    Cozy, Comfy, Sunday

    20131201-094918.jpg
Nothing makes a relaxing Sunday better than a great casual outfit. This chilly weather calls for tons of layers as well as some faux fur, a sweater, booties and as always a great accessory or two!

My cozy and casual look consisted of an Abercrombie cardigan, an H&M faux fur vest, 7 For All Man Kind Jeans and Payless booties.

It’s the perfect outfit for running last minute errands in preparation for this week’s FFANY Shoe Show in NYC, where I will be living at the trade show all week! Wish me luck!

    Perfect Hannukah Gift: Hamsa Hand

    20131126-094846.jpg

It’s no secret that the Hamsa Hand has become somewhat of a fashion statement. I’ve spotted it on sweatshirts, necklaces, bracelets, rings, bags and more….however many people don’t realize it’s cultural significance is way more ‘in’ than the trendy symbol itself!

After a little research I discovered the ‘Hamsa Hand’ represents good luck and protection. It is there to protect you from evil spirits and bad luck and anyone who may give you the ‘evil eye’.

When you have a ‘Hamsa’ either hanging in your house or your wearing one, it’s expected to be a symbol of good luck for years to come.

How does this help you pick out a last minute Hannukah gift for your friend, relative or anyone else? Easy…hello get a Hamsa!

    A Moto Moment

    20131115-074215.jpg
One of my favorite trends for the fall season is the ever so popular ‘Moto Jacket’. It’s edgy, fun, girly and cute all wrapped into one.

Moto Jackets tend to be less structured and rigid as compared to the traditional leather ‘biker’ jacket. With the texture and angle in the front, the Moto Jacket gives every outfit that little extra ‘something’ without going completely overboard.

The Moto Jacket I’m wearing is from The designer Karen Kane…one of my favorites for chic trendy pieces (all of my faux fur vests are from her!). This piece in particular I was lusting after for a while so I was beyond thrilled when it was gifted to me from the designer, can you say ahhmazing?!

I layered this jacket over a cute Olive colored skirt I scored on sale at Nordstrom, a simple black thermal from Old Navy, Taupe suede boots from Me Too Shoes and of course I had to rock my ‘Mini Mac’ bag from Rebecca Minkoff!

    Happy Friday Fashionistas!

    Shop My OOTD:

    Moto Jacket: Karen Kane $228
    Skirt: Nordstrom $16
    Thermal Top: Old Navy $6
Boots: Me Too Shoes available on Amazon $79
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff ‘Mini Mac‘ normally $195 at Nordstrom it’s $156 for select colors!
