Valentine’s Day is upon us + that means plenty of hearts, love, flowers + of course…chocolate! My boo + I celebrated Valentine’s Day early in Florida to avoid busy crowds + fixed menus at restaurants (I highlight recommend that if you want a romantic night without crowds + hiked up prices etc). One thing I am currently loving is this outfit I put together to shoot in front of the famous Culver City Love Wall – one of my favorite mural walls in LA!
I don’t think there is anything for ‘Valentine’s Day‘ than red + hearts so I think I got my fill with this look.
I paired this top with a simple red skater skirt – this was such a good buy + is perfect for so many occasions (I wore it all holiday season long + now it is perfect for Valentine’s Day).
When I spotted this heart shaped bag I knew I needed it – how perfect is it for V Day?! Carry a little love with you wherever you go 😉 Am I right? hehe :p
It retails for under $30 on Amazon + is adorable for any occasion (it also comes in other colors like hot + light pink as well).
I had to wear my favorite red suede pumps for V Dayas well – they were such a good investment (I snagged them last year during a Nordstrom sale).

I am a busy bee with meetings, work + planning this weekend’s content shoot – blogging is a 24/7 business, the amount of work that goes into maintaining a blog, shooting content, editing, writing + finding the perfect spots to shot AND looks is exhausting! I am beyond thankful my boyfriend is supportive + plays photographer (although I bribe him with beer and philly cheesesteaks…his favorite hehe :p)

This post combines my two loves, a new look from a new boutique AND a new wall.Carerra Cafe on Melrose swaps out the mural on their wall every month or two + I have to admit, sometimes it’s a lame promo for a movie or TV show but this time it was the cutest freakin’ wall I ever did see! When I spotted it I told my BF my famous words he dreads hearing…’I have a vision‘ meaning he’s on photographer duty + he will be spending his weekend shooting outfits hehe :p Luckily he loves me + I pay him in Philly Cheesesteaks haha!
Before I go on + on about how much I LOVE this wall, I need to go on + on about how this adorable floral ruffle dress from Poppy and Sky! It is the perfect summer staple. With ruffle detailing, floral print + a flirty silhouette it is for sure a must-have. My BF called it ‘farmer girl chic’, honestly…I’ll take it haha! I literally love it so much. I hope ya’ll had a great Memorial Day Weekend! I sure did – it was filled with photoshoots, pool days + plenty of BBQ (yasss I love a good corn on the cob with some yummy burgers…who is with me?! hehe :p) Even though a lot of people were traveling this past weekend, I tend to travel at non-peak times (to avoid high airfare costs or traffic haha) so our next trip is to Arizona in June! I love to always plan a trip in the near future so I have something to look forward to…just keeps you excited about what’s ahead in my opinion :p

It is cozy, stylish + isn’t too dressy for a family lounge session after dinner but also isn’t too sloppy to be seated next to grandma at the dining room table haha…
These jeans are super comfy because they are a jegging like material but they also button so they give ya the warning when chowing down on delicious turkey.
If you are in a cooler place for the holidays, this top is great to layer with a faux fur vest as well! When I was in NY I always opted for a vest because…why not right? 😉
This Louis Vuitton Pouchette Metis bag is my obsession + I highly recommend it to be on your holiday wish list however tracking this beauty down is a bit of a challenge because it is currently a year long wait list for it (no joke) haha However they have similar styles available now at certain LV locations.
