‘Red’y for Fall…

Happy Wednesday Loves! I couldn’t wait to share this look with you A) because I am OBSESSED with this red leather skirt and B) because it is a great ‘fall ready’ look…get it ‘red’y…ready…yea I amuse myself at times 😉 Anyways, I think I may wear this look for this week / weekend’s NYFW festivities…best part? It’s all affordable…true Missy fashion! My red leather skirt is from Lord & Taylor…I love the fit, color and shape. Perfect for the office or any occasion for that matter, you can’t go wrong with a classy skirt, especially one that pops! My white crop top is from J Lo for Kohls…crazy right? I love the fit because it doesn’t look like a crop top, sometimes they can be a bit scandalous, but this one is chic and even office appropriate. I also wanted to add a little extra red to my ensemble with this rose and stud necklace. Rebecca Minkoff always gets me…especially with this classic quilted ‘Affair’ bag. Definitely one of my go to pieces for Fashion Week! I’m going to miss my neon pink nail polish…I love it so much but today I am finally getting a fall manicure. Any suggestions?! Once again rocking the black suede pumps from Steve Madden…when you find a fashion staple, you will wear it constantly! (These beauties have lasted me years!) Shop My Look<3

Happy Tuesday Loves! I hope you all enjoyed the long holiday weekend, I know I sure did! While I’d like to say I spent the weekend relaxing…I was actually prepping myself for Fashion Week which begins on Thursday! Don’t worry I’ll be sharing my essentials with you on Thursday, along with coverage from the parties, events and shows I attend (I am SO excited!). It has always been my dream since I was a youngster to attend NYFW in any way, shape or form, so this season I am excited to not only catch up with my LA blogger pals who are flying in for the festivities but also to network with some of my idols in the industry 🙂 Anyways…back to the focus of today…reptile prints and crochet shorts…yes…shorts in the fall, why not?My black crochet shorts are from Urban Outfitters, I found similar ones from ChicWish because I bought these babies on clearance probably two years ago and they are no longer available. I love this reptile printed button down blouse from Old Navy for fall. It’s ideal for the office, date night or even a casual look…dress it up or dress it down…it should definitely be in your fall wardrobe rotation. I found a similar blouse at Gilt and at Lord & Taylor since this style is no longer available at Old Navy. I love this black reptile print Neiman Marcus Last Call tote because it looks just like a Celine bag but for a fraction of the cost. It fits all the essentials while still making a statement…once again, one of my fall must haves! My black suede pumps are from Steve Madden. Every gal needs a classic black pump and these are a fall / year round go to of mine 🙂 Not sure if this look is 100% office appropriate, but I do believe it is street style approved for New York Fashion Week! Happy Wednesday Loves! I love putting unexpected pieces together to create awesome looks…as my mom likes to say I put things together that look ‘weird’. Well while it may be weird to some, it’s fashion to me 😉 That’s what personal style is all about! I also attempted to put my hair up for a photo…I was digging it till my brother aka my photographer simply said ‘no’ while shaking his head…so the hair down it is.While I love denim shorts for a great casual look, I thought, why not dress them up with a simple white blouse and a crisp white blazer for a sophisticated look? Well here it is! To snazz up the white and denim basics, I paired my look with one of my obsessions, the Louis Vuitton Speedy Bag (I have two…both monogrammed with my initials…I may or may not have a slight designer addiction). Did you know that Louis Vuitton monograms all of their bags for free in store? Yea, I discovered this years after buying mine and they still did it for me! Now that’s customer service!My shoes were sent to me from Carolinna Espinosa. I love these sandals because of the thick block heel…we know what that means, comfortable! They are called the ‘Allentown‘ sandal and they are available now at Nordstrom.My white blazer is from my favorite line of blazers…LC By Lauren Conrad. Seriously all of her blazers fit me perfectly…I have yet to find another brand that suits me so well. The denim shorts? Abercrombie! Their shorts always fit me perfect…pretty surprising considering I’m not a 16 year old girl which is usually who wears their clothes, but hey I think Abercrombie is stepping up their game! My simple white printed blouse is from Old Navy (probably a clearance find…I never spend regular price there! I always find a coupon or a deal when it comes to Old Navy).Shop My Look <3

Happy Friday Loves! I feel like the summer weeks are flying by and I don’t want them to leave. I had a lovely day yesterday with my new Long Island blogger friends, Sarah and Kelly…let’s just say blogging was the least of what we discussed. So it’s Sarah and Kelly’s new goal to set me up with some decent guys…I’ve never shared this but…I’ve been doing the whole online dating thing on and off for a little while now and it’s safe to say it’s been…interesting.I tend to pick the wrong guys or maybe as Carrie Bradshaw says ‘I do not pick the wrong guys, they pick me’…either way haha dating has become quite the challenge, for me at least. So while I search for Mr. Right, I will stick with talking about what I know best…fashion. My paint splattered dress was another Charlotte Russe find (did you see my neon one yesterday…I got both of these beauties, buy one get one 50% off…score). It’s no longer available but I found a similar dress at Zappos (with an amazing print!)My white cross body bag was a Saks Off Fifth find from Badgley Mischka (I found a similar one from Rebecca Minkoff) and my block sandals are from Old Navy…I love the unexpected reaction when people ask ‘where are your shoes from?’ and I respond…Old Navy 😉 (BTW they are on sale now!)Shop My Look Below<3

Happy Friday Loves and Happy August 1st! I can’t believe it’s August already…i feel as though the summer has been flying by so fast so I need to make sure I get my fair share of neon summer looks in on the blog…including this one! A little fun fact about me…My favorite color is purple…so I absolutely love this ASOS purple cami. While this top was purchased months ago and is no longer available, I did find a very similar one from Revolve Clothing that I may actually order myself…who said you can’t have similar tops from different brands? If you find something that suits you stick with it! My light wash jeans are from Nordstrom…they have the absolute best jeans! These juniors jeans fit me great and I love how I can easily cuff them up for a casual laid back vibe!I love anything nude…yea kinda sounds a tad inappropriate but oh well, I’m referring to nude bags, shoes etc. First of nude shoes are a summer essential, especially espadrille wedges like these. They are the go to summer shoe for every fashionista. Dress them up or dress them down…they are always in style and on trend. In addition to my love for nude shoes, I also have another slight obsession…NEON! Cambridge Satchel totally got me when they unleashed all their neon satchels. Pretty, functional and adds an instant pop of color to any outfit.As if the brightness of the bag wasn’t enough, I had to add even more color with my frosted jelly link bracelet from BaubleBar and my Candles & Confetti pink and purple bangles (how gorgeous are they? The packaging was even better…they literally came with confetti!) You know it wouldn’t be a summer time fine look without my favorite mirrored aviators! (Seriously obsessed with the shot below…my brother did a fabulous job with photos this week…my prayers have been answered!)This is the perfect weekend outfit. Wear it during the day with the girls and then later at night for date night…well fitting jeans, nude wedges and a pop of color is my go to summer look 🙂 Shop My Look Below <3
