But first…~~coffee~~ (~~scratch~~ that…to be quite honest I start each and every day with a Venti iced green tea from Starbucks…unsweetened of course…typical white girl…~~oops~~) but I mean coffee as in ‘Coffee Shop‘, the great brand who makes this stylish leopard coat I am wearing today! This past week has been the true beginning of winter weather. Snow on the ground, a chill in the air and wind that practically swept me right off my feet…this weather calls for a warm, cozy and fashionable coat…in comes Coffee Shop.

This brand reached out to me right before the Holiday Season and I couldn’t wait to work with them. They make everything from Moto Jackets, to Pea Coats, to Wool Coats and Bomber Jackets…they are now my one stop shop for unique and trendy coats that won’t break the bank (which is always in style in my book!)

So while I am not a fan of the cold temperatures I must admitt it was kinda fun to have a little white snow on the ground while shooting looks over the weekend. And yes…I was freezing while shooting each and every outfit…at one point my poor brother’s hands turned pink from holding the camera out in the cold…but nonetheless new outfits were shot, and Missy is still able to share her stylish journey…no matter what the weather outside may be!| Click To Shop My Look |

Mad For Plaid…

Happy Monday Loves! So I’m thinking it’s time to reveal a little bit more of me in my blog posts other than simply breaking down my looks…let’s get real…watchya think? Well for starters, this outfit was shot yesterday at my old stomping grounds…my elementary school! I felt so old being there but easily forgot about that the second I saw an adorable King Charles Cavalier (the same breed as my little Charlie) walk by in between photos…Not sure if this is just me but the second I see a cute little dog my voice instantly turns into a high pitch squeal as if I was talking to an infant…it’s a bit embarrassing but hey it’s a little quirk I have!Other than my obsession with adorable dogs, I have obsessing over plaid this fall, especially from Old Navy. I rocked a black and white plaid flannel last week on the blog and opted to add a little color with this red and blue plaid flannel here. I always want to add color no matter what the season…it’s another little quirk of mine.Speaking of color…I ended up buying this blue faux leather tote from Old Navy that I had on last week’s Weekend Wish List here. It’s perfect for work or play and I love the cobalt blue hue for fall to add a little extra ‘pop’. My booties are from Report Shoes and were a Marshalls ‘Fab Found’ purchase but I found them here at 6pm.com.An outfit is never complete without subtle hints of bling (or in my case not so subtle…oops). Happy Thursday Loves! I’m really beginning to embrace fall…it’s about time I suppose considering we are in October! I feel like it is still summer in my mind, mean while I see Jack-O-Lanterns and Christmas Trees up in every store…oh how time flies! Today’s look is actually mostly from Old Navy…I seriously love their fall pieces. My olive quilted vest is a must…I actually own it in white and black as well. Old Navy’s ‘Rockstar’ jeans fit me like a glove (I own quite a few pairs…they are that good) and are affordable. Last but not least…the majority of my blouses are their boyfriend style button downs because you can dress them up or down like I did with this light pink one! Now for my lower half…I am OBSESSED with this Lauren Ralph Lauren ‘Newbury’ Mini Satchel in fuschia…color is always a yes in my book, especially when it pops like this bag! My camo style heels are from Christian Siriano for Payless…yes ladies, Payless…never underestimate affordablitity and comfort when it comes to great footwear! Of course the best part of any fall look? A smile…duh 🙂 Plus it’s almost the weekend…that’s always a reason to smile…right?By the way…something else I love about this look? My backdrop…I always love finding interesting locations to shoot at and who would have thought this ‘ranch’ style spot is only 10 minutes from my house…talk about living in a bubble…oops!
