Happy Tuesday ♥ I know I have been a little MIA the past week, so I am going to get a little real today since I haven’t felt like myself lately. For the past year (since moving to LA pretty much) I have been battling with anxiety + depression. Sometimes it isn’t that bad + other times (like the past week) it almost feels debilitating. It feels like I don’t even have the energy to get out of bed + I find myself in a constant state of just wanting to ball up + cry. Pretty crazy right? Well I am no doctor, but I am pretty sure I’ve been battling this for a while + just being on my own has kind of put it into overdrive. Because of this I barely had the desire to blog (which seriously sucks), but something positive came out of this little funk I’ve been in…it helped remind me of why I do love blogging + what I want to share on my blog moving forward, more personal stories 🙂
Listen, chatting about fashion + beauty is fun but I think it’s felt really surface to me + I would love to be able to share about real happenings that effect everyone. So moving forward, things are getting real!
Since I got real at the beginning of this post, I can fluff things up a bit with chatting about my obsession with this floral maxi dress for fall! I have never been a huge fan of maxi dresses (I always felt they didn’t flatter me)…that was until I received this one from AMI Clubwear! I love the wrap design + the high slit (what gal doesn’t like to show some leg).

AMI Clubwear has also become a source for some of my favorite shoes…like these lace up heels (on sale for under $20)! They have on trend styles that are good quality + they are affordable ♥ Seriously…that makes my day!
No matter what the occasion, I firmly believe adding a ‘Pop Of Color‘ goes a long way. This magenta GiGi NY clutch is perfect for fall + is great for running errands or happy hour!
OnWednesdays…I wear P I N K ♥ This is a late night post because I had a pretty hectic day today (seriously believing that Mercury being in retrograde today is throwing me off my game hehe :p). However, no matter how busy I am, I can’t miss out on the prime opportunity to post a ‘pink‘ outfit on a Wednesday a-laMean Girls! This pink dress is actually only $13 from Sammy Dress + has become one of my comfy weekend staples since it is just a flowy, easy dress to wear for errands, brunch, adventures + beyond!
My sunnies are pretty much my signature for year round wear…RayBans!!
So as for this amazingly comfy + stylish Little Pink Dress from Sammy Dress…it’s pretty much the best thing ever (and I am no even exaggerating :p). I love easy pieces I can just slip on when I am in a rush in the morning and for $13 this dress is perfect for that! Great quality, fast shipping + can be dressed up or down for different occasions!
I decided to dress this look down (hey I can be casual every now + then :p). I have had these metallic silver Converse since I was in high school! Crazy I know…but they are still a favorite of mine!
And since I always love to include a little ‘Pop Of Color‘, I decided to bring out my magenta GiGi NY clutch! I have a slight obsession with GiGi NY. Partly because they are made and based out of my hometown on Long Island (gotta rep LI in LA hehe :p) but also because they are great quality products for a price that won’t break the bank AND they are unique from every other brand in the market!
So I may have titled this post ‘Black Florals‘, but after scrolling through all of the shots of me in this post I may as well name it ‘hair grab‘ since that seems to have become one of my ‘go-to’ poses while shooting new looks :p I am not quite sure how I always end up posing the same way (especially when whoever is shooting tells me to act ‘natural‘…my version of natural is being posed I suppose haha) but as I keep going through my iPhoto library I tend to see a ton of ‘hair grabbing / flipping’ shots #LongHairDontCare!
The past few weeks have been a little hectic for me which has in turn given me less time to blog, but rest assured once I am settled in to my new apartment with my little work area (complete with an instagramworthy set up of course :p) I will be back on track and writing tons more content (hopefully…fingers crossed haha)
