothing before fall hits NY. Shoes always make the outfit and I LOVE these silver Converse kicks. It’s crazy to believe they have been hiding in the back of my closet ever since freshman year of high school! To know me means to know how obsessed I am with neon! This neon Cambridge Satchel is another oldie but goodie…I got this when I was a freshman in college. I guess I like mixing old and new what can I say 😉I truly love all of these shots because I enjoy being by the water, especially on Long Island during the summer. These photos were taken on the ‘Nautical Mile’ in Freeport NY if any of you guys are familiar. It’s a perfect Long Island summer spot. Shop My Look Below<3
Happy Monday Loves! Time for another busy but productive summer week! I couldn’t wait to share this bright look with you that I shot in Soho 2 weeks ago when I brought my little sister to meet Melissa Ben-Ishay, the Melissa behind the bite sized phenomenon that is Baked By Melissa! My sister is a huge cupcake fan…while i love to indulge every now and then, sweets aren’t my thing…comfort food like Mac & Cheese, Popcorn and Chicken Fingers are…me and popcorn have a love hate relationship. I love it like no other when I’m eating it but within a few hours I instantly regret the salty, dry and sluggish feeling I get after over doing it at the movie theater…because obviously movie theater popcorn is simply the best to have right? :p Anyways, back to today’s look. My peach top is from Old Navy. Button Downs are great for the office, but sometimes white and black can get a little boring, so since I love color, why not stand out with a little peach! My white shorts are from Abercrombie (most likely the clearance table in the back…none the less, a total win). I LOVE both my shoes and bag I’m wearing in this shot. My bag is from Last Call Neiman Marcus, it’s actually their own brand and it reminds me of the Maison Valentino Rockstud Tote. These gold block sandals are from Anne Klein (Traven Sandal) and what I love most about them is the fact that they match wit everything, can be dressed up or down for work or play AND they are super comfortable. Anne Klein has really comfortable footwear, one of the very few brands that can appeal to my style side and my comfort side! It wouldn’t be a complete outfit without a little bling right? I enjoy layering delicate pieces like my Hamsa Hand, Skull and Star necklaces. It’s simple yet chic. I hope you guys love this look as much as I do and don’t forget to enter my Sparkle Republic Jewelry Giveaway below 🙂 Shop My Look <3
Happy Humpday Loves! I’m already having a fabulous week and I am especially loving this New York weather! Yesterday I opted for a casual and comfy look while I visited the newly named ‘Anna Wintour Costume Institute’ ‘Beyond Fashion’ exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art & as if that wasn’t cool enough, my brother and I went to a taping of ‘Inside The Actor’s Studio’ featuring my #WCW (Woman Crush Wednesday…duh!) Mariska Hargitay AKA Olivia Benson from Law & Order SVU…my guilty pleasure <3I’m having a ‘Shop Genius’ moment from Nordstrom Rack. I love a simple chambray top, especially this button down that I paired with an olive cami and white shorts from Abercrombie (which are from high school by the way…score for me, the gym is paying off!). My number one go to accessory for a day in the Big Apple is my Louis Vuitton Neverfull tote and some chic sunnies. I LOVE this bag…it’s huge enough to fit everything including the kitchen sink (which knowing me may end up in my bag haha!) and it’s classic and simple. I like adding a little edge to any look with some great aviators like these ones! My shoes are an oldie but a goodie. I bought these straw smoking slippers from…drum roll please…NY & Company over two years ago! I absolutely love these shoes, by the way NY & Company has killer shoes and they are affordable…YES! Smoking slippers are an easy way to dress up a casual ensemble…I feel like they tie a look together sometimes better than a pair of sandals can. When I’m having a simple, care free day I go for simple jewelry like my signature gold and diamonds ‘M’ initial necklace which I received from my grandmother when I was younger, but I found a similar one from Nadri at Nordstrom that I love as well 🙂 Hope you love this casual look as much as I do!
