🇺🇸 HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY 🇺🇸

I hope ya’ll have been having a great 3 day weekend! Whether you are traveling or hitting the beach or enjoying some yummy BBQ, it’s important to not just enjoy the weekend but remember who + why this weekend is possible + that is because of the amazing men + women who fought for this country that are remembered on this Memorial Day ♥

It’s days like today that emphasize what it truly is to be an American. For citizens to put their lives on the line to protect + fight for the freedoms of Americans everywhere is what this country is all about. We fight for what is right, we stand up + protect what we have worked incredibly hard to achieve + we appreciate everything that it’s taken to get to where we are.

While I haven’t traveled all over the world or live outside the US, I couldn’t imagine living + wanting to be anywhere else other than the amazing USA. I love the ability to have the freedom to be whoever I want to be, achieve any dream I may have + to live in a country that people everywhere want to be a part of.

That brings us to today, Memorial Day. While I have never had the honor of serving our country in the armed forces, I am eternally grateful to those who have + continue to do so. The brave men, women + their families that serve this country are what makes America the strong, passionate country we love to be apart of.

No matter what side of the political aisle you are on, we all as Americans should come together to remember what makes this country truly great + how everyone in the armed forces made everything we have today possible ♥

I will forever be proud + honored to be an American ♥

Now to today’s patriotic outfit!

I recently discovered the brand Buddy Love + I am OBSESSED! Their colorful, statement making pieces are the epitome of Missy style with bright Pops Of Color, bold prints + amazing silhouettes! They have everything from cute tops to dresses to swimwear + so much more. Their pieces run true to size + are available at a bunch of my fav online boutiques like Red Dress Boutique, Mint Julep + Shoptiques.

This dress is super fun + flirty so I linked to a similar style from Buddy Love HERE. I paired it with a dusty rose Gucci belt which has been my go-to this summer since it matches with absolutely everything. Definitely a great investment piece!

My wedges are from Red Dress Boutique + they are not just stylish but also super comfortable!!! Every summer I pretty much live in wedges + these beauties are it!

As for my bag, this one is a must have – the white ark bag is great for every summer occasion from date night, to summer weddings, to graduations + more…it fits all your essentials + looks chic with every outfit.

♥ Easter Ready ♥

Crazy to think Easter is just a few weeks away + that means tons of floral moments, pastel pieces + a jolly attitude! One of my go to dresses for the occasion is this green floral wrap dress from Bobeau.

I love a classic wrap dress not just because of the amazing fit but because it is such a classic style that is chic + dressy for any occasion, especially holidays + family gatherings. When it comes to get togethers with family I like to dress stylish but also a bit more conservative so this Bobeau dress is going to be my go to for hiding Easter eggs + enjoying a yummy feast!

Bobeau truly has the cutest styles. I love that they are comfy + cute and also come at an affordable price point available at a bunch of retailers including my forever favorite, Nordstrom.

Happy Monday Loves ♥

I hope ya’ll had a great weekend! My BF + I spent it shooting outfits in Burbank, followed by a fun car show. ICYMI, I am a major classic car fan, so anytime there is an opportunity to see a car show, I am down! I love nostalgia, thinking of an easier time when we weren’t glued to our funs + instead were living in the moment, another thing that gives me nostalgia? Vintage inspired fashion, like this Venus yellow polka dot dress! When I laid eyes on this dress, I instantly thought 50s housewife or time to go watch the horse race hehe :p Either way, it’s definitely not typical LA + that is why I love it so much!

When I spotted this dress, I instantly fell in love. It is just so bold, bright + fun! The halter style with midi length makes it the perfect classy dress for any occasion. I recently discovered Venus.com + realized they truly have the BEST dresses, and if you know me, you know I love a good dress.

I styled this dress with another fun find from Venus, this Sunshine + Chill Floppy Hat. It’s the ultimate vacation hat, I mean, Sunshine + Chill? What’s more vacay ready than that haha!

My bag + shoes are the perfect summer accessories. This white Cult Gaia bag is the ‘IT’ item of the season, making it one of my current favorites. As for my shoes, well I am a firm believer that every gal should own at least one pair of white pointed toe pumps (I own three hehe :p)

For summer, I always find white accessories to be the way to go…maybe I just have a white obsession but I love the clean, crisp look of white heels or bags.

I hope ya’ll had a great pre 4th of July weekend! It’s so weird to have the 4th of July mid week when the BBQs and parties are typically on the weekends, but my boo + I definitely celebrated early. We BBQed, shot some Red, White + Blue looks AND even got to watch fireworks from our balcony (how cool is that?!) We live near Six Flags Magic Mountain which is having fireworks every night till the 4th so that means we get to enjoy free fireworks every night! My favorite!

Since the 4th is just days away, I had to share another red, white + blue look! This cute top from Pleione is currently on sale + instantly reminded me of the 4th of July. Red pom poms paired with blue stripes makes for the perfect patriotic look!

While normally I BBQ for the 4th, this year we are heading to Universal Studios for the day and then my little brother comes to visit. We are super excited to have some fun in the sun! While this look is a bit dressier than what one may wear for the 4th, it was too cute not too share hehe :p

I paired this top with a casual white skater skirt + white duster cardigan. Both of these pieces are must-haves for every gal if you ask me! They can mix + match with any look + are great to dress up or down depending on the occasion.

As for my shoes + bag, I had to keep those with the patriotic theme. I have been loving this white ark bag for summer (it just is so trendy right now) + these cobalt blue heels!

I love a great pop of color as you all know + these heels are perfect for that!

One of the looks I shot…this one featuring head-to-toe picks from eBay Fashion!! I don’t know about you but I love finding great styles on a budget, especially designer finds like designer shoes or bags or even trending styles that you don’t want to break the bank for. eBay has become my one stop destination for all things summer fashion, giving me more money in my pocket for fun things like travel, dining out + more!

eBay makes it easy to find the styles you want for a fraction of the price. With an easy search, you can find the pieces you want from verified sellers with great reviews. Years later…they are still selling on eBay (new with tags) so a style I once thought would be beyond hard to track down, is now shoppable with just the search of a few key words!
