Spring is just around the corner, one of my favorite times of year. The weather warms up, the flowers start to bloom + I get into a summer state of mind in no time! When March rolls around I know spring is only a short while away so I figured let’s get the season kicked off with a bright little yellow look like this one.
I have always been a fan of yellow so when I spotted this marigold color Tularosa dress from REVOLVE I knew it would be perfect for spring and a total must have. I love the fit and flare style paired with bell sleeves for a feminine and romantic spring ensemble.
I paired this dress with these super comfy lace up Raye The Label sandals that are going to be my spring into summer essential. They are a great heel height and the color matches with everything!
It wouldn’t be spring without a bright yellow Chanel bag…am I right?! A key buy for spring into summer is definitely a colorful statement making purse which you can add to any look for a POP of color…Chanel just happens to be my favorite.
With spring in full swing I am all about switching up my wardrobe with fun new footwear styles. I always struggle with wanting to wear cute, trendy picks BUT also need them to be comfortable, great quality + at an affordable price point. Well…my struggle is over because I found my go-to brand for new sassy shoes…Cecelia New York! Whether you are looking for some new spring sandals, some nice going out heels, styles that are good for work or play etc. Cecelia New York has AMAZING styles that look chic no matter what the occasion.
These two styles are my current obsessions because they are stylish, comfortable + they are easy to pair with any look. The gold Harper mules are perfect for dresses, shorts + a cut top, jeans + so much more. While the Vannah Heel is amazing to style with colorful flowy summer dresses, white jeans etc. Who doesn’t love a little ‘Pop Of Color‘ right?
Over the years I have definitely tried my fair share of shoes, brands + styles. Safe to say I am a bit of a shoe ‘addict‘ so when I discovered Cecelia New York I figured ‘hmm cute shoes’ but after a few days of wearing various styles from them I fell in LOVE! I can wear them all day without any discomfort, now that is a win!!! To not have to switch out of shoes midway through the day is so satisfying to be honest hehe :p
Crazy to think Easter is just a few weeks away + that means tons of floral moments, pastel pieces + a jolly attitude! One of my go to dresses for the occasion is this green floral wrap dress from Bobeau.
I love a classic wrap dress not just because of the amazing fit but because it is such a classic style that is chic + dressy for any occasion, especially holidays + family gatherings. When it comes to get togethers with family I like to dress stylish but also a bit more conservative so this Bobeau dress is going to be my go to for hiding Easter eggs + enjoying a yummy feast!
Bobeau truly has the cutest styles. I love that they are comfy + cute and also come at an affordable price point available at a bunch of retailers including my forever favorite, Nordstrom.
I styled this dress with classic white pointed toe pumps paired with one of my spring into summer staples, the white ark bag. I am linking to some of my favorites below which I highly recommend investing in.
These pieces are ones you can style various ways throughout the spring into summer + they are classics that will be in style for years to come.
With spring just around the corner, I am beginning to stock up on some of my favorite trends of the season…starting with my newest obsessionMULES!
I was hesitant about the whole walking around in slippers trend when I first saw everyone in LA rocking the Gucci Princetown Mules with the fur, but eventually I came around and found some mules that fit my style + are easy to wear whether it is for work or play! Whether you are all about neutrals, or like a pop of color or to shine with some metallic (or even some quirky messaging), spring 2018 is the season of the mule so it’s time to embrace it and stock up on your favorite styles!
Rounding up my favorite mules below based on price point (because you can embrace this trend on ANY budget)
LOW ||$10-$50
I am all about testing out a trend at an entry level budget so I found that Target, Macy’s + DSW had some killer options when it comes to mules that won’t break the bank (plus since mules get worn out easily, it isn’t as devastating when you start seeing wear on them haha)
MEDIUM || $50 – $150
For medium range options I found a pretty amazing selection from Zappos + Nordstrom – all range from greta quality brands that won’t break the bank!
HIGH || $150+
High end options ranging from Gucci to Chiara Ferragni to Tod’s + more I found at Saks, Bergdorf Goodman + Neiman Marcus (what I love about these options are that they are pretty unique from store to store + have such intricate detailing that will set you apart from the crowd if you are willing to make the investment)
Happy Thursday Loves! Sorry I have been MIA this week…I have been beyond swamped with work (but now I am hiring an assistant if anyone lives in LA and is interested in a social media job btw!), moving into my new apartment and balancing the never ending saga that is my life :p #TheStruggleIsReal I am writing this post at 1am when I should be sleeping but I couldn’t slack off on my blogging one more day so here it is! haha
This week has been stressful and I am already looking forward to this weekend (hopefully a lot of sleeping will occur haha) but here is a fresh new look perfect for spring, summer + honestly, just about any season or occasion 😉
I also used a simple white crop top underneath (like this one)…if you don’t already own a crop top like this one, I highly recommend it for skirts with a high waist so you don’t get bunching underneath like when you tuck a shirt in 🙂
And that right there…my silly pose :p Life is too short to take things so seriously (especially pictures :p right?)
I love the shoe and bag combo I did for this look♥ (don’t you just love when you make the perfect match…this is the closest I will get to ‘sole mates‘ hahaha) Anyways, my black t-strap pumps are an old style from Nine West but I found a similar pair from Betsey Johnson available at Macy’s. And my gray quilted satchel is from none other than my love Vera Bradley!
