It wouldn’t be St. Patrick’s Day without a little green! I actually got to venture out last weekend and shoot at some new spots…this one being Venice! I’ve heard plenty of mixed things about Venice, but after exploring and finding the cutest shops, restaurants (and plenty of colorful backdrops)…I got sold on it 😉 Safe to say plenty of more shoots will be happening there haha :p But…back to St. Patty’s Day…green it is!
This look is super simple yet chic. I always love incorporating color into any look I wear, so this All For Color kimono was the perfect piece to build my look around.
Red…White + a little F R I N G E! Those are the vibes I am feeling for the upcoming Labor Day Weekend! Other than all of the great sales (which I will be sharing my favorites from of course – stay tuned :p), I love how Labor Day weekend is the last time to really stand out in your summer time favorites (although, knowing me I will still be wearing my summer favs well into fall haha). I figured prepping for the weekend is the perfect time to show my patriotic side once again! I am kinda in an ‘I Love America‘ state of mind after seeing Kid Rock over the weekend + his amazing tribute to working class America…all of the soldiers, marines and more who fought + continue to fight each and everyday to make sure we are ‘Born Free‘! ICYMI, I am a HUGE Kid Rock fan and was in love at his concert Saturday night…I was supposed to see him 4th of July weekend back in NY (before I knew I was moving) but then I moved here to LA a month before the concert + missed going 🙁 So seeing him Saturday literally made my summer <3Anyways…on a side note, I should probably get to breaking down this amazing outfit which is fully stocked on color + feminine details…just what I like! My blue pleated high low skirt is from LoveShoppingMiami.com whose website makes me instantly happy because it is filled with fun colors, prints + styles fit for any season! I paired it with a simple white crop top because I mean come on, doesn’t the skirt just speak for itself?
My fav part of this outfit is of course are these red fringe heels from AMI Clubwear…they are instantly becoming my go-to shoe for a night out because the fun fringe detail and the red hue can really spice up any look 😉 I guess you can say they are red hot haha!
Accessories I kept simple as well and went for a metallic theme…got to love a little glitz. I decided to give this silver Michael Kors watch a little love since I haven’t worn it in such a long time along with this metallic silver clutch from Carolinna Espinosa (similar styles here + here).
And it wouldn’t be a summer outfit without my mirrored Ray Ban sunnies right? hehe I’ve seriously worn these All Summer Long (like my Kid Rock reference sprinkled in there haha)
Happy Monday! I am so ready to start a fresh new week after an exhausting weekend of apartment hunting in LA. Luckily after searching high and low I have exciting news to report…I found my dream apartment!! The building and it’s ameneties are to die for and the apartment itself is pure bliss…I can’t wait to move in and start the decorating progress (which I will chronicle here on the blog of course). If you told me a year ago I would start pinning away interior design inspo and then actually use some of that inspiration to help decorate my very own apartment in Los Angeles I wouldn’t believe you…well here it is…it’s happening! Crazy I know…
What a weekend! I am thrilled to say this is the last of my outfits that was shot with snow on the ground…in fact over the weekend, I was able to shoot tons of new spring looks at the beach…with sand in between my toes (check out my SnapChat to see more — MissyOnMadison) <3 I must say, I definitely have a love/hate relationship with New York/Long Island. I LOVE summers in the Hamptons, long drives out to Montauk and tanning by the pool…but then when winter rolls around I tend to find myself in a bit of a depression having to shovel myself out of feet of snow surrounding my house. It’s tough, it’s nuts and I may be a little cray cray…but for the next few months I will love New York…but come fall no guarantees 😉
However something I will always love…you guessed a ‘Pop Of Color‘ que the blue coat! I literally had to have this coat and when the time came for me to snag it on sale I knew it was meant to be…
