♥Tis’ the season…to wear Red + Green♥

I am in full shopping mode picking up stocking stuffers, food + treats, last minute decorative accents and more. I am also heading to various holiday parties + needed a chic look that is perfect for any crowd. I have some corporate holiday parties to go to, so when I found this Calvin Klein A-Line dress, I knew it was pure perfection (it’s actually on sale for under $60 from various sites). Paired with a warm yet stylish coat like this red one, it makes for the ultimate holiday look!

Whether you are looking for the perfect Christmas Eve, Christmas Day or holiday gathering outfit, this one is great for any occasion.

This Calvin Klein dress comes in a variety of colors + the silhouette is perfect for date night, parties, girl’s night + more. It comes in spring colors as well as winter so it can be a transitional piece to wear season to season.

I styled the dress with a bold Gucci belt which was the perfect way to add a little extra ‘glitz‘ or ‘glam‘ to a simple dress. P.S. this Gucci belt also makes for a great holiday gift for yourself or others! 😉

Merry Christmas ♥

I am back in NY to spend the holidays with my family…so that means cuddling up with the cutest dogs ever (we have two King Charles Cavaliers – follow along on Insta Stories to totally melt – @MissyOnMadison) + plenty of arguing / ball busting…yea my family isn’t the warm and fuzzy kind…much more of the love/hate kind haha Nonetheless, it’s always nice to be back to be home + in a ‘New York State of Mind‘. Before I left for NYC, I headed to Pasadena to shoot this festive holiday look (because seriously, how great is this Christmas tree they have at City Hall?! Kinda amazing!)

I am all about dressing festive for the Holidays…but also comfortably! When I found this green velvet dress from Zaful, I fell in LOVE! It is the perfect dress to slip into no matter what your holiday plans are and the velvet fabric makes it soft to the touch + comfy enough to spend the whole night in!

I clearly have a thing for mixing materials! I am definitely into velvet this season, but I will always be a fan of faux fur as well. These faux fur heels are the perfect combination of sexy + sweet. They add a little festive fun to any look (not to mention they do double as a sexy little pair to wear for date night :p hehe) Gotta love when one pair of heels serve multiple purposes!

My Vera Bradley faux fur clutch is currently on sale + makes for the perfect accessory to add a little sass to any look!

It also comes with a cross body strap for those nights you don’t want to hold a clutch all night long 😉

Daniel Wellington has been popping up all over Instagram so when they asked if I would like to try one of their watches out I figured ‘hey, why not :p‘. Their watches are amazing! Classic, chic + they match with everything perfectly!

Faux Leather + Faux Fur for the Holidays? Count me in! Whether you are heading out with friends before spending time with your family or maybe you just want to be dressed up for your family gathering, mixing faux leather + faux fur can be really chic for the holiday season. I feel like there is always a struggling when styling faux leather + faux fur because there is a fine line between classy / elevated + ~~cheap / tacky~~ looking haha :p I have learned over time that how you style trendy elements make all the difference, mixing high + low and not overdoing any one type of trend is crucial to a polished holiday look.

I have been a longtime fan of these HUE Leatherette Leggings…literally for years. They fit like a glove + are pretty flattering (along with being comfy) if you ask me 🙂 They can be dressed up or down…especially for the holiday season!

While I styled them here with a faux fur shawl for a chic going-out look, you can make them casual with a pair of OTK boots + an oversized sweater. Don’t you love when pieces you adore can be styled multiple ways? 😉

Yay for Fri-Y A Y! It’s crazy to think that the Holiday’s are right around the corner and that calls for tons of dresses, glitz + glam. Now while I am in full support of glitter, sparkle and a chic LBD…why not try a new look this season? Maybe a little fringe paired with some leather? Edgy Holiday…here it is!The whole look is based around this Coffee Shop Coats fringe leather jacket. Nothing screams edgy like leather and fringe, this jacket is perfect for a night out, weekend errands and even your upcoming parties! Why not add a little extra sass to the ordinarily boring Holiday dresses, jumpsuits and looks…Fringe is in, give it a whirl! Let’s break down the accessories. Ok…so mirrored Ray Bans aren’t necessarily ‘Holiday Party‘ attire (I mean you will be inside for some egg nog + yummy aux devoirs) but they make you feel cool, calm and collected on the way to the party.
