I hope ya’ll had a great Memorial Day Weekend! I sure did – it was filled with photoshoots, pool days + plenty of BBQ (yasss I love a good corn on the cob with some yummy burgers…who is with me?! hehe :p) Even though a lot of people were traveling this past weekend, I tend to travel at non-peak times (to avoid high airfare costs or traffic haha) so our next trip is to Arizona in June! I love to always plan a trip in the near future so I have something to look forward to…just keeps you excited about what’s ahead in my opinion :p

Whether you plan a day trip or a cross country trip or an international trip, one thing is key…packing! I don’t know about you but one of the most exciting parts of upcoming travel is prepping for what is ahead + what is always on my mind when traveling? Traveling in STYLE duh! From my airport look to what I am packing…it all starts with stylish, durable + functional luggage! My go-to brand? Gabbiano Luggage

Since I travel a lot, finding durable yet stylish luggage was super important to me. Goodbye are the days of your wheel jamming at the airport or the zipper constantly getting stuck…all I wanted was luggage I could count on that also looked great for the gram…you know, because if it isn’t on Instagram, did it even happen? 😉

I personally love the color amethyst because being a February baby, that is my birthstone…so the fact that I was able to get this Gabbiano Luggage Genova Collection Set in Amethyst made me one happy camper. The color + hard shell design matches my personal style making it perfect for travel + for countless Instagram photos (because did a trip even happen if it didn’t make it to the gram? I think not haha)

Best part? Gabbiano luggage has enough room for ALL of my essentials…trust me I pack a ton. Whether it is shoes, bags, clothes or toiletries, I am a serial over packer but luckily Gabbiano luggage has enough room for me to pack everything including the kitchen sink…great news for me…bad news for my boyfriend who hates my overpacking. He also is not a fan of lugging my luggage around the airport (because the wheels would jam or it was too heavy etc). BUT with Gabbiano luggage, I no longer need to bug him to handle my luggage because I can carry + roll it with ease thanks to Gabbiano’s durable + functional design.

Since my luggage is full of style (inside + out), I had to share an easy yet chic outfit to wear when traveling AND It pairs perfectly with my Gabbiano Luggage!

My comfy dress is from 32 Degrees. I legit LOVE this dress because it comes in a variety of colors, is affordable + it flatters every body type. I have been living in their dresses ever since I got them (even wore one to Universal last weekend – ICYMI it’s here).

I paired the dress with this fun patchwork denim bomber jacket from Skies Are Blue Clothing – I love the fun patches for a casual cool look. My kicks are my favorite Adidas Superstars. They are cool, comfortable + easy to slip on + off at airport security.

Happy Tuesday Lovers! As holiday prep continues one thing almost every fashionista is doing this holiday season is commuting or traveling from place to place to be with family and friends! Well, I got a jump start on what I’ll be wearing to commute around this holiday season (and it may or may not be 100% practical but hey…a girl sometimes needs her heels even when traveling if Beyonce can do it so can we!)One of the ways I commute day to day is via the LIRR (Long Island Railroad). As a Long Islander, if you want to get to Manhattan, JFK or anywhere without encountering traffic…you are usually opting for the train so that’t where today’s outfit shoot took place. My number one issue I have while traveling is outerwear. Because I may be cold waiting for a train, plane or bus…but the second I take my seat I begin to get hot and bothered (and not in a good way! haha) So I decided a lightweight canvas jacket is the way to go. I scored this one on sale at Old Navy and in my opinion this would make a great gift for a relative as well! The next piece of business to take care of…the pants. I hate wearing sweat pants and everyone wears leggings and Uggs while traveling, but hey why not snazz things up a bit with a pair of jeggings like these dark olive ones from Hue (on sale at Macy’s here). Now for the accessories…like I said this look is and isn’t practical. I believe every fashionista needs a convenient little bag that makes a statement. A bag that is great quality, moderately sized and can fit the essentials without being a huge tote that becomes home to everything including the kitchen sink…so my solution? The Ralph Lauren ‘Newbury’ mini bag available in multiple colors here.Ok, ok so maybe I wouldn’t wear these shoes while traveling but they just looked so damn cute with this outfit #SorryNotSorry! I love these camo heels and by the looks of it, the camo shoe trend is one that is taking over. I found camo heels from Carlos Santana, Sole Society and Shopbop (click to shop).A travel essential every gal should have? A great pair of sunnies! Planes, trains and automobiles all require a killer pair of sunnies that make a statement and instantly dress up a simple commuter ensemble. For this look I went with tortoise shell sunglasses like these (on sale from Target).And last but not least…a killer manicure and some sparkling bling!
