Every time I wear black + yellow I instantly feel like a bumble bee :p So since we are approaching spring which means fresh flowers + plenty of bumble bees, I figured I may as well embrace this little black + yellow ensemble! Whether you are looking for a cute little outfit for work, or want to opt for a bold look while hanging with your crew, this outfit is one I am loving for spring.

As if I am not yellow enough, I had to stand in front of a yellow background hehe :p Clearly I have a thing for color as if that weren’t already obvious…and my mission is to make you fall in love with color as well.

This yellow denim jacket is a great piece to add to your wardrobe so you can easily incorporate color into your everyday look. Style it with a classic white tee and jeans, a dress, or a skirt + bodysuit like I did here…it is a perfect statement making piece for spring.

My basics are great pieces to invest in as well. I LOVE this black skater skirt from Amazon (and it comes in multiple colors + is beyond flattering). My white bodysuit is also a key piece to have in your closet for everyday styling.

I love that throwback designer pieces are all the rage now-a-days so that means I can pull my little Prada Nylon Shoulder Bag out of retirement to style in 2019! Isn’t it so fun to see pieces you rocked in middle school + high school make a comeback? 😉

Since I am a firm believer that you can never wear too much color, I matched my jacket to these yellow heeled sandals.
