And the holiday weekend has unfortunately come to a close…Back to the rise and grind (ugh isn’t that the worst? A Monday after a nice, relaxing holiday weekend…#LegitTorture). I successfully survived my first 4th Of July in LA…naturally it was filled with outfit shoots, frozen yogurt and some fireworks (because I don’t care where I am living…a 4th Of July requirement for me is to see fireworks…Like I said, I am still a kid inside :p)

Happy Monday Loves! I hope you had a fun filled weekend like I did…lets’ just say it involved some shopping, outfit shoots and…blogging. Just Kidding (not really), but I also spent some quality time with family and friends and ventured out on Long Island.
So I learned while working in NYC that it is essential to have a great day to night transition look. A great outfit to wear from 9-5 but that can easily be ‘glammed’ up or down for happy hour. I think I finally found the perfect ensemble. I’ve seen a lot of ladies rock crop tops to the office…while I think it’s daring, I still opt to make the look a bit traditional by adding a chic black blazer paired with a printed high waisted skirt like this one from Prabal Gurung for Target (love a great Look For Less collab).
I always have to add a ‘Pop Of Color’ to every look, so queue the cobalt blue quilted clutch. I scored this bag on sale at Lord & Taylor last year, but everyone always assumes it’s designer…don’t you love when that happens?
My first pair of shoes for the ‘day’ look are from Nine West. These black booties are simply stunning and they are comfortable too. A great shoe to wear year round.
Now for my ‘night’ portion. Not much changes except loosing the blazer and adding an even sexier shoe.
My shoes are also Prabal Gurung for Target (I found similar one’s from Nine West available now). These are my ‘sexy’ shoes. Comfortable for a night filled with dancing, but also classy enough for a nice dinner. I simply love this look, now I just need somewhere to go!

Happy Tuesday Loves! If you didn’t know by now, I have a little cobalt blue obsession…especially for the summer time! Target always has the best designer ‘Look For Less’ collaborations and this look has two of them: Prabal Gurung & Peter Pilotto!
This floral Peter Pilotto dress wasn’t purchased when the collection originally came out, I waited till a month ago to snatch it from the clearance section of Target.com (isn’t that the best?) so I scored it for $20! Win for Missy 😉
These Prabal Gurung for Target heels are an all time favorite of mine. The first time I ever wore them was on my 21st birthday and they lasted through dancing in the club, walking the streets of Manhattan and more. Don’t they still look fab? For some reason chic black strappy sandals will always be a fashion ‘Do’ in my mind!
The perfect way to compliment this blue floral printed dress? With a cobalt blue Vince Camuto bucket bag of course! It’s from Saks Off Fifth and once again, bucket bags is a favorite trend of mine this summer!
Even my nails are blue…from Essie of course, the color is ‘Addicted‘ and I am pretty addicted 😉

Cool Vibes…
Happy Wednesday Fashion Lovers! I’m feeling a little blue on the blog today, but in a cobalt way of course! When visiting the Dietch PR Fall/Winter 2014 Press Preview in NYC the other day I decided to bring a little LA to NYC and rock some bright cobalt blue 🙂
I LOVE this look…yes I can’t say it enough. There is nothing I love more for spring than some whites mixed with some color and this look has exactly that! This is a great look to spice up your office wardrobe or even for a girls night out…whatever the occasion, cool vibes with some cobalt are always welcome<3
