Playing In The Snow With Joules…

Welcome to the beautiful beaches of Long Island….which are now covered in tons and tons of snow….yea it may take a few more months for me to be actually relaxing on one of these having some fun in the sun but for now…I guess some snow time it is. I am one who rarely wants to dress weather appropriate (for gods sake I refuse to wear any coat that actually closes….yes I am weird and hate constricting clothing #weirdo…I feel like I am always having hot flashes even though I am only 23…maybe i should get that checked out but I digress).

I decided to get it together and embrace the snow with these Joules boots which are perfect for rain, sleet or snow (or if you are in NY a combination of all three). This past weekend has been a whirlwind of weather conditions…snow, rain then a warm sunny Sunday…and that’s what made this look possible…

So I based this whole look around these adorable Joules boots. I LOVE how feminine and girly they are since with me the girlier the better :p The bow on the back of these is the perfect touch! To add a little extra pop to the look I included my cobalt blue clutch (on Poshmark here), mirrored Ray Bans, black infinity scarf and of course my black floppy hat (which I had to keep holding onto my head while I was attempting to do a cute jump in the snow #epicfail).

Can’t forget the bling…here + here. I kept my outfit simple since when I am about to go out in the snow on the weekends, all I care about is adding a little color and being comfortable so all I need is my red Vince Camuto coat and my Hue black leather leggings and bam! Ready to take on the weekend (or the week…whichever has the shittier weather I suppose…sorry mom the weather is making me so angry I kinda have to curse) Where is my sunshine?! #HurryUpSummer

Happy Monday Lovers! Stop right now, thank you very much, I need somebody with the human touch…Hey you always on the run, Gotta slow down baby, gotta have some fun! Sorry but while naming the post all I could think of in terms of ‘Stop’ was one of my favorite Spice Girl songs ‘Stop’ haha! I was a huge Spice Girl fan…I always pretended to be Posh spice because even as a youngster I loved leather and heels 😉 Besides my love for the Spice Girls as we all know I LOVE color…that means even in the winter months I will be rocking a ‘pop of color’ so when I spotted this cherry red Vince Camuto coat at Lord & Taylor (on clearance now!) I had to have it!And just in case the red coat ~~didn’t~~ provide me with enough color for one look…Add this cobalt blue Neiman Marcus tote and you are ready to embrace winter in the most colorful of ways 😉 I went simple with my shoes because I couldn’t handle much more color than the bag and the coat…maybe I could of but hey not everyone can be as out there with color as me so I’m keeping it simple for you guys loves <3 They are from Pink Basis but I found a similar pair on sale from Nine West here.Underneath the red coat is a basic outfit that you can rock year round (ok maybe ~~not~~ the sleeveless top but hey add a blazer or a cardigan and you are ready to go)! You can never go wrong with a chic white button down blouse like this one from BCBG (for under $35 that’s a must!).As for my jeans…they are my favorite! I LOVE light wash jeans and I always cuff them because I love to show a little skin…even if it is just my ankles haha. I found two great pairs that are similar to the ones I am wearing here + here.This has seriously become my favorite coat…just saying…It’s rare I find winter wear that I truly fall for but this coat is it for me…it’s my soul mate (may not have found my guy soul mate but hey the coat will do for now) 😉 | Click To Shop My Look |

Happy Tuesday Lovers! Today I am the lady in the red…wearing Vince Camuto of course! I’m OBSESSED with this red wool coat for fall from Lord & Taylor. When I saw it in the store I fell in LOVE…like heart racing, butterfly kind of love…can you see why?It’s cozy, comfortable and eye catching…the perfect piece to turn heads this fall! A great coat is always essential for fall and this one takes the cake. As you all know, I love a pop of color and this baby does the trick! Let me flash ya all…under this great coat I’m rocking a black chiffon cami dress from Nordstrom. I love the fit and how it can be dressed up or down for any occasion…got to love a LBD! On a side note, the inside of this red coat is leopard print pattern…can you say AMAZINGGG! My taupe suede clutch is a clearance find from Last Call Neiman Marcus. A simple clutch is always a must, especially in a neutral hue that can be worn from season to season like taupe. Mirrored aviators once again…sorry not sorry. These babies are great to match with red, orange or yellow shades because of the warm mirrored tints. My black bedazzled T strap pumps are from Nine West, but I found a similar style from Michael Kors here. I love these pumps because they aren’t just full of glitz and glam…but they are also comfortable…bonus! I definitely plan on wearing this coat into Manhattan for all of my press previews this week…the Big Apple needs a little extra red don’t ya think? 😉Shop My Look <3

Happy Friday Loves! TGIF! I am so ready for a weekend filled with some fun in the sun, how about you? Well something I love about Friday’s (other than the fact summer Friday’s mean ending work in the afternoon) is the fact that they are casual, meaning I can pretty much wear anything within reason without be judged as ‘sloppy’ 😉

So this look is a total favorite of mine and it fits the casual bill to a T…literally haha (get it T like Tee Shirt lol…) 😉 My red open back top is from Zoeii Boutique…I love it’s casual feel yet it has the open slit in the back making it perfect for a night out!

My jeans are classic Old Navy…I simply LOVE white jeans for summer…especially these ones because they fit like a glove!

Like mentioned in previous posts, I love this Vince Camuto bucket bag for summer. It fits all my essentials and is an easy on the go bag!

My shoes were a Payless find! Don’t you love finding shoes that you simply can’t live without at a price that’s actually affordable? Yea…these shoes are that. While they are no longer available I found a similar style from Jildor.

Like how I went back to the old days of taking photos in front of my house? Yea…this was an outfit I wore to Americana Manhasset to get my jewelry repaired at Tiffanys…I loved it so much I kinda forced my brother to snap a bunch of pics before I left 😉 Trust me…he was loving it…not lol Sorry Matt!

These were my favorite shots…1) My behind kinda looks killer (guess those squats are working) and 2) Because I love showing off the open back style of this top <3

Nautical On The Mile…

Happy Friday Loves! I am so ready for the gorgeous weekend that is upon us…and a great weekend hot spot on Long Island is…the Nautical Mile in Freeport, which is where these photos were shot 🙂 I love a great nautical look, especially in the summer, so what better place to whip out a fun striped skirt and rope inspired wedges than at the Nautical Mile! The Nautical Mile is a street right by the water with bars, restaurants and little shops…a great summer spot!My wedges were a bargain once again…from Payless! I swear, no one ever believes that a lot of my shoes are from Payless and often assume that Payless is a place you go to for cheap and uncomfortable shoes…well not me! These wedges cost me $15.99 and are SO comfortable 🙂 My skirt is from Target…a great clearance find a year or so ago…matched with a simple black cami, you can’t go wrong! I will continue to preach my love for mirrored aviators…I just feel so ‘cool’ in them. That extra pop of color is something every gal needs year round…not just in the summer! My bag was a Saks Off Fifth find…Vince Camuto of course! It’s officially my go to summer bag. Easy, has tons of room and looks great with everything! If I haven’t shared this, I have a serious love for the water…I guess it works out living on Long Island than haha! I simply feel there is no better place to sit and think than by the water…especially on a gorgeous day, this weekend should be filled with them!
