Happy Halloween!! While I am not one to really dress up (you know…because I am too cool for school :p hehe) I figured I would share this ‘school girl‘ inspired outfit since it is practically like a costume for me haha 🙂 I was never a big Halloween person, I am not sure if it’s just because I don’t really like dressing up in costumes or because horror and gore scare the sh*t out of me haha (I am definitely a bit chicken) but I much prefer laying low Halloween time. So with that said, Halloweekend was pretty quiet for me…just how I like it!
Funny enough, I realized that this look kinda reminded me of something a school girl would wear…so hey for today’s sake, it’s my costume haha! I love this look for fall. It’s a great way to style a plaid button down shirt in a different way! Normally I always layered it casually with jeans, but I kind of loved this combo of it with a crop top + skater skirt.
Happy Friday Loves ♥ I got that Friday Feeling! Whether you are heading out for date night with your boo or a night out with friends, dressing to impress is always key! With temperatures still scorching, finding a comfortable and easy, breezy dress to wear out is a constant struggle (especially finding one that is affordable)! Luckily, my newest online obsession, Sammy Dress came through with this dreamy dress that’s under $15!!! Yea, not kidding…under $15!
I love how comfy and flowy this dress is! Plus…not having to wear a bra doesn’t suck too much either haha :p I haven’t worn halter dresses in a while and this one just fit so nicely and the quality is amazing despite the affordable price tag!
I am all about fun prints…another reason why I completely love this dress! The design is so cutesy and even if you want to style the dress for a Sunday brunch or a walk along the beach…it can be dressed up or down!
I’m beginning to get that F A L L feeling! I know, I know…it may only be the end of July (plus a serious heatwave in LA lol) but between Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale happening (primarily on fall clothes + accessories) and receiving this lovely dress in the mail from SheIn, I am starting to get into a fall state of mind :p
One of my favorite colors for fall is an oxblood / maroon. This dress is flowy + comfy (perfect for weekend adventures or the office) and the floral detailing gives it a little extra ‘something’! Since this dress reminds me of fall, I figured I may as well style it as such hehe
I paired it with my favoritebooties I have worn all year long from Go Jane (similar style available from them now ON SALE)! I feel a nude pair of booties is just classic and will never go out of style. They can be worn with jeans, a dress, shorts etc (ICYMI I styled them with shorts + a plaid shirt here).
My sunnies are from J Crew Factory and are a great classic black pair to have for commuting or even just running around town, I like that they are a little more sophisticated than the mirrored aviators I typically wear and are a great shape for my face (plus being from the outlet store…they are affordable)!
After being in Cali for a little over 2 months now, I have officially found one of my favorite spots…Malibu 😉 Naturally I would have champagne wishes + caviar dreams about one of the most expensive areas of Cali haha So while I may not be able to afford living there just yet (trust me, the second I do…Madison Malibu will be finding me my dream home :p I hope you guys are as obsessed with MDLA as I am because I new season is just around the corner and my boo thang Madison is making an appearance a few times throughout the season!) Anyways I digress…I popped over to Malibu with Ali to shoot this head to toe affordable look where each piece retails for $80 or under! Ummm AMAZING right?
Happy July 1st everyone! I can’t believe the 4th Of July is approaching (which is one of my favorite times of year by the way…who doesn’t love some instagram worthy fireworks paired with delicious BBQ…am I right? :p) Well this beach day look was actually shot back when I was still living on Long Island and it was taken in Huntington…one of my favorite places to go during the summer time. Looking through these photos definitely brought back some memories of home…and most specifically of how I’ve spent 4th of Julyevery year…
