Happy Thursday Loves! I’m getting ready for fall with this ‘Black & White’ ensemble. Nothing is sexier than the perfect pair of pants paired with statement making shoes…today I have Lyssé and NYLA to thank for that 😉 Both my white off the shoulder top and my vegan leather leggings are from Lyssé! I love their pieces because they are simple, timeless and extra comfy! Something else I love? They help you ‘suck’ it all in…yes ladies that means stretchy spandex material that helps hug your body in all the right places! My fabulous black and white checkered heels are from NYLA! These NYLA shoes are called ‘Symphony‘…doesn’t that name just roll of the tongue? They come in black, blush and bone…the pair I am wearing are the ‘blush‘ tone. I love this hue for year round…don’t hesitate to wear certain colors just because it’s ‘out of season’ make it work with the proper ensemble!My bag? Of course it’s from Rebecca Minkoff…we know I’m a bit obsessed…what can I say when I find a designer I love I stick with them! It’s called the ‘Mini MAB Tote‘ and while I’m holding it has a little accessory in these photos, it also comes with a leather strap to wear it as a cross body…perfect for a night out! And sorry guys, but I had to rock some retro inspired sunnies for this look…yes I am slowly getting used to not wearing sunglasses for every outfit post, but sometimes they just make the look…like they did for this one 😉Shop My Look<3

Beauty Bag Essentials: Foundation

Happy Tuesday Loves! Figured I’d share where the start of my outfit shoots begin…with my foundation! I have searched high and low for the perfect beauty products that A) Give me proper coverage B) Hide my pores and redness C) Match my skin tone, with a slight hint of tan (what can I say I am slightly obsessed with having color year round).

Finally after years of searching…I have found my ‘must haves’ I simply can’t be without:

1) Benefit Cosmetics Porefessional: This baby is a miracle worker! Reduces redness, hides my pores and evens out my skin tone.

2) La Roche Posay Effaclar Mat: I use this twice while doing my makeup routine. First I do a thin layer as my regular moisturizer (it reduces shine and is a pore reducer) and then I use it again to mix with my foundation for a smooth finished look.

3) Dermablend Smooth Indulgence Foundation: BEST foundation hands down. Goes on smooth, gives amazing coverage and looks practically air brushed. It comes in a variety of hues and all of them have a little tint of bronze for a tan and glowing finish.

4) Japonesque Concealer Brush: This brush is great to get coverage in all those hard to get spots…under your eyes, around your nose etc.

5) Elf Stipple Brush: I LOVE this brush and can’t believe it only cost me $3 at Target. It is the best foundation brush for liquid or cream foundation.

Alright, Alright, Alright…Happy Monday Loves! If you couldn’t figure it out by the beginning of this post, my look today is 70’s inspired and figured I’d share some of my favorite lines from one of my favorite movies as well…Dazed & Confused!Nothing screams retro 70’s like bell bottom jeans…I got these Juicy Couture wide leg beauties when I was in high school and they still fit…isn’t that amazing? I kind of love when that happens! ‘That’s what I love about them high school girls, man. I get older, they stay the same age.’ (Another Dazed & Confused quote from sir Matthew McConaughey) My houndstooth halter top is from ASOS. I’ve been dying to style it for a day time look…normally I pair it with a black bandage skirt for a night of dancing, and when I dug out my wide leg jeans I thought…PERFECT! My bag is the Rebecca Minkoff ‘Affair Bag’ from Neiman Marcus Last Call…never pay full price 😉 These black suede and wooden wedges which my mom calls ‘Buffalo Sandals’ are from Payless!
