Happy Wednesday Lovers! So it may be rainy and cold this week but I discovered a way to brighten things up around here…with a colorful outfit post…duh! Contrary to popular belief neon isn’t just for summer…case and point…this look 😉 I can never have too much color in my wardrobe…it’s what makes me me! I based this whole look off of two fabulous pieces…1) This neon Kendra Scott Necklace + 2) This Neiman Marcus cobalt blue tote…both of which I am in LOVE with <3 My shoes remind me of Chanel…why? Because they are classic tweed except with a ~~twist~~…an open toe! (P.S. I am selling them on my Poshmark here) They are comfortable, classy and are perfect for the office…year round!Now for the rest of the look…I had a thing for quilted in this post. Black quilted vest, gray quilted skirt…I just love quilted stitching…it’s timeless and always looks ‘put together’.To make the look a little different, I opted for a chambray button down (this one from Gilt is great)…I kinda had a thing for blue hues if you couldn’t already tell…speaking of…Yup, mirrored aviators…something every gal is after AND they make an awesome holiday gift for gals of all ages! My sister is 14 and is obsessed with her Ray Bans and my mom can even be seen rocking a pair from time to time…what does this tell us? Mirrored aviators…a holiday MUST! I wish the weather was warmer so that I could actually rock this colorful number but hey for now I will accept just sharing it with you 🙂 BTW as I am writing this I am watching the first episode of Bravo’s new series ‘Girlfriends Guide To Divorce’…and I am OBSESSED. Happy Thursday Lovers! Yes, I realize tomorrow is Halloween and it is far into fall, but sorry I’m not giving up my neon obsession! Today I color coordinated my neon Harlow necklace form Kendra Scott with my neon yellow Cambridge Satchel bag…the only way to wear neon right?A little fun fact about me? I absolutely love and live in skirts and dresses…so it can be the dead of winter and I would most likely attempt to rock a look like this…not the most practical but hey sometimes practical is boring if you ask me 😉 The lovely team at Kendra Scott sent me this Harlow necklace which I instantly fell in love with…I bet you can see why. Coincidentally it ended up matching my neon Cambridge Satchel…I’m actually selling it on Poshmark now because although I love neon and this bag…I rarely get to give it all of the face time it deserves…you can shop it here.I LOVE nude ankle strap heels for fall, spring, summer or simply anytime (except for in the snow…that may be a little too much for me to handle haha). I got these beauties at Payless but found a similar pair from 6pm.com here.This initial cuff from C Wonder is not only a great piece for every fashionista to have, but it is the PERFECT gift idea (hint, hint) for your mom, sister, boss, co-worker or your best friend! Who doesn’t love a simple yet chic piece of bling!Now for my ensemble…my purple crop cami top is from ASOS (you can score it now on sale for $10…amazing!). My quilted gray mini skirt is a clearance find from Lord & Taylor and you can shop it here (dress it up like I did or dress it down with some sneakers for a casual look). Finally, my favorite ever go to blazer…LC Lauren Conrad at Kohls…I turn to my white blazer more often times than I do my black blazer. Happy Thursday Loves! I couldn’t wait to share this look with you guys because it features two fabulous designers whom have become insanely popular the past couple of years…Kendra Scott & Carolinna Espinosa. What really pulls a look together are A) Killer Accessories & B) Fabulous Footwear…these brands have got A & B well covered 😉 In addition to my fabulous accessories, some simple yet chic clothes were a must and oddly enough they stem from the same designer. My boxy top is from BCBGeneration and my black textured skirt is from BCBGMaxAzria. Both pieces are super comfortable, versatile and flatter any figure. My yellow statement necklace is the ‘Harlow’ piece from Kendra Scott which they sent me after I professed my neon obsession…one of the many reasons I love Kendra Scott…they never shy away from bright, bold colors!Carolinna Espinosa makes exquisite shoes that are not only stylish but comfortable as well. I’ve gotten so much wear out of these ‘Allentown’ sandals they sent me back in the spring. From season to season, these beauties have gone with every ensemble. I’ve visited the gorgeous Carolinna Espinosa showroom a few times and at one of their press previews, they gifted us this great metallic clutch…unfortunately they aren’t selling it but I found a similar one here.Going through these photos, I fell in love with the shot above. Blogging has made me even more self conscious about how I look at all times…think about it, all eyes are on you at all times…but as the title of this post goes…brick by brick, nail by nail, blogging has pushed me to constantly keep building myself up to the best me I could be!Shop My Look<3
