Happy Thanksgiving Loves! Time for some turkey, family time and of course shopping! I can’t believe how Black Friday now became something that starts on Thanksgiving so get ready, get set and start shopping…beginning with my super glammed up look here 😉 Hey why not look spectacular while eating five thousand calories in one sitting right?! My shaggy coat is the perfect holiday gift because A) it’s warm and B) it’s stunning duh! I love it <3 Super snuggly and it’s just the proper dose of glam any look requires. Under my shaggy coat is a simple white Old Navy sweater…a piece that every fashionista needs. As if my shaggy coat wasn’t snazzing up the look enough…I had to add a dash of Carrie Bradshaw with a tulle skirt…this time it’s in black so it can actually be worn for any occasion without seeming ‘Sex and the City’ esq like it looked in pink in my ‘J’adore Friday‘ post here.Can’t go wrong with a little bling 😉 You can shop some of my pieces from my Gift Guide here!I’m wearing my ever favorite Rebecca Minkoff ‘Affair’ Bag…and ladies this makes the PERFECT holiday gift for the fashion lover in your life. Rebel With A Pop…

Happy Monday Lovers! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend filled with fun, relaxation and maybe like mine…a little shopping (oops…that whole saving thing…kind of a challenge for me…who is with me?). So after rebelling against my mom aka my financial advisor’s wishes of me working on saving money (did I mention I made some stops at Target, Nordstrom & Old Navy?) I figured let the rebellious behavior continue with this ‘Rebel tee‘ from Old Navy! I actually came across this outfit shoot in my iPhoto library from August! My brother and I often shoot a bunch of looks at once since we both have such busy schedules during the week to try and shoot each look daily. So although this was shot in August, this can be the perfect fall ensemble for a night out or a dressed up weekend day look. My rebel tee is from Old Navy here. I paired with with a chic white boyfriend blazer like this one here. Fall is the season of leather, vegan leather and faux leather…so I had to rock my favorite Hue leatherette leggings available here. Now to break down my favorite part of any outfit…the bag and shoes!My bag is by BCBG and it is the ‘Pop’ in the title of this post…always need a great ‘Pop Of Color’ to brighten up any look no matter what the occasion or the season. While this style is no longer available, I found a similar clutch from BCBG at Lord & Taylor on SALE now here.My heels are from the Prabal Gurung for Target collection…a bit of a throwback so since they are no longer able to be purchased, I found a practically identical pair from Nine West here. What I love about this look is that it’s a simple tee that just got dressed up by adding a simple blazer and leather leggings…my two must haves for this fall season.| Click To Shop |

Maxed Out…

Happy Thursday Lovers! This was another outfit shot at my favorite Long Island back drop…the Vanderbilt Museum / Mansion. I’ve visited the grounds a few times now and every time I go it’s always picture perfect. I’m ready to instagram, pose and do typical ‘blogger’ things as some of my friends and family like to say I do whenever I visit the Vanderbilt Mansion. Well, this little look was no exception. I actually saw a few other bloggers style a maxi dress (which is traditionally a summer piece) for fall and I was inspired to do the same…hey any blogger who claims they are 100% original and don’t get ideas from stylists, bloggers or celebrities is totally lying…the world of fashion is a vast wonderland just waiting to be explored…similar to Long Island, which I’m uncovering one outfit at a time 😉I honestly can’t remember where I snagged this black ‘high-low’ maxi dress, but I found similar options here + here. The perfect way to make this common summer item and make it fall fabulous? With a cable knit sweater of course! I’m in LOVE like lust into love with this LC By Lauren Conrad Cable Knit Sweater from Kohls which is on sale NOW here.Now no look is complete without the perfect bag and shoes so here it goes…Yes, I have worn these taupe booties that I found at Marshalls a few times on the blog (here + here + here)…yeah they have become my fall staple shoe. My bag (which you can shop in my Poshmark closet here) is from Lord & Taylor (no longer available). I love a pop of color as you all know so here are two great blue quilted chain bags here + here.
