Happy Thursday Loves! I often times take a bunch of outfit photos at a time and they pile up within my iPhoto Library sometimes not getting touched for weeks…this look is one of them. While browsing through tons of looks I came across this shoot from over a month ago…yea…I’m running a little behind oops! This shoot was a favorite of mine and not just because of this chic black and white ensemble but because of the great laughs that happened while Sarah shot me! The gal can always make me laugh which was a refreshing change from my typical serious poses I do when my brother shoots my photos. As you can see…we had a little bit of fun 😉 My black and white color blocked button down top was from a little boutique on Long Island, but I found a great top from Karen Kane here (one of my favorite designers) that looks just like this one! My black skater skirt with faux leather trim is from Kohls I believe but I found a similar one from Nordstrom here. I love a simple black skater skirt for fall…they can be dressed up or down and are flattering on almost everyone!My black reptile tote is from Last Call Neiman Marcus…I’ve been wearing it well before fall began and it will never go out of style…black is always in! I love these nude lace up booties that the team at Pink Basis so nicely sent me! Unfortunately they are no longer available, but I found a similar alternative from Nine West at around the same price point. Once again rocking my favorite Kendra Scott ring from the Reward Style NYFW party…isn’t it gorgeous…I’m a bit obsessed <3Now for a fabulous outfit out take…cue laughter…I was celebrating my love for blogging…or Sarah was telling a really funny joke…either or this happened. Maroon Moment…

Happy Wednesday Loves! Sharing a new fall look today with brand new nude lace up booties and a fabulous maroon skater skirt from Pink Basis! You guys know how much I love showing a little leg, but with this outfit it’s an easy summer to fall transition look…the weather in NYC isn’t quite cool enough to begin layering but it also isn’t nearly 100 degrees like the heat wave currently happening in LA, so what is a gal to do? Wear this look 😉 Duh! I love this maroon skater skirt…maroon is becoming my favorite hue for fall! I paired it with an embroidered ivory peplum top from Kohls (similar available from Forever 21) and I am ready to head off for a day filled with appointments. I am obsessed with this beige studded tote from Last Call Neiman Marcus…unfortunately it already sold out! (Can you see why? It looks identical to the Valentino Rockstud Tote) I found a similar tote…minus the studs from Fossil at Nordstrom! These booties are everything…comfortable, stylish and totally on point in regards to fall footwear trends. I think nude booties are going to be my signature shoe for the season. Had to layer a little bling with this look…of course some white on white action. A white triangle necklace matches with everything and adds a statement to any look. I don’t know about you, but this week has already exhausted me and it is only Wednesday…I’ve been working on some exciting new projects and have been updating my Poshmark closet…have your checked it out? The Striped Skirt…

Happy Monday Loves! I’m posting a little later than usual because my schedule has been absolutely insane due to Fashion Week. I shared my NYFW Diary Part 1 with you over the weekend and now I’m breaking down my look from my day 1 festivities which included brunches, parties and fashion shows…every fashionistas dream…minus the running around in heels all day part…my poor feet will definitely deserve a massage at the end of this! My striped skirt which so many of you liked in my last post is from Target! Yes…Target! I fell in love with it the moment I spotted it and it was a big hit amongst my blogger friends at fashion week 🙂 My black cropped top is from the J Lo collection at Kohls and is on clearance for $12…now that’s my kind of deal! My rose necklace was a last minute Nordstrom find but I found a similar one here. My black open toe booties are from Nine West and are super comfortable…I was able to last from 11:00am – 8:00pm in them…now that’s a miracle in my eyes! My black quilted bag is of course the Rebecca Minkoff Affair Bag…has room for all my Fashion Week gear including my charger, almonds, make up etc. I had a busy day yesterday which I can’t wait to share with you guys as well and I am off to a few events later today and tomorrow so make sure to stay tuned and follow @MissyOnMadison on instagram for up to the minute coverage 🙂 Shop My Look <3

TGIF Loves! In addition to sharing this look which I am thinking I will wear tomorrow to my #NYFW events…which will be starting with two, yes two brunches tomorrow and I will be running around the Big Apple till 11pm tomorrow night…I’m exhausted just thinking about it!

With all the chaos happening this week and next week I think I need a vacation…which brings me to the next reason I chose this look for today’s post…it’s part of #MyCosmoStyle challenge in which I am joining forces with Vegas.com & The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas to share a great day to night transition look…something I can rock for Vegas Strip shopping, conferences at the Convention Center and of course for nightlife at The Cosmopolitan! I would never think to transition a tweed skirt and a chic black blazer from day to night, but with the proper top underneath, you are in business. For a day look simply wear a fully covering cami or blouse…but for a sexy night out at Marquee Nightclub or even a fancy dinner at STK, swap out the conservative top for a black crop top like this one that shows a little skin…they don’t call it ‘Sin City’ for nothing 😉 My black boyfriend blazer is from LC By Lauren Conrad for Kohls…my favorite line of blazers…the fit is amazing! My tweed mini skirt was a Target clearance find from a year ago but I found similar ones at Banana Republic and Bloomingdales. Now for the low down on the bling. My monogram necklace is from BaubleBar…timeless, classic and always brought with me when I travel, it goes with everything! I love my star bangle and nail bracelet…just the right amount of sparkle and edge that can be worn during the day or at night! My bag? Rebecca Minkoff black studded Affair Bag! It’s a great day to night transition…has room for all your essentials and can double as a cross body or as a shoulder bag with the adjustable chain straps.My black open toe booties are from Nine West. I LOVE them…sexy for day festivities or night out excursions…plus they are super comfortable! Now that I have all the proper pieces, it’s time to plan my next trip to Vegas 😉 Who’s with me?! From Day To Night…

Happy Monday Loves! I hope you had a fun filled weekend like I did…lets’ just say it involved some shopping, outfit shoots and…blogging. Just Kidding (not really), but I also spent some quality time with family and friends and ventured out on Long Island. So I learned while working in NYC that it is essential to have a great day to night transition look. A great outfit to wear from 9-5 but that can easily be ‘glammed’ up or down for happy hour. I think I finally found the perfect ensemble. I’ve seen a lot of ladies rock crop tops to the office…while I think it’s daring, I still opt to make the look a bit traditional by adding a chic black blazer paired with a printed high waisted skirt like this one from Prabal Gurung for Target (love a great Look For Less collab). I always have to add a ‘Pop Of Color’ to every look, so queue the cobalt blue quilted clutch. I scored this bag on sale at Lord & Taylor last year, but everyone always assumes it’s designer…don’t you love when that happens? My first pair of shoes for the ‘day’ look are from Nine West. These black booties are simply stunning and they are comfortable too. A great shoe to wear year round. Now for my ‘night’ portion. Not much changes except loosing the blazer and adding an even sexier shoe.My shoes are also Prabal Gurung for Target (I found similar one’s from Nine West available now). These are my ‘sexy’ shoes. Comfortable for a night filled with dancing, but also classy enough for a nice dinner. I simply love this look, now I just need somewhere to go!Shop My Look<3
