Happy Wednesday Loves! While I love to wear fun and casual outfits, sometimes I need to play dress up and act like an adult (just sometimes 😉 ). I’ve discovered it’s become easier in today’s day and age to not only dress office appropriate, but stylish as well. It’s all about hemlines, cuts and colors. I enjoy a great ‘Pop Of Color’ even when it comes to office wear!My ever favorite white boyfriend blazer is from the LC By Lauren Conrad collection at Kohls. I realized all of my blazers are pretty much from that collection…what can I say I’m a gal that gets stuck on what I like, is that a crime? 😉 My cobalt blue blouse is from Old Navy. It adds just the right amount of color to stand out at the office without being inappropriate. I love my black scuba skirt from Target. The scuba fabric has been a summer favorite as well as a personal favorite of mine! Now for my shoes, as if I haven’t already shared the deets on these a bunch of times, they were a Payless find! Yes, I will forever be stunned that I found my perfect nude ankle strap sandal at Payless…it was the best purchase I had ever made there! My snakeskin envelope clutch is from Target. I love how unique it is. I was never a big clutch fan (I always need a huge bag to carry everything including the kitchen sink) but for some reason I fell hard for this bag the moment I spotted it…I’d say the $8 price tag helped contribute to the love affair as well 😉 Sometimes dressing professional isn’t as boring as it seems 😉 Or at least when it comes to me it isn’t! Happy Monday loves! Today’s look is an oldie but a goodie…I realized I have this look on my banner above, but never broke down the shopping details…oops 😉 I hope you all had a nice weekend, I know I sure did! What I love about this look is this floral scuba skirt from Target…isn’t it great? I love all the colors in it, especially how I can rock it with a cute aqua tank <3 I love color for summer. I found a similar skirt from Last Call…with a mixed pattern…obsessed!My shoes are again…a Payless find! Yes people…Payless <3 I seriously love them…don’t worry I found similar nude sandals from Nasty Gal! My bag is my forever favorite Rebecca Minkoff Affair Bag in classic black. Chic, classy and simple. Has tons of room for all your essentials and is amazing quality! My prayers for the perfect going out bag have been answered 😉 I can’t live without a chic white blazer. I feel it pulls any look ‘together’ and is great for a night out or a day at the office. My statement necklace is from Laila Rowe…they have the best jewelry for less 🙂 Great pieces to make any look sparkle! I found a similar white necklace from ASOS as well!Shop My Look Below <3

Happy Tuesday Loves! If you didn’t know by now, I have a little cobalt blue obsession…especially for the summer time! Target always has the best designer ‘Look For Less’ collaborations and this look has two of them: Prabal Gurung & Peter Pilotto! This floral Peter Pilotto dress wasn’t purchased when the collection originally came out, I waited till a month ago to snatch it from the clearance section of Target.com (isn’t that the best?) so I scored it for $20! Win for Missy 😉 These Prabal Gurung for Target heels are an all time favorite of mine. The first time I ever wore them was on my 21st birthday and they lasted through dancing in the club, walking the streets of Manhattan and more. Don’t they still look fab? For some reason chic black strappy sandals will always be a fashion ‘Do’ in my mind! The perfect way to compliment this blue floral printed dress? With a cobalt blue Vince Camuto bucket bag of course! It’s from Saks Off Fifth and once again, bucket bags is a favorite trend of mine this summer! Even my nails are blue…from Essie of course, the color is ‘Addicted‘ and I am pretty addicted 😉 Shop My Look Below <3

Anna & Karl…

Ever since I was 8 years old I had an unhealthy obsession with fashion…specifically Vogue and the lady behind it…Anna Wintour. The ‘Devil’ in Prada has been my idol for years. When people asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up I always had the same response, ‘I want to be the editor of Vogue and take Anna’s place one day’…and if someone didn’t know who Anna Wintour was, I knew we wouldn’t be able to mesh well lol…Sorry Not Sorry :p Karl has also become a love of mine…the man has made driving gloves a fashion statement, who else do you know that can turn an otherwise unknown fad into a trend?I felt I had to stand out and embrace the fabulous colors of this mural I spotted in Soho NYC, so it was time to bring out the hot pink Michael Kors tote that was simply a total ‘Must’ last year during Macy’s Friends & Family Sale! (I will never get sick of this Pop Of Color) Mirrored sunnies are also an obsession of mine…they just help increase the ‘Cool’ factor haha I say that because my little sister just bought a pair and acts like she started the trend 😉 Work it girl! This Target Kimono was a clearance score and what I love is that it can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. The tie dye pattern on it is a fresh look for summer and adds a little something to any look. Cameron Silver has become another one of my fashion idols. Ever since I saw him on the show ‘Dukes Of Melrose’ on Bravo, I knew he was another great fashion personality that was up to great things! He teamed up with Nine West back in the fall and designed these gorgeous pumps…they will forever be a staple in my closet, neon accents are always a YES! Lately I’ve been reading some interesting thoughts about me and my blogging and in response I have this…in the words of one of my other idols, Eva Chen, Editor In Chief of Lucky Magazine, ‘Haters are gunna hate’…hell yea sister, embrace it and let it be the fuel to keep you going…I know that’s what keeps me doing what I do 😉 Shop My Look <3

Pink & Printed…

Happy Monday Loves! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend to celebrate the first days of summer! I know I sure did 🙂 I did a little exploring in Huntington Village on Long Island which is filled with shops, restaurants and of course great outfit shoot locations…always blogging…even on the weekends!

I’m rocking Old Navy head to toe. I love a simple chiffon shirt for a summer day and paired it with these cute and comfy printed shorts…even my new favorite shoes for summer, block sandals are from Old Navy as well! My bag is a Target find. I always need a little extra pop, so this hot pink number was a total must. Who doesn’t love a pink bag for summer?! While shooting this look, my sister and I stopped for some froyo…now while this wasn’t necessarily part of the diet plan, I felt the need to get it because come on it made for a cute picture didn’t it? I think it added to the look 😉 I love froyo…if only it wasn’t loaded with sugar 🙁 I also love these mirrored aviators because I always feel like a million bucks while wearing them!

While walking around we also spotted this fun little quote…I always enjoy discovering simple little things…they always bring a smile to my face 🙂

I feel like this quote always rings true. Shoes make the outfit sometimes…don’t they ladies? My shoes were actually a lucky sale find from Old Navy…for one day only all their shoes were 40% off in store…safe to say I stocked up! Always in search of a good bargain to blog about 😉
