Summer is just around the corner + that means plenty of pool days, relaxing afternoons + ice cold beverages to keep cool on those hot LA days. I live about 30 miles east of LA in Valencia which gets hot, hot, hot in the summer because it is pretty much desert. Palm Springs Getaway at the Aqua Soleil Hotel…

Happy Wednesday Loves! I am finally back to work after being in vacation mode for a lovely 4 day weekend + I feel refreshed, renewed + most importantly…happy! ♥ My boyfriend and I headed to Palm Springs since I love the desert vibes, great weather + endless sunshine. While I have been heading to Palm Springs ever since I first moved to LA, this trip was the best yet because we stayed at the lovely Aqua Soleil Hotel & Mineral Spa in Desert Hot Springs!

The Aqua Soleil Hotel & Mineral Spa is the ideal place to relax + rejuvenate when it comes time for a physical + mental reset. I have been overwhelmed with work so having a weekend getaway to such a relaxing place was just what the doctor ordered. The hotel has a full service spa with various massage services (including a romantic couples massage), multiple pools + jacuzzi’s and the best part? They have soleil suites (like I stayed in) that have your own private pool! Yes…no joke, you can get your own private in room pool, how cool is that?!

Since we had our own pool we decided to throw ourselves a little pool party…because hey we were on vacation so why not right?! 😉

Palm Springs Inspired…

Happy Tuesday Loves! I’ve always dreamed of going to Palm Springs after seeing all of the great Coachella pics on instagram…fun outfits, floppy hats and plenty of florals is totally my scene, so I decided to bring Palm Springs to my little piece of paradise on Long Island…my backyard! My top is from Abercrombie…I’m assuming a clearance find because I don’t think I ever spent regular price there since i was in middle school…my mom always taught me bargains are the way to go 😉 (Similar top is available from Bloomingdales)My lovely little floppy hat (the only hat I actually own by the way) is from Target…last summer (Similar one from Back Country is available)My shoes and shorts are Old Navy finds of course! Like I said, I love a good bargain 😉 I loved the green color of these sandals…don’t they just scream summer?! Shop My Look Below <3
